Sir this is simply a photo of a murder scene /j

mistermajik2000

Sweeney Todd’s grandpappy

EpiLP60Std

The barber looks like the neighbor on Home Alone 😆

ResidentJesse

It's the snow shovel guy from home alone. Time traveler.

BlazeKnaveII

Why TF is it a backdrop? Did he bring that whole rig and customer to Sears?? Also, looks like Wizard of Oz

ZenCollects

The barber probably did bring all his gear into a photography studio, that's what makes it hilarious to me.

BlazeKnaveII

Wonder if the victim is the photographer's kid or something. Would explain the lack of facial hair.

ZenCollects

That's a very good theory, the barber looks old enough for his client to be his son.

thedingywizard

The kid doesn’t even need a shave!

nipplequeefs

This reminds me of when I went to private school and the guys couldn’t even have stubble without a teacher telling them they had to shave their faces again

puppydog28

I love mount pleasant! thanks for sharing

eatyourdamndinner

Do you know the source? To me, this looks a LOT like a memento mori photo. The backdrop, the eyes of the guy in the chair.

jetpackblues_

I initially thought the same thing! After some research though I found that the man in the chair is named Parley Fullmer, and he died in 1931. The photographer’s name is George Edward Anderson and he had a photography tent with this backdrop that he traveled around Utah with.

ZenCollects

There's no way someone has this little taste. This is more likely an occupational photo, showing off someone's profession. The only thing I know for sure is that everyone in this photo was alive when it was taken. It does kinda irk me when people think every Victorian era photograph is a memento mori photo, as if you're unsure it's one, 99.999% of the time, it's not. I mean no offense to you though.

Blankcarbon

Doth he have the golden helmet of mambrino?

Realtrain

The barber looks incredibly nervous that he's been documented here

vermillion_fire

Charles Darwin was a barber ?

Sarcastic_Troll

Is that guy's torso wrapped so he can't use his arms, or is his arm supposed to be gone there? Just a bad pic making it look like he's missing an alarm?

DaintyAmber

You sure he doesn't push a snow shovel in Home Alone ?
