You already reinstalled all files and programs? Were there a file that you only copied?
None, comlpetely fresh install of Windows from original DVD (win 7) then upgrade to win10 via Microsoft and downloaded Steam, Nvidia Drivers and Discord from official websites. Didn't download anything else. Installed all games via Steam. Didn't save any files or bring anything to this SSD from anywhere else
Did you run integrity check on DS3? Could be something like a missing file even though Steam should have downloaded all. Happened to me once.
Did a verification twice. Is an integrity check a different thing?
The same, just two different words for it.
Hard to tell. Does it happen with other games too?
Apart from DS3 I only have Dota, Apex and Tekken installed. None of them crash
did you ever got it fixed?
I kinda did, yes! Turned out it wasn't just Dark Souls but most single-player games (as opposed to online games like Dota 2). I had my 760 gtx overclocked from the start when I bough it and I didn't even know it. What I did: Downloaded MSI Afterburner and set "Core Clock" and "Memory Clock to -50 each. Yes, "minus 50". It's right on the main screen. Now I always have it on whenever I play anything with those values active.
I Just came back to ds3 aswell on ps4 and having same game crash/boots to main menu whenever i try play online 😤, no answers anywhere either.
