[Adler] Gerrit Cole left with “left hamstring tightness."
By - FrostBestGirl
At least it wasn't general soreness.
Kyle Farnsworth would throw Gerrit Cole back onto the field at 104 mph
o7 Major Contusion reporting for duty General
Or private itching
Ok so worse than a blister, which is what a lot of people thought. But much better than something arm/elbow/shoulder related.
If it was a minor or normal blister, yeah this is worse, but in the worst case scenario blisters can really fuck with pitchers for a long time. I'm mostly trying to look on the bright side that it's something that has nothing to do with his arm or hand.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Aaron Sanchez? It's not a story the jedi would tell you
Blisters are such a clusterfuck, they could be nothing at all or completely debilitating to a pitcher's feel for months. Don't think this will be either of those things, so I don't really know how to feel.
I'm also an accountant not a doctor so what the fuck do I know.
Not even necessarily worse than a blister.
True, if it's just a cramp or something, no big deal.
Congrats to Robbie Ray on the 2021 AL Cy Young Award AKA the Last Ace Standing Award
I went on a few different sportsbooks to see if I could bet on Ray to win the Cy Young after I saw Cole left the game, but the odds were already taken off the board for that bet by the time I checked.
Good news: not an arm issue
Bad news. Will likely miss a few weeks
Aka, "don't want to face the Jays anymore".
Well it could be worse
It’s not his arm so I see this as an absolute win
*chuckles* i'm in danger
We’re not talking about Matt Barnes. He was probably using something given his collapse
Have you ever considered connecting with David Ortiz to get to the bottom of the steroids issue?
Not his arm so that’s good news in the long term.
Still not great for the 2021 Yankees
Boone tomorrow probably: we just felt like he needed a little rest. He should be back within 2-3 years after three major surgeries.
2021 baseball and wrecking hamstrings. Name a more iconic duo.
