My RB 2 is Kamara lol. I went from happy to sad so quick based on this ams news. I have no more pick ups for the week also if he's out. Our league allows 3 and I grabbed my streaming d, a kicker because Butker is out, and Mostert who already played because Edmonds has been lack luster. If he's out I'm going without a RB .

Never really thought about it until now but FUCK that rule lol. Before I didn't know why they did it but I guess it was to fuck me 3 years later.

In fantasy hockey, we have a limit of five pickups but that’s because matches are one week long. Picking up a ton of people and cycling through games can create an unfair advantage (more players with 4 games vs 3 or 2 per week). Three pickups in fantasy football is brutal. You should ask your commissioner to remove that rule for next year.

My league does 5. It's a dated rule from 9 years ago when we first started our league and nobody really knew what they were doing. We had guys doing 7 or 8 add drops a week. Drop and pick up the same player multiple times. Shit like that. So we instituted a 5 move limit. We don't need it anymore but nobody really complains because honestly nobody in our league ever makes that many weekly moves these days.

I think it would be so you couldn't pick up and drop players during the week and make them go through the ww process. That would potentially block other teams from either getting them, or putting in a claim to force teams down the waiver priority list. Maybe not the case, but that's always how I looked at those types of limits.

That's a terrible limit, Yahoo default is 8 and we've never had a problem with it.

My league does the same. Rule was implemented years ago because a few owners would add/drop several players to severely limit who could be picked up by other owners in case of a last minute scratch. For example, take Kamara and potentially CMC today. An owner playing against a team that has either player could repeatedly add/drop any potential replacement to leave the WW empty of serviceable backs. Personally I hate this rule, but a few owners, 1 in particular, abused this every single week. Could not reliably stream defenses, kickers, or even QBs. I only add 1 or 2 players during the week and hold my last pickup for Sunday in case of a last minute scratch.

It's like pissing in the wind. Kinda feels good for a bit, but all things considered it was a bad idea.

I've got Herbert, Etienne, zeke and a ton of WR depth. I'm super tempted to just bench CMC either way and fill out my roster with Bateman/Dortch/Dotson

Yeah, had to move CMC to my flex... All my other RBs start at 1 At least this way I can flex a WR if he's out at 4 Edit: If you don't have anyone, Lavishka is probably still available in your league. He got traded just before week 1, so he debuted for the Panthers last week in the 4th quarter and immediately got a 67 yard TD. I've picked him up in past seasons, but never got to start him. If CMC can't play, he's going in for me. They'll be playing from behind, so a lot of passes to go around. And I can't see Baker not favoring him after what two targets got last week in just the fourth quarter.

That's what I did this week as well. It's either CMC, Doubs, or Godwin. Lol

In my home leagues you consistently see even the smarter players misusing their FLEX, blows my mind. Many of them know to avoid using the FLEX on Thursday but don't think through not blowing them on the 1 PM block when they can avoid it.

Fair enough. I’ve been imagining that Foreman will get the early and short down work and Chuba would be change of pace/3rd downs. But you’re probably right that neither role is valuable. I’m still holding Foreman with hopes he has a big game if CMC sits so I can use him as trade bait.

I did the same as far as CMC in flex spot, I've got DJ Moore to slot into flex if needed (god help me). My only other play would be Juju, but weirdly enough I feel more confident in DJ Moore against Arizona rather then Juju at TB.

I have him in a league without a flex so I am starting miles sanders and will plug in James Conner in my other RB slot if CMC doesn’t go. Not ideal cause I wanna start Conner/CMC but can’t risk it

That’s what I’m gonna do, best option on waivers was Dortch so I’m leaning him. It’s also a standard league which makes it feel a bit worse but is what it is. CMC would be my 4th starter out for this week so it’s just a whole mess
