**MY GOD, I WILL FIGHT ANY MOTHER FUCKER WHO SAY IT AIN'T AMAZING! THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES OF BASEBALL I HAVE WITNESSED. WHAT IS HYPE MAY NEVER DIE**
Japan has been my second favorite team to watch after my boys, but I was all for Mexico. Randy has made me the biggest fan. Dude play his heart out and the whole team of Mexico. Going to miss having my Mexican friends text “quien es el negrito?”, because they are watching baseball for the first time.
I was hopeful since they beat USA and then became a believer after Puerto Rico. They were such a fun team to watch. I love that so many Mexicans are going to become baseball fans. Especially Rays. Randy deserves all the love. I might buy his jersey even though I’m a Cleveland fan.
IIRC, Yu Chang won his pool's MVP even though Taiwan didn't advance past pool play. I wouldn't be opposed to giving Randy MVP because dude has been playing out of his fucking mind.
If you watched the last three or four innings, Japan was absolutely massacring the ball but failing to follow through
A common theme this WBC, I mean we’re basically King LOBster
Hope that doesn’t happen tomorrow
Ladies and gentlemen, to all our millions of fans:
Tomorrow, 590 days since the Olympic Gold Medal game in Yokohama, and around six years after that semifinal victory in Los Angeles, Japan and the United States, two of the oldest baseball playing nations of the world, are meeting again.
TOMORROW, at iconic LoanDepot Park, a rivalry lasting for many years will return once more. This time, for the championship in the 5th World Baseball Classic.
A rivalry that has stretched over the years between two countries and two national leagues, that has extended even to international competitions, first, in the IBAF Worlds, then in the WBSC Worlds, and international matches and other events, which evolved into the greatest international baseball rivalry once it was featured, twice, in the Olympics and the WBC, and later on in the WBSC Premier12.
Now this rivalry has been reignited once more.
This is a matchup we've all waited. All to avenge the WBC team of 2009 and the Olympians of 1984 and 2021. As one nation we've marched on this journey before, and we will win again.
Fellow fans and supporters of Team USA Baseball, 45 years after its foundation and almost a century since our national team's journey started, the time has come once more, to unite no matter where we are, to rally around our flag, and the players who are ready not just to defend the victories of 2017, but also to give this nation its second gold medal and championship in the World Baseball Classic. Let us once more put our trust in this team, its manager Mark DeRosa, its coaches and players, who are ready to stand up for this nation once more.
Thank you all for helping Team USA reach to this point, for helping to show the world that this is our sport and it is the greatest duty of any American baseball player to suit up in any international competition for this country, the homeland and cradle of this, our pasttime. We've proven the haters wrong, and have showed the fans around the world that this sport has been a part of the culture of this nation for 177 years and we are ready to risk all to defend this birthright, the one that has given the world many of the greatest players in our sport's history.
Tomorrow, March 21, 2023, six years to the day the nation won it all, we are ready to do it AGAIN.
Make no mistake, ladies and gentlemen. We are second to none, and we will run this race till the finish as one nation!
Because we are the United States of America, and we are Team USA Baseball,
and for Our Pasttime's Future and Yours, WE PLAY LOOOUUDD
# For Glory!!!
John
I haven’t checked where the championship is being played yet, but unless its over in Japan, it seems like a massive advantage for the US to have an off day with no travel. Japan’s about to have to hop on a flight and go play across the world in a few hours.
HOLY FUCK MURAKAMI REDEMPTION ARC
LITERALLY JAPANESE TWITTER WAS ON HIS ASS UNTIL THAT LMAO
Ohtani vs trout gonna be nuts!
I’d like to know how Angels fans feel now
How about half american half japanese from Anaheim? Im dead inside
You are guaranteed to win!
But at what cost?
Angel pitching
Being an angels fan
Win lose or draw at least you're having fun.
Yes
Feeling pretty good hbu
If ohtani doesn't pitch to trout, we're burning down everything right?
#WHO THE FUCK SAID WBC AIN'T AMAZING? THAT WAS FUCKING GLORIOUS

I’m not going to lie, Mexico made a believer of me. And they fought so hard in an absolute thriller tonight against a talented Japanese team

I’m a crying mess right now. No matter what happens tomorrow I’m a proud Team Japan fan forever :)
WBC is not exhibition Baseball! It’s the World Series in my book.
Mlb is there just to prepare players for WBC
It’s the Olympics of baseball I mean there is also the Olympics but this is even better
Finale is gonna be fun. Baseball <3

All those people bitching about Japan facing a weak pool Why don't you weakly pool on deez nuts
Man I wanted another shot at them, but the ending of this was worth it.
The only thing that might break the friendliness and resolve of Japanese fans is getting hit in the face with a cup full of piss
Lol. Just remember one our worst rosters of the decade is as good as one of the best rosters of the decade for y’all lol.
I THINK I SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTED WHEN SHOHEI GOT EXCITED
Viva la Samurai
Hot take: the MF Randy should still win WBC MVP
Definitely team of the tournament, but hard to go against Turner or Ohtani depending on who wins.
Or Yoshida, he has broken the record of most RBIs in a single WBC tourney at 13 now
Very hot
IIRC, Yu Chang won his pool's MVP even though Taiwan didn't advance past pool play. I wouldn't be opposed to giving Randy MVP because dude has been playing out of his fucking mind.
Sizzlingly hot take — but I ain’t against it
still no chance Ohtani pitches right? not even for just one batter? one specific batter
Hahaha nah not happening dude I’m sorry Best we can do is Yu-Trout
Trout vs Ohtani. The only way an angels player wins a championship is to have one on each side.
“wBc dOeSNt MaTtEr!!1!” TO WHOEVER BOZO SAID THIS GET FUCKED
A- Fucking- Men
What a clutch 9th inning from Japan - can't wait for the final!
If you watched the last three or four innings, Japan was absolutely massacring the ball but failing to follow through A common theme this WBC, I mean we’re basically King LOBster Hope that doesn’t happen tomorrow
“Meaningless exhibition”
What a game.
What a game!
GG Japan, you guys fought till the end. It was an amazing game. Good luck against USA
They should move this to Fox network over fs1

GOD BLESS AMERICA 🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅 Mixing my unhealthy baseball obsession with unbridled patriotism just gets me feeling some type of way
The finale we always wanted: Guile vs Ryu.
What a game. We saw Anime Power. Best game in this tournament
You could feel that one coming...
#Knock Knock. #It's the United States.
With huge boats. With guns. Gunboats

The semis and finals are both in Miami.
Japan is so overrated lol. USA would beat them every year if they sent their best. DR too.
The DR did send their best though...
I’m talking about like a series. In baseball anything can’t happen with one gameS
How you saying that with that flair ?
Bc that’s my favorite team from there
I hear this shit from you guys every WBC Insurance for when you lose I guess
yoshida!
