I like how the one guy disbelieves that ceaser would roll dice to make a decision when at the time they were still sacrificing goats on the regular to determine the best day to begin an assault.

mylifeisatrainwrec

What class would ceaser be though

Ellorghast

I once heard an anecdote that upon becoming emperor, Augustus had all copies of Caesar's poetry burned, because it was so terribly written that he was worried it would sully Caesar's memory. Having read *De Bello Gallico*, I completely believe it. So, probably not anything Charisma-based, is what I'm saying.

Brodimere

Terrible poetry sure, but the guy was a smooth talker. At least according to his kidnappers.

Tangodragondrake

Cesar besides being emperor politician and general was also the most powerful priest in Rome Soo war cleric although I am sure there is some charisma based class involved

I love how the guy's title has a mistake in the quoted text. It's alea jacta est. Come on ! Does nobody reread their posts ?

Peritract

The Latin alphabet Caesar used didn't have a 'j'; 'i' was used for the 'yah' sound at the start of 'iacta'. Writing 'iacta' as 'jacta' is a [later convention](https://medium.com/in-medias-res/theres-no-j-in-latin-your-holiness-5a331c3f7a06), rather than 'correct'. The quoted post uses the later convention, but the quoting post prefers the original form; it's not a mistake, it's an (arguably more correct/[standard](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alea_iacta_est)) choice.

Well, I learned something today. Thank you

Peritract

You're very welcome; alphabets are fun!
