I think the Dem establishment, which goes beyond the DNC, might want Vaush to tone some stuff down so he isn't used as a weapon by some Republican. I mean before you tell me Vaush is too small, just remember that the Dem establishment and the media spent entire sections of debates attacking random people with no real followers on Twitter who supported Bernie Sanders. That only works if the claims are done under the DMCA. The DMCA is an actual law that sets out a process and has (toothless) penalties for false claims. None of that applies to YouTube's automatic copyright scanning, rules on what you cannot post, or demonization, which are rules Google has set up as the owner of the site.

That was only for false copyright claims, community guidelines strike don't fall under that category and can't really be argued in court. You need to remember that these weren't copyright strikes but warnings that Vaush broke TOS due to brigading from whatever community is after him.
