I don't understand the objectives of this team. I can't even tell what is system and what isn't anymore. Why are we always trying to play this loop the puck around the boards thing if no one is ever covering the far side? Why do we lackadaisically pass the puck around behind the net so much which results in turnovers (on both ends?) I hate that we are one of the few teams that plays really passively on defense and kills. And forechecking looks more like a bunch of 9 year olds ball chasing in rec soccer. There's like...zero foresight? I don't know how to describe it but it's been pissing me off for a couple years now. Just a bunch of little things that absolutely kill the team Edit: it feels like whenever we're in the offensive zone, everyone stacks up on whatever side of the ice the puck is on.
