How many signs do we need?

Came for this.
I second this, that's why I came here.
Ordnungsamt: *Did I fucking stutter?*
A sign saying **HIER NIX PARKEN DU ARSCHLOCH** would be much more effective in some areas
Germans like rules and procedures.
Germans like their Verbots.
So the Greens are the most German party of them all!
To me the real Verbotspartei is CDU. They fought for decades to keep the ban on homosexual acts – something that literally is nobody else‘s business.
While gay marriage was introduced under Merkel’s reign.
But it’s something different to keep old Verbote (even if unreasonably) or to invent new ones.
The latter is definitely the Green’s specialty.
A gay man fucking another gay man hurts nobody. A vehicle, factory or meat farm fucking up the climate and local air quality hurts all of us. So yeah, they‘re different.
You also know as well as me that Merkel did this under immense public pressure. She even voted against, as did 225 of the 300 CDU/CSU MdBs.
It’s not about the content or alleged reasoning behind those means here.
Just that the Greens prefer to decide what’s best for everyone else and force them to follow their leadership by the usage of Verboten.
Thats called a government dude. If you don't like the Greens way of deciding whats best for the people, vote someone else. Democracy you know?
Governments have many means to achieve political goals.
The more liberal, the less Verbote.
The more authoritative, the more Verbote.
But sure, authoritative governments usually got voted democratically, that’s a historic fact.
Are you saying the socially and economically pretty liberal Green party is somehow planning to overthrow the German government and install a dictatorship?
It was introduced **AGAINST** her reign.
How sad my dude. Even when there is no talk of politics in sight you have to come spew your unwanted opinions. Do you have nothing going on in your life except lurk in this subreddit waiting for the smallest opportunity to comment some nonsense?
>no talk of politics
Sure, I get it.
Making fun of German customs is woke, making fun of political parties left of the SPD is taboo.
Sounds comprehensible from your point of view.
Yes, this is exactly what's going on here. Congratulations you've achieved victim status again like a true rightwing agitator.
There is nothing left of the SPD ... Pun intended!
No, seriously. When the NPD broke away Party took a step right. Basically the Green/Left Party is the new SPD and the SPD is the new CDU.
So basically electing anything else other than AFD would be a welcomed change to this NSPDU bullshit that has been going on for what? 12 Years?
Problem is, both SPD and CDU moved closer to the middle and abandoned major parts of what defined them before.
As you said, SPD made room for LINKE and Greens, while CDU created and strengthened the AfD as a result.
It’s been 16 years under Merkel’s reign now.
20 years of SPD in Berlin, of which 15 had been leftist-only coalitions.
All of them.
The most interesting thing about the photo ist, that it is a Fahrradstraße without exceptions. You are not allowed to drive a car to the Halteverbot.
That's sadly a common missconception.
Really nobody knows what Fahrradstraße means. To be fair, all the Fahrradstraßen I know have an extra sign that allows Anlieger (mostly people living there) to drive the street.
Also Weidenweg is allowed for Anlieger, they just forgot the extra sign in the photo.
yes, right next Rosengarten
Weil Autofahrer halt einfach nur dumm sind und daran erinnert werden müssen, dass Radwege keine Parkplätze sind. :)
Q: How many signs do we need?
A: How many you got?
There's a German expression describing this: Schilderwald (m. = Forest of signs)
Highlighter pen in real life
Service provider, instructed to "place signs as needed", is paid per sign and hour.
And it's still cheaper than an on-site-inspection by the Amt to determine what is needed.
Well, given that some people in cars do what they want anyways. Can't be enough. :D
But is this some kind of protest? It is "Halteverbot"-signs all along the bicycle lane. If that is a protest, it is a clever one.
You’re absolutely right. I live near a 30km/h speed limit road and 90% just race it. I‘d love to remind them with more signs. Because telling the police didn’t work. Probably afraid to catch their colleagues.
I think there are some sings missing so it should be many more
I don't know about the amount of signs, but they're definitely in a wrong order. There is START, START, END, MIDDLE, MIDDLE, START, END, END.
Doesn't make a lot of sense.
The end signs all have different hours when active, so continuation signs do make sense.
It still drags on for a few meters
At least twice more. I'm talking about just the bare minimum, y'know?
sooo....am I allowed to park there or nah?
Your guess is as good as anyone else's. In doubt just roll a dice of flip a coin.
As many as it takes.
I think they left some spaces out the need to be filled probably with speed traps
Way more then thats!
That’s like in the US
1 for each resident.
Ordnungsamt is tired of your shit
At least one of them is wrong - the one without arrows marks the beginning of a Haltverbot, but it already has begun.
In this city? More than that. It's like the fucking drivers don't know what they mean.
I call this “Blitzkrieg Logic”. Throw numbers at the problem and hope that it will overwhelm people into compliance.
It’s such a stupid system, and the signs go up seemingly for anything. I’ve had my car towed 4 times in the last year due to these things going up only 3-4 days before the date on the sign.
Apparently more. When you put up signs to block a small section for a moving truck people just ignore it or don’t see it
It's Berlin....So every sign is an irreplaceble part of a well oiled machine 😤
Bürokratie in Reinform
*parks there anyway
