That's just some reflection/distortion on the background. Look closer and you'll see the blade is slightly angled in the pic, making it seem that way at first glance

The second picture is a choil shot without the handle on yet. The “bent” part is the edge of the blade, it looks bent cause of the angel of the camera.

This kinda displays everything I’ve been working on lately…more interesting steel design, new handle materials and shapes, and an over all better product. I think I can always be better so have keep challenging myself. Blade: 9.25inx2in Steel: 1084, 15n20, and nickel Hrc:61 Handle: g10, brass, and fossilized mammoth tusk.

Is that cladding at the edge or is all of it hardened?

The “cladding” is really just the denser layers along the spine. The edge is a mix of 1084 and 15n20, they heat treat almost identically.
