Drive it. Pay it off. Perform routine maintenance.
Why is this advise always so hard to take for truck owners??
It's not. The vast majority of trucks on the road are left basically stock.
Drive it. I might go with meatier tires but that's about it.
Gonna be pulling a trailer for rodeos come summer. Meatier tires, tint, and exhaust is on my mind right now
Make sure the tires you get are load/tow rated. Many "meaty" tires aren't meant for hauling/towing
1. Black wheels, Fuel/XD!!!
2. Huge tires, WILDPEAKS!!!
3. Huge lift!!!
BTW, the above is all sarcasm, it seems to be the holy trinity of r/Trucks. I think it’s a great looking truck, you may want beefier rubber for your needs, but imo, it looks great. Congrats!
I mean, Wildpeaks are great tires.
Nah it’s more like NITTOS. They aren’t even THAT amazing of performance
Take it on a road trip and enjoy it.
Install the Luverne Prowler Max black steel grille guard.
Without knowing your plans for it the most I'd recommend is a good heavy duty bumper and possibly a winch.
Don’t wanna void the warranty but that is the plan as soon as I can
Cattle guards are always a safe addition. Depending on the kind of trailer, a headache rack might also be nice (plus they look cool as shit.) Personally I think chrome rims look better with these rams rather than black wheels.
A leveling kit and aftermarket wheels/tires is straight forward, doesn't void warranty (I think?) And improves the look.
Do up your whole exhaust system, get a nice tune, tires and a lift. Maybe some new lights
I’d just leave it as it is. There’s enough obnoxiously modded brodozers on the road already.
Besides, it’s a beautiful truck as it is. Why mess with that?
I’m not gonna make it a monster truck. She’s gotta be a work horse and be practical
1000 years from now, a cyber archaeologist will find this comment. He will turn to his partner and say "Sid, I think I found it. I think I found the comment that broke /r/trucks."
Ram makes such an attractive heavy duty to begin with. You can certainly mess with perfection but I wouldn’t.
1- Take it and get your money back!
2- Buy a Chevy! 🤣🤣🤣
Just playin! 🤣 Beautiful Truck! 👍
Just put some bigger tires on it and an cab-high cover. You will thank me later.
Drive it stock for a bit, then find areas for improvement (driving experience or utility)
Travel trailer or toys to haul around. Best upgrades imo is putting the truck to use for fun
Banks power everything.
