Am tired of this shit everyday some randome guy comes and try to play the hero of"they don't know about islam let me answer thier doubts" look we know more about Islam than u will ever do
R u a scholar
Do you need to be a scholar to know about Islam? No
Ah yes u need zero knowledge about Islam to enter but u need a PhD in Arabic and Islamic studies to leave
Well I’m still learning u might have more knowledge than me but pls don’t brag
Ok do u know prophet lut what do u think if him
Mohammad r\*ping a 9 year old child didn't convince you to leave Islam so what will? Is there a hypothetical case where Mohammad could do something that will make you quit Islam?
Mohammad consummated his "marriage" with Aisha at 9 backed up by 17 Sahih (Authentic) hadiths:
One of them:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that \`Aisha remained with the Prophet (ﷺ) for nine years (i.e. till his death).
Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 5134
Look at it this way he waited til she was nine, he had 10 other chicks to pick from not like he was starving get laid lol
As someone who doesn’t watch it I say picatue (idk if I spelled that right lol)
Damn, you got us this time…
Mewtwo of course...
What do you think of the way Islam describes Jannah and Jahanam?
The Quran explains it in very big detail
What do you think of the way it’s described?
I’ll keep it short heaven is eternal pleasure hell depending on what u have done is eternal or 2 weeks
Doesn't it sound like a brothel? Get to heaven for big tittedd white skinned women where pussy is over flowing?
What do you think about the described rewards and punishments?
I think you're struggling to understand the question. How do you *feel* about heaven and hell? About the idea of God sending you there, about some people being tortured forever.
And here I thought I'd seen the last of you.
Oh it’s u lmfao hi
How old was Aisha when she got married and had sex?
Married at 9 idk about sex
She was married at 6, had sex (raped) at 9. You don’t even know some of the most basic facts of islam 💀
No she was 6 when it was revealed she will Mary him and at 9 they got married
Please explain Sahih al-Bukhari 5134
They always fkn never respond after u give the source
Maybe they are having an existential crisis and looking up what the sheikhs said about it 💀 we have all been there though
It pisses me off
I had a full folder of evry time a Muslim disappeared after giving them the link but I lost that folder sadly
I hate that"this little fools do not know the beautiful Islam let me show me and convert this mororns so I can get janah points by the knowledge I got from naik
I know it’s hilarious lmao
Come back man
You are 14 lol
By depends I mean prisoners of war
>By depends I mean prisoners of war
In which war did Mohammad acquire the slave girl Maria?
The great concubine war of 628AD. Where Mohammed defeated the Pharoah Dhul Qarayn II to capture the chosen concubine who could get pregnant. Alas, he forgot to say Inshallah when raping his war booty and unfortunately Allah took away young Ibrahim 😢
Mostly accurate. Just one correction. Pharaoh was just Pharaoh. That was his name. Dhul Qarnayn was just the nickname his mother had for him.
That doesn't really make it better...
Do you mean like an official declaration of war from a sovereign government? Or like ISIS, Taliban, or any thing that is declared a "Holy War" by anyone?
Declaring war I don’t support isis or taliban
Funny enough bac their actions r completely justified form the coran
What do you think about the death penalty for apostates?
He wont answer this, lest it makes muslims appear evil.
We have plenty of muslim posters already.
What makes you different than any other muslim in here?
I’m here to tell ppl about islam
This sub's name is ExMuslim.
We already know about islam. 💀
Ok who do we worship
They worship me 😉
No fr like who do we worship
Most Muslim posters come with the assumption that we don't know Islam well enough or we wouldn't have left.
I can assure you we leave because we tried to prove Islam is correct, not because we don't understand the ideology.
Don't assume you know more about it than we do and we won't assume we know your religion better than you do.
4. TikTok Sheikhs
This is not my AMA.
Why are you asking me question lol
Really cant be arsed who you're worshipping tbh.
We dont have the obligation to justify our apostasy to you, an irrelevant nobody.
He's leading you to say something that sets him up for a profound reply
Yeah, Im aware of their "gotcha" method.
Thats why I dont engage with dishonest questions.
Muslim be coming in here thinking we dont know anything about the religion we were in since birth 😂🤣
This man thought he is special and has something no muslim has ever brought here before 💀
Why? What makes you think you're qualified to do an AMA?
I’m not qualified I’m just answering any questions u guys have
why would a guy calll himself alra7man alra7eem (the most merciful being in the universe) brutally torture people instead of just punishing them in the afterlife, allah is like the Chinese government but tortures you for even pettier things then he brings you back to life and does it again for ever, to call that merciful because he could supposedly do even worse or because some victims are only temporarily there would be some sort of BDSM relationship
LeBron or Michael Jordan?
Good question I would say Michael jordon
Power house of the cell?
I did not know thank u
I am an ex Muslim, and I don't think this simple fact alone proves existence if the universe. I mean literally all living things including plants share similar biochemistry and DNA structure with each other.. While this can be a good additional evidence to back up the theory of evolution , it doesn't in itself disprove God and proof evolution of common decent 100% because we haven't explored nor eliminated the possibility of other explanations, and that's how good science should work.
We non-religious seem to not suffer any less from confidently making unfounded claims unfortunately. There is a difference between you perosnally not needing God to explain the world around because you belief in naturalism and asserting naturalism is just a fact because evolution most be true.
First my main contention against you was the idea that evolutionary theory is enough to answer questions about existence or that it's disproves God.
Nevertheless, there is difference between evidence and proof. I said it's not proof. Evidence are interpretational and questionable.
However , Explain how it's a extremely strong evidence when Convergent evolution is thing within the theory itself which is the idea that not only can two organism share similar DNA, but they can also share almost indistinguishable striking features and characteristics, but yet not be share a common ancestor?
I mean one single gene means we decented from each other, but at the time sharing tons of similar features and DNA does not necessarily means two organism are decented from each other? How is that not self-defeating ?
I am not saying evolution is false or that it's not a strong scientific theory to explain the origin of living organism, but the theory certainly still has lots of holes and inconsistancies and still has lots of questions to answer , but more important, that specific evidence you presented for its truth isn't as strong as you believe.
Why, in your own words, would you say that islam is true? How can you prove that islam is the true religion?
We are the only religion that Truly believe in one god and look up on YouTube for miracles of islam
Islam isn't the only religion that believes in one god. Also, even if islam is the only religion that only believes in one god, how does that prove that said god exists?
Ah ah ah, that's why I said to use your own words and not just telling me to look at youtube. Also, considering we were once muslim, there's a high chance that we knew about said miracles and yet we still left islam.
What you just used is something called circular logic. You said (or, well, implied) that islam is true due to its miracles but keep in mind that the miracles are what islam said to begin with.
There aren't any miracles for Islam 😂
Moon split? Did that happen?
But how do you know thier is only one God? Why would that in itself proof Islam is true? Anyone can come now and organize a religion that only believes in one God, and there are, would that make it true?
As an ex hard core Catholic who freed myself, why should I go to Islam? Ps. I've read Quran several times. It reads like a Bible knock-off to be honest
What are some of the things that make you doubtful of Islam?
Do you think muslims will ever be accepting of people who don’t think alike? (i am talking about those in islamic countries specifically)
Islamic countries don’t even follow islam to answer ur question idk
Are you married? Have any kids?
No I’m 14
Go to school man, tf are you doing wasting your time with religious bullshit.
If you are 14, what makes you qualified to do a ama on exmuslim subreddit?
funnily enough all the people who made similar posts here were around that age (14)
What do you think about prepubescent marriage being allowed?
It’s not…… ppl have to Atleast hit puberty to get married islamicly
Well do you think people who have just hit puberty are fit for marriage? Girls hit puberty from as early as 8…
No back back when the prophets were alive life expectancy was low and kids were more mature then rn I would say don’t marry as soon as u hit puberty
Yeah Aisha looked like my grandma when she was six
>No back back when the prophets were alive life expectancy was low and kids were more mature then rn I would say don’t marry as soon as u hit puberty
This is total nonsense. Average life expectancy was low due to high infant mortality rates. Mohammad r\*ping Aisha at 9 did NOT help AT ALL. Pregnancy at that young an age could have been lethal. Aisha did not have ANY children with Mohammad and she lived up to her mid 60s. So there was NO rush in her case.
There is ZERO evidence of children maturing faster back then. Nine is way too young anyway to make this absurd excuse. You're under such heavy indoctrination that you can't see Aisha as the child that we do:
[Muslim Apologist: Children Matured Faster Back Then | Us: FACEPALM](https://www.reddit.com/r/exmuslim/comments/uz2v6n/muslim_apologist_children_matured_faster_back/)
Thank you for pointing out that the lower life expectancy was skewed by teenage pregnancies (higher infant mortality risk, along with the mother), Jack. Spot on!
What I also don’t understand is how people justify this rubbish (children used to mature faster back then), but refuse to believe in evolution - saying that our physiology is different now to 50-100 generations ago (it’s not; takes more like several hundred generations for adaptive physiological changes) is the very definition of evolution!
There's no limit to how low they'll stoop. This fellow left me speechless:
“High school biology” - sounds like he “learns”his “science” by listening to the clown Zakir Naik (the epitome of BS). This is also an example of how mental gymnastics like this actually eventually corrupts peoples morals. Think that way often enough and it won’t be long before you start to believe it yourself. I try to tell people that when the human inside you comes into conflict with your core beliefs, you need to sit and contemplate on why that is. But my son recently reminded me that if you keep ignoring the humanity inside you, it will eventually relent and you will be left with only your beliefs.
Don’t see that as a good enough excuse back then either mentally no 8 year old is ready for marriage and sex.
And how do you know more kids were mature, we’re you there?
And Islam is supposed to be the perfect religion that can cater to all time periods, so surely child marriage would still be suitable now?
So is this evidence that Islam is not actually ‘universal’ and is a product of its time - and the prophet was also a man of his time and not a reflection of good across all mankind?
Absolutely sure let if the prophet is the perfect person to follow then marrying kids would be considered fine but it’s not and that’s for good reason.
It is a fact that kids were more mature back then
According to what evidence?
Look at ur family tree for example u can see kids are less mature now
It’s impossible to have a family tree dating to the phrophet a time. Just admit you have zero evidence that proves kids were more mature. And you failed to answer the rest of my question why was child marriage okay then and not now If Islam is suitable for all of human time.
We get Muslim lurkers a lot and I don’t think you Udnerstand your AMA isn’t going to change anyone’s mind here as we’ve all heavily researched into Islam you forget we were Muslim once too
You have a legitimate source for that? Scientific evidence? Any academic studies?
This is not a credible source on androgen levels over time this is just an amateur YouTuber
Here’s one for you: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2465479/
Source indicates children are actually starting puberty at younger ages today than before so your argument falls apart
You think that because you listened to someone who told you that. And that someone has a bad grasp of maths.
The **average** life expectancy was low. Thats not because people matured faster and died old and decrepit younger, thats because a lot of kids died back then, which makes sense because they were fragile in an unkind environment.
So you have this situation: most kids would die very young, and those who did not could grow old and die at around 70-80 yo. This is what made a low average life expectancy.
So logicaly there was no point to marry a kid, because if the kid dies the wedding was for nothing, but if the kid reach adulthood the risk of death is very low and it is safe to marry.
And about faster maturity: for a brain and body to develop faster (and mature faster) you need a good environment and enough food. If the environment is such that a lot of kids die, it make sense logicaly to think that the brain and body would have a harder time to develop. So you cannot possibly expect them to mature faster **and** at the same time expect them to have a lower life expectancy.
You literaly cannot have both.
>No back back when the prophets were alive life expectancy was low
Cite your sources. It doesn't matter whether the life expectancy was low or not, Muhammad is the universal timeless guide for all of mankind.
>kids were more mature then rn
Not scientifically possible.
This is completely false by the fact that when Isha was betrothed to mohammad and he had sex with her, she hadn't even reached menstruation, proving the idea the girls just developed faster is complete nonsense and that girls need to reach puberty is a lie.
can you atleast read your book for fuck sake ?
it is clearly stated in the quran that marrying prepubescent children is totally fine
infact the quran doesn't set minmum age AT ALL.
Not really, refer 65:4
*And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months,* ***and \[also for\] those who have not menstruated.*** *And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease. Qur'an 65.4*
*The \`Iddah of Those in Menopause and Those Who do not have Menses Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause. And that is the one whose menstruation has stopped due to her older age. Her \`Iddah is three months instead of the three monthly cycles for those who menstruate, which is based upon the Ayah in (Surat) Al-Baqarah. \[see 2:228\]* ***The same for the young, who have not reached the years of menstruation****. Their \`Iddah is three months like those in menopause. This is the meaning of His saying.* Ibn Kathir tafsir.
How does Arab boots taste? Arab bootlicker
Why are you dumb enough to believe ex Muslims don’t know Islam? What are your academic credentials? Why are you declaring yourself a prophet when I am the one true prophet? I’ve been defeating allah nonstop to the point where she is too scared to show up on this sub.
How many rakah in witr? Can you provide the correct answer without looking it up? If you can’t, you already admit to yourself you know less. And when was the last time you prayed witr? If it’s been more than 24 hours ago, you already admit to yourself you aren’t committed to prayer.
I’m guessing you have a lot to ask yourself 😆
The alternative is you can give me some word salad to deflect/deny, and being yet another mustard who proves me right, like every single other invading mustard does.
Has the Qur'an been changed??
Sahih al-Bukhari 4990
Book 61: Virtues of the Quran
Hadith 512 (Volume 6)
There was revealed: 'Not equal are those believers who SIT (at home) and those who strive and fight in the Cause of Allah.' (Quran 4.95) The Prophet ﷺ said, ""Call Zaid for me and let him bring the board, the inkpot and the scapula bone."" Then he said, ""Write: 'Not equal are those Believers who sit.."", and at that time 'Amr bin Um Maktum, the blind man was sitting behind the Prophet. He said, ""O Allah's Apostle! What is your order For me (as regards the above Verse) as I am a blind man?"" So, **INSTEAD of the ABOVE Verse, the FOLLOWING Verse was revealed:** 'Not equal are those believers who SIT (at home) except those who are DISABLED (by injury or are blind or lame etc.) and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah.' (Quran 4.95)
BLIND MAN who adds the words <>
Blind man adds the words <<غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ>> to the Holy Eternal Quran.....
shall we make a petition for mods to delete any post like this one ?
i swear its getting annoying.
Are you 100% sure you will go to heaven?
Why are you a Muslim?
For me the belief in one god makes sense
Lots of other religions have belief in one God as well.
Kinda some ppl believe in the trinity
There are Hindus who believe in one god. Should we practice their version of religion?
They don’t truly believe in one god they believe in multiple in one
No, some of them believe in one god who takes on different forms (like messengers), but a single being.
Yh I don’t believe in that I just believe one god
So its not just about one God then.
Islam is not the only monotheistic religion. Why Islam?
What about Mormonism or zoroastrianism? Or the bahai faith? They all believe in one god too.
Trinity is also three in one god. They think its still monotheism. Just that you don't agree with their version.
Is it possible for an evil, unrepentant Muslim to ever attain entry to paradise?
I hope this AMA makes you question your belief more than anyone because everyone else here has extensively questioned their belief enough and studied Islam enough to leave it
Why couldn’t the creator of everything (Allah) and his chosen one (Mohamed) figure out how many daily prayers people could handle? Instead it took multiple tries and advice from another prophet? A prophet who isn’t even of this ummah?
Why is it orthodox Muslims will never say anything bad about your prophet? Islam exhorts their prophet like LDS members do Joseph Smith, both give their founders super human qualities.
How can you not realise your stupidity
Why does the Islam sub need to remove "I'm an Apostate AMA" posts? Is your religion that fragile?
Also do you acknowledge that Al-Azhar represents Mainstream Islam and that this fatwa expresses scholarly consensus in Islam about child-Marriage in Islam?
>“The majority based their opinion – that a young woman may marry before she reaches the age of puberty [under the guardian’s supervision] – on the words of God the Almighty Who says: “And for such of your women as despair of menstruation, if ye doubt, their period (of waiting) shall be three months, along with those who have it not” [65: 4].
>According to this verse, the idda [waiting period] for a premenstrual girl is three months. The waiting period naturally follows a divorce and there is no divorce without [there first being] marriage. According to one interpretation of the verse, it is permissible for individuals who have not reached maturity to marry legally, provided the conditions of marriage are met. In Islam, then, there is no set legal age for marriage. In these days, a minimum age limit is set by [secular] legal systems to protect the psychological and physical well-being of the couple. This allows both partners to carry the responsibilities of marriage.”
Is there any actual manuscript evidence that the text of the Bible was changed in such a way that the original might have been compatible with Islam?
For example, Islam says that Jesus was not actually crucified, while obviously this is a central point in all four Christian gospels and in the epistles of Paul.
Many Muslims would just say that the gospels have been altered to say that Jesus was crucified. But if you look at all of the manuscripts and fragments of the Bible that scholars have collected, despite all the variants, literally no New Testament scholar (whether Christian, non-Christian, atheist or anything else) would say the original manuscripts didn’t tell a story about Jesus being crucified. (Since *every* variant tells that story, even if some variants spell some words differently, etc.)
That’s just one example. There are numerous other ways in which Islam seems to contradict the Jewish and Christian scriptures, and where many Muslim apologists would just say that those texts have been altered. My question is what the actual manuscript evidence is to show that those texts have been altered *in the way* they would need to be altered if the originals were to have been consistent with Islam.
I hope the question is clear. If not, let me know.
Lol I think OP is going to leave Islam soon due to this chat
Sorry if I could not answer all ur questions I hope this helps u guys look into Islam I am not a scholar and I’m still learning about islam
>i hope this helps you guys look into islam
1. we don't need help, the best you can do is to keep your beliefs to yourself.
2. most of the sub knows about islam more than muslims themselves.
3. it is not like we left islam because we were uneducated.
Homie, we want some TRUTH. You bring us that and we will not only listen but reply.
Kid you would show more maturity and bravery if you started asking questions to the members of this community instead of acting like you could answer ours.
I hope all the others gave YOU food for thought...
