Decent point, shouldn't be terribly hard to put up a note on why the sub is shut down, when it will reopen, and where they can go if they have an emergency shaving question.
I'm not often for this kind of thing but in this case the path Reddit has chosen is so egregious I'd be willing to have every sub I'm a member of go dark for two days to send an unequivocal message to the people making these decisions that they can and will lose money if they go forward with this.
idk i'm down but its stupid, 2 days aint gonna do shit to change minds. i just wont use reddit on my phone anymore and less overall, ive always used a third party app on my phone

I'm also in favor. For maximum impact, it would be good if the mods shut down this place for two days, and add our subreddit to the others that go dark.

I vote yes

What’s the freshest B&M scent? I’ve smelled a fair amount of them but wanted some other opinions. My favorite from them is probably Terror, and my favorite scents from other companies are Orbit, Dayman, SoCal Hipster
Synthetic is the way to go. Boars can work well too, but require a bit of breaking in. A good plastic brush holder will keep it separated from your other stuff to keep it dry.
Yes, the others saying to take a synth and dry it well are right.
But, a counterpoint. If you're in the US, Cremo is a brushless cream that actually works really well for me. It's very slick- before I got into soaps I used it every couple days with a DE for 6 years.
Please say no

So new shavers will seek help where? Redirect them to DFS? B&B?

Another place to post my SOTD! Bestill my heart.

I’m in favor of this!

We do have an IRC channel and a Discord server. There's even a Mastadon instance. We could manage if that's what the sub wanted.
I'd vote yes.

What’s the question?

42, Adagio, or Presto.
Honestly Adagio is really refreshing in my opinion. It’s really bright and the menthol adds a cool blast on a hot day.
+1 for waves and cool. Atomic Holiday is quite refreshing and not talked about a lot.
Probably Waves or Cool
Cool.
Oceana?
Oceana+++
Waves is a classic, if you haven't tried it.
I have the hand soap, it’s so good :)
I dislike having to dry my brush when traveling. Any tips of alternatives for building lather without a brush when on the go?
Synths are better for this, however, I often take a crappy generic badger and have it hang out in an unused cup holder if I am on a driving trip.
Synthetic is the way to go. Boars can work well too, but require a bit of breaking in. A good plastic brush holder will keep it separated from your other stuff to keep it dry.
I use Speick cream brushless when traveling. Works great.

Probably use a synth, I've taken a boar brush on my travels and it's fine.
I often just go with a cream when traveling but if i use a brush I go for a small synthetic
Use a synthetic. I smash the living life out of the knot against the towel for 15-20 seconds.
This is the way.
