college baseball is great. planning to go to the cws for the first time this year

I think the issues people have with college ball over WBC is that they don't know any of the players WBC is players we already know in an unfamiliar situation. It's like the all star game. At worst it's players we know on teams with guys we don't, but then it's like Ohtani and his friends so we care.
