Also seems a bit inaccurate to me. And I'm a Pierce owner. He is like the solid backend RB1 type who gets consistent points, but I think the Texans offense limits his upside where he can break into top 6. At the moment I would think Henry, Ekler, Chubb, ETN, CMC, Barkley all rank ahead of him just off the top of my head. There's probably a couple others like Josh Jacobs you can throw in there. But Pierce to me is a consistent locked in RB1, just on the back end of RB1s.

there’s no way Pierce can be top 6 unless the matchup is super favorable. the offense is just too limited. Hopefully they can do something promising in the offseason so we can see Pierce truly shine in a functioning offense next year.

Im debating Pierce tonight myself but with worse alternatives than Williams. Peirce is the only player Philly has to worry about with Cooks out. I expect a stacked box. Philly has Davis out, which ive heard is their main RB defense. So thats good for him. Williams is going against a less than great GB defense. Take a look at the GB injury report and it looked like a lot of their defense is gonna be hobbled. If Goff, Swift and Sun God can make it across the field, Williams is gonna feast. I traded away Dameon Pierce a few weeks ago with Courtland Sutton for Etienne, DHop, and Tony Pollard. It was max hype of Pierce and before the whole James Robinson game before getting traded. Pierce is good, don't get me wrong. But his games were against pretty damn bad run defenses or at least mediocre. He got bailed out last week, and he has an awful schedule rest of the season. Not to mention when they have to play harder offenses, they will have to pass significantly more to keep up and Pierce is not exactly in the Ekeler conversation to stay afloat. I think you have to temper expectations and really see he will exist in the RB2 Range based on volume and hopeful touchdowns.
