Me when I thought the Pirates would fall in the draft lottery: I hate the draft lottery
When the Pirates win the draft lottery: WTF I love the draft lottery
Crews is such a no brainer to take:
1. It will fuck with other announcers when the Pirates have both Cruz and Crews
2. Reynolds is leaving and the Pirates have no top OF prospects to replace him
From what I remember, this draft has 2 terrific prospects at the top (Dollander and Crews) that both fill needs for the Pirates, but I really want them to go Crews.
Forgot about him! The others are memorable for being really bad (Bullington), really good (Cole), really average (King, career OPS+ of 99, with an 80-grade mustache), and having a hot/insane wife (Benson). Davis hasn’t really made his mark yet.
Tbh I think the Twins won most. Led the division for most of the year, fell out with major injuries in September, and end up with a top 5 pick. Major W
As a Reds fan I’m about done with baseball. The franchise is a dumpster fire. They lose 100 games for only the 3rd time in franchise history and end up with the 7th pick. The ownership group has traded every veteran player except Votto and Moose, because they are untradeable at this point, and is slashing the payroll like the team is a mattress store going out of business.
I have been a die hard Reds fan for 34 years (I am 39), I am really struggling to pay attention to the team at this point. Just really really sad. It’s the only word I have at this point to describe it. Sad.
13th? The hell? How many teams were tanking last season? I guess we ended the season. 16-6 or something obnoxious and probably lost like mad lotto position.

2022 DRAFT LOTTERY / MARBLE RACE CHAMPIONS
Damn. Pirates have all the luck.
Can the Knicks get some of that luck one day pls?
not so fast they havent even won their division yet
What are the chances you guys don’t take Crews? I need hope
Bob Nutting: “Lesson learned, tank forever!”

You should know pittsburgh has lottery luck
Drafting Crosby was all skill
We won something!
We gonna win the Marbles too don't you worry.
Crewsssssss

What do you want for Reynolds?
Miller as the centerpiece. Maybe I'd be greedy and ask for Pages and Miller, but Miller is the really important piece.
Pirates should hang a banner next season
Unless you know a guy that can cut us a deal on a banner, we probably won't have the budget for it.
Banners... flags... aren't those kind of your thing? ...just always assumed you guys would have a flag guy on speed dial
Pfft, that costs money my AL stocking contemporary.
Our AAA team is Indianapolis, after all.
You know I think I like the old format better
How is this determined again? It’s not by marble race, is it?
it should be, would get more viewers
I’ll take this
Raise the jolly roger!
Whoever the Buccos pick will join Jeff King, Kris Benson, Bryan Bullington, and Gerrit Cole in the Pittsburgh Pirates 1st Overall Club.
You missed Henry Davis.
Forgot about him! The others are memorable for being really bad (Bullington), really good (Cole), really average (King, career OPS+ of 99, with an 80-grade mustache), and having a hot/insane wife (Benson). Davis hasn’t really made his mark yet.
The 90s and 00s GMs were honestly on a whole other level of incompetent, its wild.
Loved Jeff King. I remember his sweet mustache as a kid.
My flair on /r/buccos is literally "Jeff King's Mustache." That thing *was* the Pirates to me growing up.

Inverse timberwolves lottery luck
Hey we did move up to get Ant lol
Definitely. Did you see the Twins scout when he got skipped? They guy had the biggest grin on his face.
I didn’t! I need the video
LOL
RIP A’s fans
Good for the chosen one, Pirates have good farm system... The problem is making the player stay there after the debut...
That’s the problem?
Boy I wonder what team that pick will end on when he hits free agency.
I want to be mad but it's hard to argue with facts.
Pittsburg winning a draft lottery, where have I heard this before?
This lottery is so stupid.

*I'm in danger*
Oh no wonder they’re a top 5 team
Finally, we're #1!
He’s gonna want out in 4 years
Good for them
BART
Buccoosssss!
Really thought we had this one, we were given better odds than we're used to.

It's fucken rigged against Oakland. Congrats, Pittsburgh
