My Titan cleared it without doing half the encounters (ran past enemies when she could) and she had no issue. MY Hunter did the same but the barrier wouldn't go down, so I thought I was going too fast and did every encounter and it worked for him.
Slowed way down on my Warlock, killed every enemy and the barrier refuses to go down for her. Closed the game and am verifying the files now. Like what the hell?

Update: restarted my game, went slowly through the mission, and verified my game files. it's STILL doing this.
Update: I skipped half the encounters just like my titan and it worked! 6 attempts though just to get past that door Bungie, please look into this
I think I fixed it just by leaving to orbit and then going back their is a checkpoint so it will fix it
I restarted the game and verified the files, it didn't work. Also there's no checkpoints for empire hunts.
