Where he was standing it was inevitable for him to fall on it, he would drop flat because that's what tasers do, drop people immediately. The police had three options, shoot him, taser him, or let him jump. They chose to let him jump and he died, I doubt they give a shit either way.
The taser would go with him as he fell, the prongs would either dig into his skin and pull the officer holding/taser gun with him or they’d rip out from his skin. Hell, maybe they don’t even go in all the way, there are some factors to consider so it’s more of like a 50/50 shot.
The cop wouldn’t be pulled with him. Even if the prongs are ripped from the flesh, the taser has performed the intended function and the guy would be falling to the air bag below.
Pretty selfish of him to waste everyone’s time and make the firemen blow up that ridiculous cushion when there were likely real emergencies to respond to. This is unpopular on most subs but I have absolutely no sympathy for suicidal people. Get help or do it in a way that doesn’t waste public resources.
Someone who is suicidal is a real emergency. Mental health services in most countries are atrocious so people can’t just “get help” have some compassion.
THIS GUY WAS MY BROTHER
We live together since we were 13 years old
1 year ago he lost his mother who was his only living relative
Now in February we were going to meet to celebrate his birthday but he has been missing for 9 days until the consulate found him
Was anyone here present that day?
Someone who can give us some detail of what he told to the police?
He was a very good person, not vicious or troublemaker, always with a smile on his face
He was a giver
And he has a hundreds of shocked friends here in Mexico so please, if anyone knows anything, contact me
You can tell all of the emergency servicemen had a “damn it” moment right after
This guy was really determined to die that day.
"Are you fucking schtewpid"
Gorgeous execution. Could’ve had a career as an Olympic diver with that landing.
Couldn’t ask for a better ending.
I give him an 8.5
7 Straight for the landing
Why not taser him so he falls on the bouncy bounce?
Because if they taser him and he doesn't fall on the bouncy bounce, instant lawsuit controversy murder charge whole big ass thing
Couldn't they just said they thought he had a gun... I mean they get to kill with that excuse

Why the fuck would they shoot him you stupid piece of shit? Why is that an option?

Agreed^ falling on three giant fishhooks doesn’t = death. Also it’s a taser with a cartridge not a Batman grappling gun😂
"Do a flip!"
Exactly what I was thinking 😭
It was a pretty impressive maneuver considering how stressed that dude probably felt
He was so nimble.
the fucking sound when he hits the ground... oh my god
Cannonball..🙄
Man I feel genuinely bad for everyone there, especially the firemen at the bottom
From that height…. He may survive with life altering injuries. But I don’t have context.
Link is dead
It's a downloadable, check your downloads for video
The fireman were like "vacation time Emotional Damage"
“Do a backflip!”

People dont have resources to get help 🤷🏻♀️ Me personally.

sorry, I cant do it,
I literally live a block from there. That particular overpass is very high, almost no chance of survival.

Terrible. Reminds you how fragile life is.
