Smart parents, for teaching this to their kid

Flashy_Play_9710

Bullshit, according to science she is 70% water. That's all.

W1ngedSentinel

Better a short-lived chunk of carbon and water than an eternal ass-kissing slave of a soul!

QueefMeUpDaddy

As a parent I can safely theorize that the other 30% is probably farts. Definitely farts.

Rather be water than dirt or rib.

MisterOnsepatro

She must have great parents that's based

Joseph-907

Religious primates spew nonsense 🙄

MetaEd

not religion, but a specific one - Christian sects that teach "original sin" there were healthy Christian reactions to this doctrine, such as Universalism. Other non-Christian religions (such as Buddhism) also do not teach this.

youareallnuts

All religions teach that you are flawed and damaged and so you need god/faith/enlightenment. It is so basic to religion people often forget that it is fundamental and implied if not stated. As far religions that rely on karma, the fundamental believe is that you are only still incarnate because you are flawed and must "pay" for past deeds.

Soggy-Statistician88

The core message of Christianity is that we are God's special people

youareallnuts

And flawed or else Jesus wouldn't need to redeem you. Besides you should read your bible; the Jews are god's chosen people. You really should learn your own religion before you speak.

Soggy-Statistician88

It's not my religion. Also genesis says that the earth was created for humanity and that humans are in control. The whole point of free will is that it allows us to make mistakes. Please note that this isn't my view, just what I'm taught in RE about Catholicism

youareallnuts

Your education sucks then. Just about everything you said is wrong.

Soggy-Statistician88

It's RE. It's all wrong...

sabobedhuffy

I went to catholic school. This was not their take from the old testament, and their main focus was the New testament and the teachings of Jesus/worship of Mary for bearing the son of god.

Soggy-Statistician88

We did some lessons about creations about creation, and the main focus was that the earth was created for humans. Weirdly we haven't done much focusing on the new Testament

AlexKewl

All Christians teach their kids that they are deserving of eternal torture

NinjaGamer22YT

Most, maybe, but definitely not all. There are definitely a more than zero amount of universalist christians, and a fair amount of annihilationists.
