Darth Malak might not bei the best tempered and most intelligent of the Sith, but he was badass in KOTOR. His introduction in the game gave me the shivers back then.
Savior, conqueror, hero, villian. You are all of these things, Revan... and yet you are nothing. In the end, you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone.
This line...
Before KotOR we had the game of creating your Star Wars name by doing the first three letters of your last name and the first two of your first to create your first name. Then use the first two letters of your mother’s maiden name and the first three letters of the city where you were born for your last name.
My SW last name was Malak. I thought it was a cool hero’s name. Then KotOR came out…
His first act is to destroy a planet just like Vader but to do it with just ships' cannons. It's a rage that contrasts Vader and Kylo because it's primitive for what was meant to be a more civilized age.
Then he's just Vader with the roles reversed.
Sure, he is a Vader archetype. But what I like about him is the clear visualization of loss when gaining power, that is coming with the dark side. His metal jaw shows clearly that he is not even abled to eat normally. Vader feels the same loss, but I tend to forget the suffering Anakin behind Vader's mask while that contrast is more obvious in Malak.
I like Dooku's look a lot because he doesn't look like his entire wardrobe came from hot topic.
Seems like since maul was so popular everyone who designed a sith after turned the dark/goth stuff up to 11.
Dooku's look has more personality than the rest of the sith combined
Dooku was designed as a Dracula-esque gentlemanly character to go with the actor portraying him (RIP Christopher Lee), so from a design standpoint his wardrobe fits him so well. Also Dooku itself canonically comes from a noble house, which makes it even better. He had that drip
From what I understand, dooku didn’t really give a fuck about any of it, the sith, the jedi. He wanted power, and he was just a bad mutherfucker with his lightsaber
Canonically the best fencer in the galaxy and absolutely demolishes both Anakin and Obi-Wan, twice. Only defeated through Anakin's use of the dark side.
Christopher Lee was a classically trained fencer himself and wanted that aspect reflected in his character, and Dooku is all the better for it. Best sith, and the only one that seems to really deserve the title of "lord".
yeah i always see dooku more as a grey jedi if anything. he seemed just as likely to betray the sith. what’s funny is he basically told obi wan palpatines entire plan.
i wouldn’t even say “he wanted power”. his whole backstory is that of being a political idealist like ep 2-3 anakin before becoming vader. it’s clear he lost confidence in the jedi, but seems he hardly trusted the sith either.
i actually believe dooku was being serious about asking for obi wans help to destroy the sith. in fact it probably would have saved countless lives if obi wan really did join dooku and destroy palpatine. it also would have saved obi wans apprentice.
dooku like his padawan qui gon were the most sensible force users in the galaxy.
I’ve always thought he was serious too. He lost faith in the Jedi but this was Qui-Gon’s apprentice so he took one last shot at addressing things without Palpatine.
Vader's definitely thrash.
>OBI-WAN, HAS TAKEN MY SIGHT
>TAKEN MY SPEECH, TAKEN MY HAIR AND
>TAKEN MY ARM, TAKEN MY LEGS
>TAKEN MY SOUL, LEFT ME ON MUSTAFAAAAAAAAR
~Metallica's "Obi-One"
Vader is one of the all time great designs. The combo of samurai and dark knight is just immediately iconic. He walks in, and you immediately know his deal.
Let me make it cooler.
"He's a wound in The Force, more presence than flesh. In his wake all life dies, sacrificing itself to his hunger."
Dude is literally a black hole with a lightsaber.
One thing I love about Nihilus is that in KOTOR2, the game literaly implies that Katarr isn't the only planet he ate nor is he just some ghost captain with a flying dutchman.
G0-T0 talks to the player about the unknown threat of The Sith and how recently the Sith have been infiltrating and assassinating key figureheads in the republic. He also mentions that somehow, some outer and mid rim planets are starting to be destroyed.
**Kotor2 literally implies that Nihilus is eating planets as the player is fooling around doing side quests.**
I find the concept really cool but he's more of a force of nature than a person at that point. All he wants to do is eat. Also isn't he shit with a lightsaber considering he never has to fight anyone since they just die by being on his presence?
That's just the fanbase's assumption.
Kreia taught him comparatively recently at that point, she definately mentored him in his lightsaber skills as well.
It’s probably just an assumption born of his lackluster boss fight. Seriously, he was just a sack of hit points who did nothing but drain Mandalore for minimal damage. Cool concept, though.
Kreia / Darth Treya
She's my favorite Sith, master of Nihilus and Sion.
Although at that point She's not exactly a Sith. She ended up betraying both Jedi and Sith teachings
Do you think I seek the death of all living things? There is no victory in such things. I do not want to win our war like this, little Jedi. When I win, I wish it to be because I was right, my teachings true.
Or
From such small things, from such critical points, the universe and its masses may be moved... that is why you must be careful in all that you do, and in every choice you make.
Ngl Kreia gave me some real philosophical insights I started building on as twelve year old.
She's probably the best character Star Wars universe ever gave birth to.
Also possibly the best villain of all time, both in video games and in movies.
My only copy of Phantom Menace was a screen recorded bootleg with the crowd noise and everything. Anytime I watch that movie now I can hear the "oh fuuuuck" from that bootleg that some audience member moaned when the second saber came out
Yes! I was so mad they ruined that! Had to get tickets for Enemy of the State to see one of the coolest ever parts of Star Wars spoiled by the trailer. I also had Qui-Gon’s death spoiled for me a week before the movie’s release. Friggin’ soundtrack titles.
Mine was ...Wing Commander. It had Matthew Lillard and Freddie Prinz Jr. It was so bad and forgettable that we could have left after the Ep 1 trailer and just saved more time in the day.
That trailer is still one of the best trailers ever.
Wing Commander was blocked from my memory. And I went to see Can’t Hardly Wait at least three times. Granted, Jennifer Love Hewitt and all, but it was awful.
I had Qui Gon spoiled by someone putting it in the subject line of a post on alt.movies.starwars like three days before release.
Now they DM you the spoilers directly on Reddit. Progress!
For me it's almost a tie between Darth Revan and Darth Nihilus, with Darth "Sleeps With Vibroblades" Sion as a close 3rd. I would say that I like Revan's design the best with Nihilus coming in at a **very** close second. The KoTOR games just killed it in character designs, can't wait for the remake!
Just everything, his fighting style, movements, look, manners, everything just comes really well together to form this really elegant look that i like much.

Freedon Nadd
Ajunta Pall
Ooo good one.
Vader is so ingrained as the ultimate villain in our minds which makes his look timeless and cool so it’s hard to pick anyone but him, but if you take all context out of it and just scroll and judge with your eyes:
Darth maul and darth talon are tied for me. Just pure cool factor. The tattoos, the red, both have an ideal desirable/intimidating body, while having that Star Wars alien signature with their horns and lekku. You could go either way, and maul has multiple looks to choose from as well. Also removing the over the top sex appeal from the community with talon, she just looks cool
Imo she looks badass, but I like Twi'leks in general a lot. And the other woman with the purple sabers looks amazing too!!
I'm fairly new to the Star Wars franchise since only recently my boyfriend got me into it. So any help with names/lore would be great!
Valkorion is legitimately one of the most fun and most thoroughly menacing sith lords. He transcends the sith and instead of hating the hero like most of these guys, he regards everyone as completely unworthy of his attention. He just barely gives a shit about you until the end of your interactions and like someone else here said, the white and gold drip is fuckin pristine
He had so many cool quotes too.
*"You mistake me for your own weak flesh. I do not end."*
*"My life spans millennia. Legions have risen to test me… My ascendance is inevitable. A day, a year, a millennium—it matters not. I hold the patience of stone and the will of stars."*
*"Reckless pride limned by self-righteousness. You are master of nothing."*
*"There is no death; there is only the Force—and I am its master."*
I like Darth Talon even though I don’t know much about her, would love to see a movie or something about that character. Revan I’ve always thought was a bad ass looking character overall. Vader has always been one of my favorite Sith Lords
Nihlius' minimalism is great. Just a dude that eats the life force of planets. No need for armor or "drip" or anything else.
Basically evil space monk.
I would contend that Nihlus would have the most frightening presence. He's a phantom, a wound in the force, a hungering shadow. The Emperor is an evil we can realistically comprehend; Nihlus is a black hole.
"...his mere presence kills all around him, slowly, feeding him. He is already dead, it is simply a question of how many he kills before he falls."
Yeah Nihilus is an abomination, outside of the realm of what is normal and natural.
Making it incredibly cool.
Tbf in Kotor 2, I find the entire Sith triumvirate to be really cool. Sion was mentioned in this comment section but I've not seen Traya yet. Through sheer manipulation she managed to get rid of the other two, and her motivation was hate on a whole different level: she hated the Force. The very source of her power and status, perhaps the very essence of life in the galaxy. And her grand plan was to destroy it.
Her look is also simple, basic. There's no emphasis on looking imposing, on looking powerful. She's just an old woman in dark robes with a hood covering her eyes. It's a deceptive look that perfectly fits the Lord of Betrayal. I love it.
Why on earth did I have to go this far into the comments to find this answer?! She is so fucking cool. Like in a very simple, elegant way. But also scary.
Darth Traya may be my favorite but Revan, Nihilus, and Vader look super look super cool. What can I say. Masks. If I had to choose one, Revan.
Shoutout to Valkorion and Dooku for looking very dapper.
The Sith Triumvirate designs are the best for me, all of them looks so cool, i also love Darth Sidious, and one that is not on the post, Darth Malgus from SWTOR.
This question is difficult. My first thought goes to Vader because he is quintessential to the franchise and has a special menacing presence that steals every scene he’s in.
But then I think about how utterly terrifying Nihilus is, and how there was a strange harrowing atmosphere throughout all of KOTOR 2 just from the knowledge that he was out there looking for me, an unstoppable predator lurking in the shadows waiting to feast at the opportune moment.
But ultimately, in terms of who’s coolest, I’ve gotta give it to Traya. She was the only one on this list to get close to true freedom and take on the biggest threat; the force itself.
I've always thought Darth Revan and Darth Maul were the coolest.
Darth Malak might not bei the best tempered and most intelligent of the Sith, but he was badass in KOTOR. His introduction in the game gave me the shivers back then.
Wipe this pathetic planet from the face of the galaxy
You are strong, child. But I will break you…
I’ll never fall to the dark side!
*proceeds to fall to the dark side*
Of only we could've seen that coming...
Dammit Bastilla!
[удалено]
"T t...t.... ttt... The.. entire planet lord?" Those cut scenes are amazing from mission 1.
Lord Malak was most displeased when he heard of your escape from Taris.
Savior, conqueror, hero, villian. You are all of these things, Revan... and yet you are nothing. In the end, you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone. This line...
Honestly, I loved all his dialogue. His little speech before he dies? Very nice indeed.
Really well made character if you ask me.
Then KotOR came out…
I always saw Malak as a whiny little boy trying to fill shoes too big for him.
Was he? I love Kotor to death but Malak was a very generic villain.
Malak gains a lot more depth if you play Kotor 2 and read the comics by John Jackson Miller. Still a generic bad guy but has a lot going for him.
Fuck yeah, Revan for sure.
I might just be (read: am) a total KotOR simp, but Revan, Malak, and Nihilus are all just too cool to be beaten
Dooku’s pajama fit
I like Dooku's look a lot because he doesn't look like his entire wardrobe came from hot topic. Seems like since maul was so popular everyone who designed a sith after turned the dark/goth stuff up to 11. Dooku's look has more personality than the rest of the sith combined
exquisite pajamas 🥵
Dooku was designed as a Dracula-esque gentlemanly character to go with the actor portraying him (RIP Christopher Lee), so from a design standpoint his wardrobe fits him so well. Also Dooku itself canonically comes from a noble house, which makes it even better. He had that drip
He was *born* with that drip!
He dripped out of the womb
Dooku didn't even have sith eyes so how far did he really fall?
Depends on how much pride he had
From what I understand, dooku didn’t really give a fuck about any of it, the sith, the jedi. He wanted power, and he was just a bad mutherfucker with his lightsaber
Canonically the best fencer in the galaxy and absolutely demolishes both Anakin and Obi-Wan, twice. Only defeated through Anakin's use of the dark side. I agree, a lot of the designs are trying just a bit too hard. Dooku on the other hand looks esteemed yet still villainous.
Even had drip when he was a Jedi
Superior look of superiority
There's not enough spikes and black clothes in the galaxy to make any of the others more badass than Dooku being portrayed by Christopher Lee.
Maul is the most metal but Vader looks the sickest
Idk. Vader is pretty metal
Vader is heavy metal, Maul is death metal.
Vader's definitely thrash. >OBI-WAN, HAS TAKEN MY SIGHT >TAKEN MY SPEECH, TAKEN MY HAIR AND >TAKEN MY ARM, TAKEN MY LEGS >TAKEN MY SOUL, LEFT ME ON MUSTAFAAAAAAAAR ~Metallica's "Obi-One"

Sion is metalcore. Nihilus is black metal. Sidious is [unlimited] power metal. Plagueis is prog metal.
Especially his arms and legs
And his lungs...
And my axe!
And the children too!
He is, from a certain point of view
Luke: 🙄
He's more metal now than man.
Sion is arguably the most metal… his hate keeps him alive.
Dude sleeps with vibroblades.
Man literally to angry to die
Idk who that Bith Sith is but I bet he can rock some metal cover of the cantina song
Vader is one of the all time great designs. The combo of samurai and dark knight is just immediately iconic. He walks in, and you immediately know his deal.
Samurai dark night cyborg space wizard, what more is there to want?
Racecar driver.
> He walks in, and you immediately know his deal. That and the breathing.
Best way to put it!
Darth Vader or Darth Sion Sith held together by just machines and/or just rage are wicked.
Nihilus is literally a gas of evil lol.
Thank you for further proving my point, cause Nihulus is pretty awesome. Design wise, not so much for me but still pretty wicked Edit: spelling fixes
Not really that cool, as gas is mostly vapour that is heated up.
Let me make it cooler. "He's a wound in The Force, more presence than flesh. In his wake all life dies, sacrificing itself to his hunger." Dude is literally a black hole with a lightsaber.
Palp be a meme compared to Nihilus
Bruh i just read about him, dude was fucking insanely powerful
One thing I love about Nihilus is that in KOTOR2, the game literaly implies that Katarr isn't the only planet he ate nor is he just some ghost captain with a flying dutchman. G0-T0 talks to the player about the unknown threat of The Sith and how recently the Sith have been infiltrating and assassinating key figureheads in the republic. I also like that his power controls him, not the other way around. Very cool detail.
Someone's gotta hunt down those rogue tereneteks!
I find the concept really cool but he's more of a force of nature than a person at that point. All he wants to do is eat. Also isn't he shit with a lightsaber considering he never has to fight anyone since they just die by being on his presence?
Darth Galactus. Imagine a lightsaber the size of the empire state building.
Vampire
I have so much bias on maul since he is my all time favorite so I’m picking revan
Lol my exact thought process.
Who's the one with the floating lightsabers?
A lady who read way to much Friedrich Nietzsche.
>!Darth Traya!< from KOTOR 2

Darth maul is the drippiest sith there is, hands down.
Anyone who does not pick Maul is a LIAR!
The double-sided saber reveal was supreme
My only copy of Phantom Menace was a screen recorded bootleg with the crowd noise and everything. Anytime I watch that movie now I can hear the "oh fuuuuck" from that bootleg that some audience member moaned when the second saber came out
You mean that reveal during the first trailer?
Yes! I was so mad they ruined that! Had to get tickets for Enemy of the State to see one of the coolest ever parts of Star Wars spoiled by the trailer. I also had Qui-Gon’s death spoiled for me a week before the movie’s release. Friggin’ soundtrack titles.
Qui-Gon’s Noble End
Mine was ...Wing Commander. It had Matthew Lillard and Freddie Prinz Jr. It was so bad and forgettable that we could have left after the Ep 1 trailer and just saved more time in the day. That trailer is still one of the best trailers ever.
Wing Commander was blocked from my memory. And I went to see Can’t Hardly Wait at least three times. Granted, Jennifer Love Hewitt and all, but it was awful.

True true, but there’s also revan
To me it is Darth Nihilus in a pure "Cool Factor" Surface level, if i were to say who has the most style i would say Dooku takes the Spot
Yeah, Dooku invented drip.
Just everything, his fighting style, movements, look, manners, everything just comes really well together to form this really elegant look that i like much.
Christopher Lee was perfect for that role. He oozed class.
Well, James Bond was directly based on him. Ian Flemming is his step cousin and modeled a lot of Bond on Lee's exploits durung WWII.
A yes the inescapable Christopher Lee reddit factoid
Just like that time Steve Buscemi kicked a helmet and broke his toe while firefighting against the armies of Mordor.
Also the stabby stabby one
Nihilus has lived rent free in my head ever since i first picked up KOTOR2
Since no one else has: (From top left to bottom right) Page 1: Darth Maul Count Dooku (Darth Tyranus) Darth Vader Darth Sidious Page 2: Darth Revan Darth Malak Valkorion (Darth Vitiate) (It should be known that Darth Vitiate has a different form, his true form, Valkorion is merely a body he possessed when he became a force entity) Page 3: Darth Krayt Darth Caedus (Jacen Solo) (Bottom Left) Darth Talon (Right) Page 4: Darth Plagueis Darth Tenebrous Darth Bane (He has a better looking outfit than the one pictured) Page 5: Darth Traya Darth Nihilus Darth Sion Notable exclusions: Kylo Ren Exar Kun (monstrously under appreciated character) Darth Malgus Darth Momin Darth Jadus (my personal favourite) Naga Shadow Freedon Nadd Ajunta Pall

Does anyone know who the other two in the third image are? I recognize Talon and the human one looks so familiar, but I have no clue on the other one.
Darth krayt and jacen solo
Aka Darth Caedus
Book-only characters are at kind of a disadvantage here.
I'd say Mauls body is only half ideal.
Talon because I’m thirsty
Everyone else: Yo I spent thousands on personalized cosplay gear Talon: This is literally a bikini and I still look every bit as evil as you
Accurate though isn’t it 😂
All that body paint
still less than Maul
Twi'lek makeup looks good. Don't get me wrong. But damn you gotta wear it all day
Imo she looks badass, but I like Twi'leks in general a lot. And the other woman with the purple sabers looks amazing too!! I'm fairly new to the Star Wars franchise since only recently my boyfriend got me into it. So any help with names/lore would be great!
I'm no expert on the Star Wars extended universe either but another comment says purple lightsabers is Darth Traya
Big tiddy sith gf
Why isnt it possible?
It's just not.
WHY not, you stupid bastard?
Talon… she’s got great personality.
Personalities*
At least you're honest **edit:** grammar
Valkorion is a drip lord
He was baller enough to forget the cliché black sith robes and draped himself in white and gold armor
Kinda reminded me of Griffith. A malevolent entity dressed like an angel and worshiped by all but a few who know his true self.
I appreciate that he's the one Sith Lord that doesn't immediately scream "my robes represent the blackness of my soul" at first sight.
If they ever make Star Wars movies again, I'd love a charismatic, manipulative villain with good publicity.
Palpatine? Man was a one man charm lord, and looked good damn good doing it. Until, you know...
…the attempt on his life left him scarred and deformed
Valkorion is legitimately one of the most fun and most thoroughly menacing sith lords. He transcends the sith and instead of hating the hero like most of these guys, he regards everyone as completely unworthy of his attention. He just barely gives a shit about you until the end of your interactions and like someone else here said, the white and gold drip is fuckin pristine

Probably why RoS plot heavily borrowed from that storyline 🤣
I died internatlly when Palps said to Rey in RoS something along the lines of "sit on that throne to take control of the fleet"
Revan, nihilus, vader, maul. In that order
This right here, maul might be second in mine though
I would swap Vader and nihilus, but yes I agree.
Vader. OG sith, even palpatine is just trying to figure out a way to be different and cooler. Cool, calm, collected and dangerous af.
Calm, cool, and collected are all definitely words.
100% not words I’d use to describe vader
Id say he acted pretty confident and cool in the OT
He’s always been confident even as Anakin he was sure of himself. Being called the chosen one would do that to you.
Definitely. Dude was designed to look like a space samurai. Epic.
People sleeping on Vitiate fr
I mean in the picture used for him he just looks like a random guy, I bet more would say him if they used a picture when he was a Sith (species)
His armor tho
Ohh yeah, true, it does look pretty cool. Although I don't think it's good enough to beat like Vader, Revan, Nihilus, Maul, etc.
Vader, always. But where's Exar Kun? Relegated to Legends?
Oh my god i forgot Malgus too!
And Freedon Nadd with his dope ass armor
Naga Sadow would like a mention
Shit i forgot about him! My goof
gee you wouldn't do well on a Sith test in school.
I like Darth Talon even though I don’t know much about her, would love to see a movie or something about that character. Revan I’ve always thought was a bad ass looking character overall. Vader has always been one of my favorite Sith Lords
Darth Nihilus by far looks the coolest in my opinion. Revan is a close second.
Nihlius' minimalism is great. Just a dude that eats the life force of planets. No need for armor or "drip" or anything else. Basically evil space monk.
The Emperor. He personifies evil. He looks old and helpless, but deep down, you know better.
I would contend that Nihlus would have the most frightening presence. He's a phantom, a wound in the force, a hungering shadow. The Emperor is an evil we can realistically comprehend; Nihlus is a black hole. "...his mere presence kills all around him, slowly, feeding him. The very source of her power and status, perhaps the very essence of life in the galaxy. And her grand plan was to destroy it.
Yeah, but which one ?
Revan. Definitely Revan. Maul is the most striking though. Tough one!
Nihilus 1000%, his mask is very cool and quite unique
Darth Traya. The sheer intimidation factor of facing off against 3 floating light sabers is on another level.
Tulak Hord
Found Khem Val.
Jar jar binks for sure, he's got those stalky eyes
I’ve always been partial to darth maul and vader. But Revan and Nihilus are pretty cool looking too
Revan da GOAT
Always vitiate
Man, Sith Lords really are just Extra Bitches aren’t they.
They're lucky Kenobi never went Dark Side like his Master's Master, dude would have gone LEAGES comparatively.
Darth Malgus He's ruthless and his armor and saber fits him well
Darth Krayt has a super unique look. I’d say that’s pretty cool.
I always loved the look of Darth Marr in SWTOR even if you could actually get his armor. It's just so cool. Apart from him, Nihilus takes the cake.
Daddy maul 😍 Nihilus looks cool too
Darth Bane. Was a badass who established the rule of two which continued to be followed after his end
But also the pic isn't quite accurate, no orbalisks :(
Yeh I gotta go with the dude who wore bugs for this armor. What's more badass than that?
Can’t believe theres no Darth Malgus on here!
Darth Talon out here lookin like she got the highest level female armor on.
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Darth_Marr?so=search The coolest Sith isn’t on this list
Not listed here but Darth Malgus for me

Darth Talon. She was going to be one of he primary antagonists in George Lucas' version of the sequels.
Were in the bad time line....
Not a fan of her design, it dosen't feel all to nuanced or complex it's just a twilek with darth maul colors.
Bane since you listed him twice…
Maul> Vader> EE
Looks coolest - Maul, although Vader and Palpy more menacing
