Definitely legit. Bought from them many times

Theangeloficarus

Thank you!

As long as it's actually in stock Zatu is absolutely fine. If you order stuff that's out of stock or on backorder they'll wait till every item is in stock before dispatching anything to save on postage. Obviously this can be problematic with the availability issues. But that's the same with pretty much all stores other than Amazon or whatever. But yeah, I used them for most of my collection with zero issues, including no quibble returns too.

OlMaster

However unlike Amazon, they will charge you when you place the order and not upon dispatch. I have items that I've been waiting on for 9 months even though I'd been charged. I find their 're-stock preorder' a bit of a cop-out tbh, it's clearly a way for them to make more money upfront, I wish they would just go back to standard stock notifications. That aside, they are a decent store. Their customer support is helpful.

gambit_22

I've bought a large part of my AH collection from Zatu, as well as many other games over the years., never had a problem. Highly recommended

Theangeloficarus

Oh perfect! Have you orders any other games with them and have they also been okay?

gambit_22

Yep, think most of my Mansions of Madness stuff was ordered through them. I bought my first AH Core with them because I had used them before. As I say, never had an issue. Never ordered preorder/out of stock stuff but think it's pretty common practice amongst online stores to only ship things in the same order if you order together, it's not like that's not made clear beforehand.

Sass-e-nach

I'll just repeat what others have said, this is a perfectly legit company and I've ordered from them several times without any issues. It takes a couple of days longer than Amazon to arrive and you have to pay for postage (which I don't with Amazon since I'm a Prime member), but it still works out a little cheaper overall. You're not saving huge amounts of money but it's nice to get a bit of a discount, and it feels good to be ordering online while still supporting a smaller company.

Theangeloficarus

Yeah I agree it’s nice to help smaller companies, I ordered the last four dunwich cycle and the blob that ate everything scenario and used the 5% off to cover next day delivery. It arrived really quickly and was really good quality. Many thanks!

I've only ordered things that were in stock from them, but I've never had an issue. Stuff turns up pretty quick and in good condition

SneakyNo2

I've ordered a few games and always been reliable

featherlace

On a related note, does anyone have a clue if you can still order from the EU? I mean, I know you can, but will I have to pay additional fees?

DaveyBoyXXZ

The deal basically means trade in goods should continue as it was before, so I think it will be fine.

featherlace

Cool, thanks. Was kind of hard to follow in the last few weeks.

Jaccident

I’ve spent a few thousand with them over the past few years, including getting my PS5 from there on launch. I couldn’t rate them highly enough. Terrific service and prices.

K1ngsGambit

I've ordered from them multiple times, including lots of Arkham stuffs. They're a great company I can't recommend highly enough. Great prices, quick delivery and their customer service has always been above and beyond. Other reputable e-tailers I've used include Gameslore, BGExtras, Leisure Games, Thirsty Meeples, Firestorm Cards and I've heard good things about Element Games tho haven't used them personally.

Fermentomancer

Element is okay, I think. They're certainly legit, Manchester based I believe. The problem is they have hardly had anything in in stock for the past year and a half (please correct me if I'm wrong, as I would like to change my opinion of them). If you order some of the stuff (Arkham, at least) to be restocked you could be waiting ages since it's a rolling backorder. I ordered Miskatonic from them last year as I was under the impression they were in the process of acquiring new stock, however they would have been better to do what other LGSs do and inform that it is indeed out of stock for the moment. Needless to say I canceled the order, which they were fine about and refunded the money, and got the expansion elsewhere. I have however recently used Black Lion in Edinburgh which had a copy of the, seemingly impossible to acquire in the UK, Unspeakable Oath. That arrived quickly and postage was ridiculously (it made me feel a bit bad about it) cheap. They're quick to respond via Facebook messenger and less so on email (but reliable), and super helpful.

Gayndalf

Zatu has been my go to for a while now. They're usually reliable, their stock is good and their customer service is responsive.

moriartyyaffle

They are very reliable. I buy most of my games from them. As has been said though, separate your pre orders from your main order as otherwise they hold everything until the preorder is ready

Utter bollocks.

Theangeloficarus

Ah okay, I’ll stick with Amazon then it’s only a couple pounds more. Thank you!

becxabillion

If you order anything that's out of stock or on back order the they wait for everything to be in stock before dispatching. If you're ordering things that are in stock then they're great

Theangeloficarus

Oh thank you this was really helpful :)
