King-lord-of-demons

I totally don't!

Reylend

(points a laser) then whats the elusive dot doing here?

King-lord-of-demons

Ooh, a small prey. *charges at dot.*

Reylend

(The dot evades!)

King-lord-of-demons

*dashes around the room chasing It.* stop running from the Inevitable red dot!

Reylend

u/realowllady EDA COME LOOK AT THIS!!! (continues to move laser)

realowllady

Oh, how very entertaining. I’m gonna need one of these dots.

Reylend

Here i brought 2, you can have one for free, and you'll also need some batteries every now and then. Remember when Luz powered the box with the man in it? Yeah you'll need more of those or something to give power

King-lord-of-demons

It Is a suprisingly nimble prey, but I shall catch It one day.

PPSTICKX

King-lord-of-demons

grifff17

I think this is really interesting and you make a lot of good points, but have you considered that this may have already happened offscreen? I think an alternative perspective may elevate your viewpoint(is this 100 words yet?).

King-lord-of-demons

Apperently my father had wings, so, maybe It's just the hope talking, but I believe a episode will be dedicated to me getting wings.

realowllady

Dear titan. You? Flying? You’re already a handful on the ground!

King-lord-of-demons

I will rule the land and sky!... now I just need gills and heatproofing....

The_Echo_Mouse_Knows

King, you being able to survive fire would be more catastrophic than telling Amity arson is legal.

PPSTICKX

C+, I need more elaboration, what does it mean to you to grow out your wings and your identity!

King-lord-of-demons

...It'd be amazing to be able to fly, and know more myself.

PPSTICKX

Is that all you have to say Mr. Clawthorne?

King-lord-of-demons

.....yeah I suppose.

PPSTICKX

B-, cause you’re adorable King. I want to see more studying out of you thought for our next session!

King-lord-of-demons

......I don't want points for being "adorable."...... okay...

JustNoSleep2112

"Whenever a public phone rings, a Demon Lord gets its wings." I wouldn't hold my breath.

King-lord-of-demons

Tha-that's how It works?

JustNoSleep2112

I may not have the quote exactly right.

King-lord-of-demons

....I thought It was based on physical devopment...

JustNoSleep2112

Or I may have gotten the quote completely wrong, and on an entirely different subject.

Nuppa_Nuppa07

Oh my- you are becoming spike from mlp aren't you-

King-lord-of-demons

....perhaps...

Nuppa_Nuppa07

I could see you two getting along

King-lord-of-demons

Really?

Nuppa_Nuppa07

Kind of, yeah, you both have a lot to bond over, and I think you two would balance each other out as you also have a lot of opposing qualities. Overall I think it would be interesting to see how you two would interact

1milionand6times

Raine could serve as a parental figure to Hunter, helping him deal trauma from Belos, these things. Like, think about it, the leader of the rebellion and the left hand of the Emperor could generate great interactions and a lot of character growth. Not to mention, I really want to see them interact in general.

PPSTICKX

Solid point, could definitely see that. B+

The Owl Gang plays d&d, I saw a post like this a while ago so I'm putting my own spin on it. The campaign Amity (as DM) decides to run is of her own making, about a strange world where giraffes eat grass off of non-toxic trees, people don't get harassed by onions while they cut them, and you don't have to worry about shapeshifting demons that grow stronger off of fear... BUT the only problem with this world is that King doesn't admit to being cute. Everyone tries to run more investigation or persuasion focused characters to be able to play more to the campaign, with the following results. Luz runs a college of Lore half elf bard who studies old stories to make convincing arguments in the present or to figure out the future. Her character loves uncovering past secrets and sharing them with others, but sometimes isn't great about knowing limits. Eda is a changeling rogue thief who's got a knack for both getting in and out of tight spots. She infiltrates high security settings to gain access to certain things others wouldn't be able to, although she sometimes blows her cover when she gets overly worked up. Gus is a charming human illusion wizard with a talent for figuring out the perfect way to distract any potential opponents. He enjoys settling arguments not through brute force but through tricking the offender and either running away or letting someone else finish out the fight from there. However, at times he thinks a bit too much before making a decision about what to do. King plays a huge, menacing tiefling paladin of the oath of conquest, seeking nothing but the subjugation of his enemies. He loves crushing his foes, sometimes a little too much... so when the other PC's at the table reveal what the actual campaign is, you can see why he'd struggle in not settling these disputes via PVP. Throughout the campaign, several other people join in temporarily, including hunter, an edgy aasimar fey warlock who likes pushing buttons of the enemy and Willow, who plays a friendly harengon circle of the shepherd druid. Even when someone goes a little too far with ribbing King, everyone still has fun and when someone's feelings get hurt everyone stops to amend whatever harm was done and they all continue to have fun.

[deleted]

During this summer, I watched several shows, including the Owl House and Avatar The Last Airbender. I was struck by ATLA’s expansive worldbuilding and The Owl House’s charming characters. One thing I noticed was that people online tended to draw parallels between the two shows, mainly between Zuko and Hunter, as well as Amity and Katara-and as I’m writing, it occurred to me that Luz and Aang are similar as well. I decided to analyze their similarities and differences because I have nothing better to do with my life. First off, Luz and Aang. Both are obviously cheery to an odd degree; both flee their homes and end up in a different world of sorts; and of course, both are the main characters in their stories and attract a large number of allies. One of the main differences, though, is how their roles in their respective shows are reversed: While Aang, being the Avatar, is revered and respected by most people, barring the Fire Nation, Luz deals with derision for being a weirdo in the world of humans, and human in the world of witches, and her magical ability is often questioned. Instead of being naturally gifted, like Aang, who masters all the main forms of bending in a year (Which is inhumanly fast in the world of ATLA), Luz falls behind her peers and must resort to archaic, alternate forms of magic, as well as her own wits. Next up is Amity and Katara, who are easy to compare. They have the same voice actor, Mae Whitman, and Amity’s use of her Abomination in combat is basically copy-and-pasted waterbending from ATLA, an obvious nod to Mae’s previous role. While they have some character traits in common (read: falling in love with the main character), I find she has more in common with Zuko. Like Zuko, she was born under highly successful, overbearing parents (well, one in particular) and was pressured into becoming skilled at magic/fire-bending. Both she and Zuko initially hate the peppy protagonist but come to see them as friends (and in Amity’s case even more than a friend :). And that leads to the most prevalent comparisons of the bunch: Hunter and Zuko. Like Zuko, Hunter has a father figure that’s royalty, is determined to impress him no matter what (and a belief that failure to do so makes them worthless) and has been brainwashed into believing what that father figure says and does are right. He’s also got a nice facial scar. What I’ve noticed is that while Zuko and Hunter are foils for the main characters, Zuko’s differences with Aang are the focus in their relationship, while Hunter and Luz’s similarities are the focus of theirs. While during childhood, Aang was loved and appreciated by his teachers for being a prodigy and a delightful child, Zuko was overshadowed by another prodigy: his sister, Azula. When Aang and Zuko finally meet, Aang is a cheerful youth while Zuko is an angsty, angry teenager. Hunter, on the other hand, has a father figure that, for all his faults, seems to care about him. Like Luz, Hunter has an inability to perform typical magic and relies on artificial forms. Hunter’s missing front tooth gives him a somewhat childlike appearance, while Luz can be immature at times. In the episode Hunting Palismen, when Hunter’s facial design is shown for the first time, the show is not subtle in how it highlights Luz and Hunter’s similar athleticism and resourcefulness, as well as their shared passion for wild magic (besides the fact that this is not only unnecessary for Hunter to use magic, but is discouraged by Belos, Hunter’s father figure, possibly hinting in a shared obsession for all things weird with Luz). Oh, and you can’t forget the Golden Guard’s distinguishing trait: His priceless sass, which Luz also has in abundance. (I demand at least a B+ for this.)

PPSTICKX

A, Almost an A+, Love your points, just a bit more focus on the similarities between Luz & Hunter. Otherwise, EXCELLENT job. :) Students better look out.

drakonis_31

!!!MASSIVE SPOILERS!!! In the latest episode when Luz is in the inbetween you can hear a bunch of whispers, some sounding like "STAY HERE", some sounding like "SAVE... US" and a couple in particular that say "LUZ NOCEDA" or just "NOCEDA" (these are my interpretations of very vague whispers you can barely hear so take it with a grain of salt) and I have a theory on where this might go. I think that the titan is trying to reach out to Luz to achieve some motive that we can only speculate on right now. The titan might be trying to convince Luz that Belos is a tyrant and using his powers unjustly and that he must be taken down (which would be really easy to convince someone to do) and then have some sort of big reveal in Belos' throne room, probably related to the giant heart we saw earlier. It's also completely possible that the titans spirit is in the inbetween and that would give him a motive to maybe possess Luz or someone in the show kinda like how Bill Cipher in possessed Dipper and Ford in Gravity Falls. It also might not be the titan, and instead another powerful being like the titan, and while that is a good argument since Luz can't use glyphs in the inbetween, Lilith can still use magic in the human world, shown in the last episode of the first season, plus titans blood being the only thing we know of that can make doors that travel between worlds which, to me, indicates that the titan has some sort of influence over the inbetween, however small, and that's why the titan can talk to Luz in there and might explain why the whispers are so faint. Thanks for reading! All this is highly speculative and there is so much of the show I still don't know about, like the hidden codes, a couple freeze frames when Luz and Amity are looking into Phillips diary and a bunch of other stuff I've probably missed so this theory might evolve when I rewatch again. Edit: thanks for posting that question, it made me think a lot about my theory and evolve it based on new information from my latest rewatch. Also I could do a whole nother post on the likely possibility that the owl house is in the same universe as gravity falls and Amphibia if you want.

PPSTICKX

A! Please elaborate, that is the whole freakin point of being a student here at Hexside U!!!

drakonis_31

*cracks knuckles* ok here we go Elaborating on the theory, the key that had the titans blood in it could've been an exact amount and that's why she got sent to the inbetween instead of the human world, which means she will have multiple more tries and multiple more ventures into the inbetween, and more chances for the titan to try and talk to her. Once he establishes contact with her he will try to build trust and tell her secrets about the island and magic with the promise of it leading to a way back to the human world, Luz is a little skeptical and so ceases communication with the titan. King reunites with his dad and goes through some big character development and his dad tells him tales of when he was the king of demons. This is where it's revealed to the audience that Belos can actually speak with the titan and the titan tells him that Luz has a portal to the human world and Belos is very intrigued by this. Belos sends Hunter, Kikimura, a bunch of guards, a couple coven heads, and a corrupted Raine to take the portal from Luz and the gang. Luz and Amity fight Kiki and Hunter, while King and Eda fight the coven heads, while Hooty takes care of the guards. During this fight Amity is shouting to Hunter Amity: "I trusted you! I believed in you and all you did was hurt me and threaten Luz!" Hunter: "I did what had to be done!" Amity: "I thought you were different but your just the same as Emperor Belos!" Hunter: "I do what has to be done." Amity: *after beating Hunter* "don't you see? He's playing you, he says he has big plans for you but when your no longer useful he will discard you like an old toy." Hunter gets the upper hand, knocking Amity to the ground and fleeing. The gang manages to fight off the guards and coven heads while capturing kiki. Hunter goes back to the castle and apologizes to Belos for his failure and Belos comforts him, saying that Hunter has failed Belos one too many times and attempts to execute Hunter but manages to flee on his palisman staff, flying all the way to the owl house. Hunter: "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. I believed I had to make him proud and that I had to prove myself to him... But now I see there was no pleasing him. I don't expect forgiveness, I just wanted to apologize." Amity: "No! You've betrayed us one too many times now, there is no way we are forgiving you." Luz: *puts hand on Amity's shoulder, walks up to Hunter* "It's ok, you were just confused. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone or make anyone proud other than yourself. I forgive you." Hunter: "thanks Luz" Amity: *pulls Luz back, whispers* "are you sure about this? He's probably just the decoy for an ambush or something" Luz: "I think he's changed. Plus even if he is an ambush we can take em." Amity: *walks up to Hunter* "I'll forgive you but if you EVER hurt Luz again I will put an end to you right there and then." The Owl House gang then takes Hunter in and after a few trust building episodes, and the gang learning that Belos is forcing even more people into covens and petrifying the few that resist, they gather all their allies and plan an attack on the Emperor at his castle for a 3 part finally the day before the day of unity. Part 1: the gang attacks the castle and makes it all the way to the throne room just to see Belos there and Luz takes on Belos with Amity and tells the rest of the party to find the coven heads and stop the day of unity. Eda find Raine slumped over on the ground in the middle of a big room with his head hanging and runs over to him but stops halfway as Raine is getting up, head still hanging. Raine starts slowly walking towards Eda, giggling, and the episode ends as Raine looks up at Eda to reveal his mutilated face with an ear to ear grin. Part 2: the episode starts at a break in the fight between Luz, Belos, and Amity where it is revealed that the day of unity would merge the human realm with the boiling isles. It then goes back to the shot of Raine showing his mutilated face and him then lunging at Eda. Eda is faced with the very really possibility that she might have to kill Raine and she tries her best to hold back. The shot keeps jumping between the 2 fights until a high pitched whistle is heard and Raine turns his head and flees, leaving Eda crying on the floor. The shot then pans to the coven heads all standing around a stone altar and putting their coven necklaces into the slots and the episode ends as the sun rises over the titans skull and the moon meets it to form an eclipse. Part 3: the world's start merging. The fight between Luz, Amity, and Belos has come to a stand still, Luz and Amity are tired, and Belos has dark green goop seeping out of his armour at every seem. Belos laughs and announces that the day of unity has arrived as the ground shakes in both worlds and bits and pieces start to slowly merge, Belos says that there is no point in fighting anymore, but Luz and Amity aren't giving up. Eda joins them to help defeat Belos and, once defeated, his curse overpowers him and he transforms into something resembling the thing King's dad fought in the wall paintings. The camera pans to the rest of the gang as they come in upon the coven heads and a big battle breaks out, in which the gang wins and goes to help Luz and Amity. Luz asks why Belos wants everyone in covens and he reveals that he can control them using the titans will and he is creating an army to conquer all worlds. Luz realizes that the emperor was a pawn this whole time and that the titan was going to make his own army just as Belos starts chanting and gets possessed by the titan himself. The ensuing fight is tough but Hunter realizes that the heart in the throne room is the titans heart and goes to destroy it. Once it is destroyed the titans control on everyone is lifted and Belos lays on the floor huffing and swears he will have his revenge. The gang tries to console him but he is too far gone and they banish him to the inbetween. The merged worlds live together after the final battle. Wow 3 hours later. Um I don't know what happened there I just sorta started typing and didn't stop. Everything after hunter joins the group is more of a fanfic but eh. I suppose I didn't really elaborate so I'll explain why I think some things might happen. I think that King's dad was the king of demons at some point mainly because we have no other explanation for the wall paintings and why king was born on a secluded island that few knew about. I think hunter will eventually switch sides because he is kinda like a parallel of Amity in season 1, starting bad and getting better with each encounter with the gang. I didn't know what Kiki's deal is but she had to fit somewhere so prisoner it is. I dont think that Eda and Raine will fight but, that's what fanfics are for. I said that the worlds will merge on the day of unity because I can't think of anything else. The day that the worlds unite? The day that Belos and the titan unite into 1 for a big bad boss? The day that Gustalomule unites? Idk. I do also want to talk about my prediction for Belos' curse. I haven't seen a lot of good theories on what Belos' curse is and my best guess is something like what we saw in the paintings in kings castle however this is all a big guess and just makes for fanfic fodder atm. Sorry for the wall of text, I tried to break it up as best as I could and I hope you enjoy! Edit: added spacing to dialogue. Also Luz's palisman will be an otter for obvious reasons.

MasterCaster2000

The Titan is the true villain if the Owl House and it has been playing everyone including Belos like a bunch of saps. So to elaborate, maybe Belos is right about the Titan not wanting its magic mistreated but also wrong about it too because the Titan really wants NO ONE using its magic. So seeing how Belos is an imposing figure, the Titan began to "speak" with him and gave him orders. Eventually the Titan will reveal its true goal and betray Belos and somehow find a way to fully resurrect so it can rule both the Isles and the Human Realm forever.

The ending of Season 2 would end in PAIN. And I see it in a way similar to Amphibia. These are 2 possible ways it would end. 1. Luz forcefully gets transferred back to Earth and now has to find a way back to The Boiling Isles with the help of Camilla and Vee. 2. Luz dies and her body is captured by The Emperor to be used as a vessel for the Titan for the Day Of Unity and it’s up to The Owl gang to save her.

If I think of more, I'll update. Amphibia is the demon realm, so the Calamity Girls could've ended up in the boiling isles. Just like that, Phillip could've ended up in Amphibia. Here's my theory: Magic has the ability to teleport (as you can see in the illusion coven). Titan's blood has magic in it, still working because it has to get to the heart, but it doesn't matter how it gets there. It also has another part, that witches don't have, which reinforces the teleport part, making the titans able to travel in between realms. The Calamity Box has this reinforced magic in it, which lasts so long because it gets recharged if the gems get recharged. The gems are mainly like batteries. Hope this makes sense. If I think of more, I'll update. Update: Titans not being able to do traditional magic is a side effect of that reinforcement. They can still do magic but again, only in unconventional ways, like weh-ing King not being able to do all the crazy stuff the grown-up titans can is because he's still a child.

I seriously doubt Phillip Wittebane was the only other human besides Luz to cross into the Boiling Isles. I strongly suspect we will discover others - perhaps who found OTHER ways to cross over. Maybe something like the "floo powder" from J.K. Rowling's universe or even something using "human technology" rather than magic. It actually would be kind of fun to see some more "human technology" be used in the Boiling Isles. Another possibility is that Hunter is actually a human, perhaps who has been adopted. Unless he something like a "squib" in the J.K. Rowling universe. Edit: autocorrect insisted on changing "floo" to floor so I had to change it back!!! Second Edit: also, I initially said "only other person" I changed it to "only other human" for clarity. We obviously know there was at least one other PERSON.

Kid_Wolf21

That "human technology" would probably be Eda shooting someone with "human magic."

For your consideration: The Owl House, Gravity Falls, and Amphibia all take place in the same universe. Amphibia, the Demon Realm, and the various dimensions traveled by Ford are all alternate dimensions existing within this shared universe. To begin with, Gravity Falls very clearly established the existence of parallel dimensions. When Ford was trapped in the portal for thirty years, he catalogued several of them and speculated an infinite amount (see *Gravity Falls: Journals 3*, Alex Hirsch et. al). This gives us a solid framework within which to speculate a connection between the parallel dimensions shown in Amphibia and the Owl House. Secondly, we have the issue of Stan’s ex-wife Marilyn. In the DVD commentary for Gravity Falls season 2, in the episode ‘Roadside Attraction’ Stan muses on how he was married to a woman for less than six hours in Vegas, and that she was really just trying to scam him out of all his money. The physical description he gives of her matches Edalyn Clawthorne quite closely, and he also mentions that she wore a T-shirt that read “over 30 and very flirty”, almost identical to the slogan that appears on Eda’s mug (which can first be seen in ‘Witches before Wizards’) which reads “30 and flirty”. Furthermore, in ‘Yesterday’s Lie”, when Vee asks the barista about Eda, the barista calls her “Marilyn”, implying it to be her alias when in the human realm. Dana Terrace has also confirmed in her AMA that Eda has been to Vegas at least once, stating that she was “not impressed”. Finally, in *Gravity Falls: Lost Legends* (Hirsch, Terrace, Hanuka), in the black market where Dipper, Pacifica, and Mabel go to find Mabel’s face, a wanted poster of Eda can be seen in the background. Finally, we have the question of Amphibia’s Calamity Box. It has already been shown to be capable of transporting people and objects between Earth and Amphibia, and the texts from the royal archives found by Marcy and Andrias in ‘Day at the Aquarium’ claim it can access more worlds besides those two. One of the worlds pictured bears a strong resemblance to the boiling isles, but that may be coincidental. However, the fact that the Calamity Box has the ability to transport people and objects between these different dimensions lends itself to the theory that the dimensions shown in the other two shows could be parallel to Amphibia and the version of Earth from that specific show. There are many minor Easter eggs in both The Owl House and Amphibia pointing towards a shared canon, most notably “the Curator” and “Frog Soos”, frog versions of Stan Pines and Jesus “Soos” Ramirez appearing in Amphibia, the Calamity Box appearing in the basement of the Owl House, and the illustration of Bill Cipher in a library book read by Marcy in the episode ‘True Colors’. These Easter eggs also imply that Gargoyles and Big City Greens are a part of this shared universe, but evidence to that end is inconclusive. There is one glaring issue with this theory, however, being this: if these Disney TVA shows share a universe with various parallel dimensions, then it stands to reason that one more show should be added to this universe: Star vs. the Forces of Evil. This becomes problematic, however, when we realize that if SvtFoE is canon within this shared universe theory, the whole theory falls apart due to the events of the show’s finale. In said finale, the dimension of Mewni is permanently fused with Earth, which would make it impossible for that Earth to be the same one shown in Gravity Falls, Amphibia, and the Owl House unless it met one of the following conditions: A) SvtFoE’s Earth is *not* the same as the Earth shown in those shows, but is rather an alternate universe or parallel dimension with nearly identical features, or B) the cleaving of Earth and Mewni happens after the canon events of the other three shows. Option A brings in more problems, however, because the existence of an alternate Earth from that of the three shows previously mentioned implies that the Earths of those shows could also be parallel dimensions. There is not currently enough evidence to prove or disprove either situation, so while it is ambiguous whether TOH!Earth, GF!Earth, and Amphibia!Earth are the same dimension, it can be safely assumed that they exist within the same universe. In conclusion, the events of the Owl House, Gravity Falls, and Amphibia all take place in the same universe, across different dimensions accessible through various portals (calamity box, Eda‘s portal to the human realm, Ford’s basement portal, etc.). Furthermore, I believe that the portions of all three shows that take place on Earth are set in the same Earth, occurring in Connecticut, Oregon, and California respectively. This concludes my theory. I also have a theory that King is a widdle cutie pie

But that would just come many other questions, For example why would hooty have an association with astrology in the past ? Is he the equivalent of prince stolas in the series ? I just want answer about him, Dana.

PPSTICKX

A, I want to give you an A+ so bad! Just gimme some more context! I want to hear more about your ideas!!!

triang5imagina

Ok so there really is more stuff to It, Here's the thing, I spend so much time trying to understand or conect the Owl beast being some part of Hooty, Because there has to be a reason for him to know this happend but it just doesn't make any sense, the Owl beast seems to be fully conscious, they even make a deal with Eda on eclipse lake. The only other character we see in the flashback ironically not only never comes out of their coat but has a completely cylindrical body aswell. We literally only have two options. And the worst part is that It can really be him, hooty does show some Sus actions that could relate to the Collector just in "knock knock in hooty's door" alone, For example the manipulation of the shadows they both have, hooty uses to make suspense before telling king He's going through puberty and the Collector uses to capture the Owl beast. I'm sure there isn't another character on the show that can do that besides these two. Not only that, but beyond King, Hooty knows very well about demonology, a Little too much even. Like for example he knows how to do blood tests which is... Something Very interesting and specific. **NOT ONLY THAT,** in the background when hooty is talking about beasts, you can see a frame involving stuff about the Owl beast. Which is already weird when you remember that we didn't see an Owl beast in the Boiling Isles yet and The only one we saw was in a completely different place **WITH THE COLLECTOR.** Here comes my real theory, What if they are the same character? let's say that Collector was tasked to catch them and when their client or Boss found out about their failure in capturing this creature, they cursed them to look like the beast so they can always remember their failure. thus turning into hooty, where he forgive his sins by protecting the very one person he accidentally hurted by his past mistakes and fusing himself to the house. And the detail I said that he can be the equivalent of stolas It's just that there's a [figure in the ceiling of the living room](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheOwlHouse/comments/oaobrm/has_anyone_ever_mentioned_how_similar_this_deity/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) of the house that strangely looks like the stolas one of the princes of hell, which ironically, [we already had a reference to one of them.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/901/290/661.jpg)

A+!!! If I had more funds I’d give you a badge! You should really start up a theories series, BRILLIANT WORK!!! I’m so proud of my students!!! :) I’m gonna write you a letter of rec to Prof. Bump ;)

Because of all the comics might as well suggest that there might be an episode were we are at risk of losing the thing we worked so hard for, lumity

That_Quiet_Wierd_Kid

Bellos is a mix of human and witch probably like hunter but he’s from generations before hunter, thus the smaller ears. He cursed himself in order gain some form of magic that wasn’t wild.

MusicHater

Summary: Luz realizes she is following/apprentice to the wrong teacher, she should be the student of The Bat Queen... Logic/Reason: The glyph system harnesses the environmental energy of the titan, each glyph giving it a form and function. Wild Magic given focus and thus form. Palismans are solidified Wild Magic, grown from the natural environment and are also sentient beings who can channel this power. They are a conduit for the energy, much like then glyphs. Wild Magic given form and thus focus. Conclusion: Adding Bat Queen to Luz's lessons will show her more uses and perhaps new runes, while also helping her decide on her own Palisman.

PPSTICKX

B+

MusicHater

How can I improve this professor?

PPSTICKX

Elaborate a bit more on why Eda isn’t the right one and why the Bat Queen is.

MusicHater

I thought that would be self evident from the premise since the BQ is a palisman herself and one that is long lived enough that she may have seen glyphs.(which hunter mentioned were used in the past from his research) Eda, while powerful before the curse, only knows the circle magic from after Belios's rise. She lacks the power and the knowledge, though what the curse itself knows is unknown.

PPSTICKX

Hmmm… I’ll give you a A

Evilerglint1138

I have access to season 1 of the owl house so please don’t come at me if something happens in season 2 because I won’t know it anyway emperor belos has daddy issues and mommy issues 100% that or he was the middle child of the family

PPSTICKX

All good, excused absences are ok!!! :)

p7urple

My theory is that the rest of the show will feel incredibly rushed, because of season 3 being shortened, and we will all unfortunately be disappointed.

PPSTICKX

Elaborate, I see where you’re coming from, wanna here more about what you have to say though…

Lumity grom tree date spoiled by Hunter leads to weird adventure to save King from certain death by fairy trial

PPSTICKX

C+ Interesting concept, more context.

OLagartixa

I ended up developing a rather crazy theory that The Owl House and the Overlord anime are connected. It all started when I discovered that in the past of both universes wild magic was something common until beings that "came from nowhere" replaced it with a more "organized" system (In the case of Overlord, it was the tier magic).

PPSTICKX

Tell the class more, interesting thought.

Thannk

The Titan is an alien. It will be revealed to have a crystal of some kind on its body. Fans will eventually connect TOH to almost every cartoon in the big three channels from 1993 to 2033.

TrickZookeepergame17

I’ve said this in a similar post but I like this theory so I’ll say it again The coven heads decide to make a program for top students in each coven in each school. They would be taken out of school for a couple of weeks and instead be trained by the coven heads. Why I want this to happen is: 1. We would be introduced to new characters that have talents in different covens we haven’t seen yet. It would be nice to see other talented children work with different magic. 2. To see the different styles and the way the magic can work, I’ll take Darius and Amity for an example. They’re both in the abomination coven but they both use the magic in different ways. Darius uses a bunch of abomination goo or something inside of him to turn him into his own abomination. By doing this, he can hide in places, change sizes, etc. Amity on the other hand tried to start summoning abominations with a circle until she found out something better. She was able to use a abomination pouch and carry it around with her and use it when needed. This resulted into less magic and energy and she was able to make it bigger and smaller when she would like without using lots of power. Now you see the two different ways that one magic could do. So what if we see a student that would be able to control not only the animals but Bipeds and Bugs as well while Eberwolf can only use the commands on himself and have more control over the magic that he uses. We would also probably get more titan and coven lore but mostly coven lore

PPSTICKX

A Interesting ideas and points!

Sword-Man

By the end of Season 2 someone is either going to die or get seriously injured (since Dana said herself that Season 2B is going to be the darker half of the Season). Or Belos will be successful in draining everyone's Magic and merge The Boiling Isles and Earth. Season 3 will then be devoted to undoing The Day of Unity.

PPSTICKX

B Common statement but solid, could use some more context.

Sword-Man

That's better than I thought I would do lol

scrawnycalc

If Stan is Eda’s ex, TOH takes place before GF. First point of evidence: Eda is mid-40s during the events of TOH, while Stan is in his late 60s/early 70s during GF. Factor in that the marriage was well before either show, and the timelines add up much better this way Second point of evidence: King is aware of Bill Cypher, but considers him quite weak. Given Bill spent 30 years (at least) amassing power before being able to breach the physical realm, and that upon achieving that power Bill was a threat to all planes of reality, it makes the most sense for this to be a pre-GF evaluation of the dream demon

Just_Somebody9367

Once Belos creates another portal, all of Luz's videos will send to her mom. Camilla will watch them and realize that Luz had never been so happy as she was on the Boiling Isle. She will look back on her promise and decide that it's time to let go. She knows deep down she can't give Luz the life she wants in the human realm. Meanwhile, Luz receives all the texts her mom had sent ever since the portal broke and the connection was cut off. Reading the texts, she realizes she wants to go home and misses her mother terribly. This could lead to some conflicts, especially between Luz and Camilla even if they don't mean it. Camilla only wants what's best for Luz, and Luz doesn't feel complete without her mom.

PPSTICKX

Beautiful. You grade it yourself my dude.

SM9118

The hiatus lasts for more than an entire year and most people give up on the show, yet only a few of the most determined fans stay and keep posting on Twitter and the subreddit, which earns each of them a role as A background character in season 2b.

realemira-blight

i want more screentime

stopyouveviolatedthe

In the end luz will have to come to terms with the fact that everyone shes met and all the friends shes made will be for nothing as she may have to leave them all behind or she knew this the whole time and has been trying to distance herself and become more independent when also trying to help others which has lead to more friendships and inevitably more pain. Example training Lilith and eda to use glyphs so they may still be able to survive when she’s gone since now she’s the only true and well practiced magic caster in the owl house.

Belos is either the journal guy or a direct descendant (can’t remember the name of the guy who wrote it) Alternately, Ford Pines wrote the journal

PPSTICKX

D+ Tell us more

mightiestsword

Descendant works better so I’m sticking to that Belos is descended from the guy who wrote the journals. Before leaving, he got to know someone biblically, and a child came from it. That child could not use magic in the same way as a witch, but was able to use magic with the help of artifacts such as staffs, runes, or (quite possibly), the lifeblood of a Palisman. As the bloodline carried on, witchling dna was mixed with human. While not enough to allow for proper magic usage, generations of this gave the descendants ears closer to (but, looking at Belos, still not exactly like) witch ears, along with better ways of using magic Stanford Pines wrote the journal is pretty basic, he came across the Boiling Isles on his trip across the multiverse, wrote another journal, and left it behind when he left

Rascals gonna die

DrManowar8

I had this theory since yesterday. Hunter isn’t a grimwalker but is a descendent of Philip. Belos is the real grimwalker who was created by Philip in an attempt to recover his brother after the fools blood incident

PPSTICKX

Elaborate.

DrManowar8

Alright, so hunter doesn’t have magic like a human but has pointy ears like a witch, which could show that he may be half human half witch so philip could have procreated with someone of the witch race years ago and eventually came down to hunter. Belos on the other hand has been alive ruling over the isles for years, decades, possibly centuries which is far passed the life span for humans and likely also witches. Belos has also shown signs that he’s crippling and that beast form could be the true grimwalker while the exterior is more like a vessel

PPSTICKX

A Interesting interesting

Annual-Zombie5187

Hunter casts a spell that kills him, Belos, and Lil Rascal

-LADI-

When it comes time for the Day of Unity, Belos will use his body (as a grim walker) to power the portal and basically kill him. One way to save him is to make a potion using all the ingredients that make a Grimwalker. Since the Palistrum wood is over harvested, there’s only one source. That is Luz I think Hunter would run away when Belos finds out about Rascal, so that would happen around epi 15 and Belos would use him around the finale. Luz would most likely give up the wood and bringing Hunter back to life. I could see Eda giving Owlbert to Luz. This is not exactly my idea, (the was Hunter gets resurrected is mine,) I found it somewhere in this subreddit and added on it. If you made the basis for this theory, reply down below and I will give credit!

Lumity is inseparable

Imanflexington

Luz is totally going to get more powerful and become a real witch at the end of the series, but when she has to choose between staying in the isles or going home, her mom will decide to stay in the isles with Luz.

lois_is_whatever

Belos is Philip and Hunter is a recreation (clone wise) of his brother My first point being his ears look a bit odd for witch ears, looks like he carved his ears to look pointy My second point is that he vaguely looks like the statue of Philip in Luz’s hometown (maybe that’s what he looked like when he was younger) and the statue of his brother next to him looks similar to Hunter My third point is that an old news paper it read that the two brother went missing and never returned, this suggests that they both stayed in the boiling isles (even though Philip succeeded in making a portal, we know this cuz his portal could be Eda’s old portal). As to Hunter being a clone of Philip’s brother, there could’ve been a tragic accident that caused Philip’s bother’s death or that when Philip finished the portal he was on a quest for immortality by messing with wild magic and got cursed, still succeeding on becoming immortal, but at the price of turning into a mud demon every now and then and has to consume the magic in palistrom wood to keep it at bay. My point being that Philip out lived his brother somehow was so much grief that he made a clone of him. In conclusion, Belos is Philip and Hunter isn’t a biological child of anyone

PPSTICKX

A, Grammar & use citations & links. Great points, Good job! :)

kamendrivr

That one comic that shows the owl house actually taking place in hell could end with Liz waking up in the hospital with the doctor being Eda, the nurse or therapy dog being king, the other patients being Gus and Willow with them sharing the next hospital room, the kids walking canes having animals on them with them being talisman, amity being a patient sharing luzs room, and amity being a jerk from luz hearing amity’s parents argues about other stuff

BillTh3Something

Luz is probably a fan of A Night in The Woods, Kobayashi's dragon maid and Ghibli films

Among the junk she collects from the Human Realm, she once found a music player and every now and again, finds CDs. As previously stated, Metallica is her favorite band and Enter Sandman is her favorite song for the same reason

Impressive_Spray6630

belos dies of a heart attack

[deleted]

Maybe the bat queen was the Titans palesman? Also maybe wild magic takes energy from the environment(as opposed to the witches heart) which is why magic in the boiling isles(with its crazy weather and stuff) works fully while the rune Luz used in the human world just sorta fizzled

xxCandy_floofxx

Luz used to love collecting rocks in the human realm

Belos finds out that Hunter is keeping a Palisman from him and doesn't immediately punish him. He instead lets Hunter keep Lil Rascal but lets him know if he ever steps out of line again, then Rascal will be used as fuel for him to keep his strength. Hunter finds out that he's a grimwalker that was only made for the Day of Unity and fights with Belos, using Rascal's staff form to try and hit him. Belos rips the palisman from Hunter's hands and breaks him in half, causing Hunter to collapse to the ground in despair and stop fighting; he is grief-stricken.
