you probably have already been told this but one of my biggest fears is getting lost in the wilderness and only wearing camo and earthy colors. especially being on a expedition in snow it would be hard to start a fire for signal smoke and such. i would suggest bringing like a signal flag or something. just some food for thought and im sure you’ve probably been told that before. safe travels!
You are absolutely right! I’m only going to wear those as shells once I spot the wildlife I want to photograph. I’m always carrying a Garmin 66i and I’m never too far from my pulk with food and hot water in it. I also carry an emergency shelter with me at all times!
Yes! Just spending more time with the musk ox (I photographed them last year) without disturbing them and hopefully ptarmigans, which I only saw once last year
