Believe it or not, I'd probably drop Russ. Carr has been consistent and, like you said, I think Dalton balls out this week and he seems to have the starting job in NOLA. Plus, do you really think someone will pick Russ up off of waivers? Dudes been pretty bad

I’d cut dalton as I feel carr may be the better start. However, if you want to start dalton this week, then you can go afford to cut ties with russ.

After this week I don't think I'll start Dalton, just with the whole love triangle NO has going on makes it unreliable. I would've happily started Carr but I'm worried they will just run the entire game with all their recievers out

10 team, sure. 12 teams and higher, I still suggest holding.

I’m in an 8 team league and I think that makes it better to hold him. My third and fourth best receivers are Amari Cooper and Chris Olave, so it’s not like I would ever expect to play a WR30 I could pick up off of waivers. I’m already pretty set at WR (as is most of the league), so I’d rather hold a player like Michael Thomas who has the potential to be a top 15 wide receiver if he comes back. Smaller leagues means waiver wire players are better, but the average starter is a lot better too. Healthy waiver wire guys are all a big step down from who’s starting, but so risky bet like Michael Thomas is the type of player who could actually feasibly be an improvement

I would say yes but also depends on your league size. If it’s like 12+ then there may not be any inspiring options on the waiver wire.
