Franmil would honestly be a drop for me so you’d be swapping Woodruff and O’Neill for Baz and Flaherty. Woodruff > Baz and I like O’Neill’s odds of turning things around better than Flaherty’s chances of staying healthy and returning to form

You wouldn't keep Franmil? As a prior owner, he's a beast. I know he's struggled so far this year, but he can hit 30 homers in the second half. O'Neill is pissing me off. We pick five players to carry over from last year (with a three-year limit.) O'Neill was one of my five, along with Woodruff. Their performance so far sunk my team quickly. I'm in third year of owning Woodruff. I could still deal him in off-season, but can't own him in 2023. So I approached Baz owner to improve his roster as he's in the hunt, in exchange for a package that includes Baz. But you don't think it balances out?

Well not being able to keep Woodruff for next season changes things. If you’re looking long term then I would pull the trigger but if you’re in win now mode I’d stick with what you’ve got

He’s also coming off by far the best week of his career, and on the upswing after a rough patch. If you held him through the 5 HR blowup, the almost no-no and then shutting down Toronto shouldn’t have you changing your mind.

Own him in all 3 leagues, so definitely want to keep holding. Mostly wondering if people see him as a shutdown candidate since he's a young stud pitcher on a bad team.

Why would a potential late season shutdown make you drop him in May? If it happens obviously you drop him then. If you’re asking about selling? Sure provided someone else gives you something good, but it’s likely they’re going to see his line dragged down by that nightmare start and not want to buy.

I have him, yes. If he is ranked that high next year I'll only be able to keep him 1 more year as we can't keep the top 2 players drafted each year on our team. The most you could have Trout is drafting him, keeping him an extra year, then he goes back. Really the only reason I like this deal as I feel like Manoah won't get that high and I could keep him in perpetuity.
