And y’all say Vince doesn’t do long term storytelling
We're just about to find out that Trump buying Raw was actually part of a hush money deal
Trump would think buying Raw means paying extra to not use a rubber
Oh God, just when I thought this couldn't take a wilder twist, here's the former president.
Trump with the RKO outta nowhere!
But seriously what the fuck...
Remember when Trump took a Stunner so bad, they had to re-edit it for subsequent broadcasts?
Remember when Vince did the same thing earlier this year?
Why are people shocked a non-wrestler 60 year old didn't take the stunner well?
Scenes when it comes out that the Mar-A-Lago raid was about the FBI getting Vince, not Trump.
You mean WWE Hall of Famer Former President
We really do live in the stupidest timeline.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE BUT TOO OLD TO ORDER OFF THE KIDS MENU! WHAT A STUPID AGE!
Never too old for that.
That’s Emmy Award Nominee WWE Hall of Famer Former President to you pal!
Who also stole nuclear secrets!
He needed those for Q!
JFK Jr. has been asking for them for years.
I mean the Saudis didn’t give Kushner 2 billion dollars for nothing
*Ron and/or Jim Watkins
Leave Ben Whisaw out of this!
The only hall of famer who was impeached twice.
It's been a weird fuckin' week all around, yo.
The Cubs just *had* to go and win a World Series.
They just *had* to shoot the damn gorilla...
This is the correct answer…
& that weasel just *had* to fall in the large hadron collider.
*Leonardo DiCaprio and his Oscar
Cubs fan here and I’ve been saying for years that it was the last good thing to ever happen.
Aye you leave my cubbies out of this I already got it bad enough
Back to the Future 2 was one year off.
Forget week, try summer. This summer is going to go down in history as arguably the most bizarre in recent memory.
I'd say it's been pretty fucking weird since HHH got initially ousted last autumn.
Im pretty sure in the future looking back the past 2 years, hell maybe the past 6 years we'll look back and ask ourselves "The fuck was going on?"
I appreciate your optimism the human race will last long enough to look back on this.
Humans are surprisingly resilient, we have survived many societal collapses, and natural disasters. Furthermore Earth has a surprsing ability to heal itself once we stop fucking with it. Once modern society collapses Im sure humans will remain.
I have no doubt the planet will outlast us. I just dunno if as a race we'll make it through screwing with the environment AND bi-yearly plagues AND social collapses on multiple fronts AND more wars all at once.
I really do hope I'm wrong, it just feels like...a lot heh
Around seventy thousand years ago a supervolcano on the island of Sumatra erupted creating Lake Toba. This eruption ejected so much ash and debris into the atmosphere it is estimated that for the following 6-10 years earth was in a neverending winter. And causing another 1000 years of temperatures being cooler than normal. This was the largest volcanic eruption in human history, and it is theorized that our population might've gotten as low as 3000 individuals.
Yet here we are, somehow surviving literal Game of Thrones winters, in the stone age, and recovering from a population in the thousands, to nearly 8 billion today. If we managed to survive that, I'm honestly convinced that the only thing that will kill us off for good is the heat death of the universe, we're a crafty bunch us humans.
*Summer 2020 enters the chat*
In just wrestling terms I don’t think we’ve gone a week without a major story this whole year
In any other year, Stone Cold coming out of retirement would have been one of the biggest stories of the year.
This year, it arguably doesn’t even crack the top 5.
Stone cold came out of retirement? Holy shit.
Tale as old as time: Just when you think a shitshow is at its shittiest, Donald Trump gets involved
Stop. I can’t eat anymore popcorn.
You can and you will.
But it’s crunchy, and I’m tired! 😩
My lips are chapped and my tongue is swollen. But I'll keep eating until the butter replaces the blood in veins.
Perhaps a bucket load of cash and an NDA will satisfy your... tiredness...

We’re gonna get fat with all this popcorn.
What am I saying? We’re wrestling fans AND Reddit users. We’re already fat.

Long term storytelling at its finest
So the theory is that Vince personally donated to the Trump Foundation, but the Trump Foundation recorded the donation as coming from WWE. And these donations might have been compensation for Trump appearing for WWE, although WWE said in 2016 that they paid appearance fees separate from these donations. If the donations came from WWE, they should be accounted for in WWE's expenses, especially if they were compensation for appearances, and those expenses aren't accounted for.
Seems like there was a lot of loosey goosey being played between McMahon personal and WWE finances, which publicly traded companies and the SEC are big fans of.
At least we know that there is no foul play with the Saudi deal made during all of this....
We basically already saw the Vince McMahon documentary, it was called Arrested Development.
Does that make HHH an analrapist?
I dunno but It definitely makes Shane Gob.
I'm also looking forward to Rod McMahon turning up with long flowing hair and shacking up with Linda.
Elias is Gene Parmesean
Jessica Walter's reactions every time he revealed himself always made me laugh.
He’s very good.
Does that make Cody An-Yong?
Lashley is obviously Stan Sitwell
I see what you did there
Vince may have committed some... light treason
He blue himself.
I for one am looking forward to anustart with him
He's definitely be the Tobias about to say why yes I am Bi-lingual as I just blue myself
WWE might have committed some light treason.
"A husband and wife can't be arrested for the same crime"
Theres always money in the banana stand
Tomorrow: "[Wrestlenomics] Additional WWE expenditure personally authorized by Vince McMahon has been found. Amounts and timing matches up exactly with the plane tickets those Saudi dudes took to Istanbul to assassinate Jamal Khashoggi"
Wonder if Vince took the deduction on his personal taxes for this $5M donation
I could have sworn that Meltzer said that the Trump appearances in 2007 and 2009 were paid for by donations from Vince (and maybe Linda?) to the Trump Foundation charity. This allowed Trump to evade taxes on the payments since he was often using the charity as a sort of slush fund. There's a whole slew of stories about its use on the wiki page.
Vince....you've played mind games with murderous Saudi Princes and somehow THIS is your most dangerously stupid thing you've done.
The IRS puts the fear of God into Al Capone, The Joker, and even SNOOPY.
You should NEVER fuck with Irwin Rotunda Schyster
So this is Bray Wyatt's revenge?
Vince should’ve released that lost episode of Firefly Funhouse that taught kids how to do taxes.
You're my world now...a world of fear and darkness. 401ks and capital gains. You want to change the system but....eh...hehehehehe....
The system is rigged by those who don't want to change it!! So call your TurboTax rep today, and make them suffer.
Cut to Cena promo.
"Fine speech" *rubs baldspot*
Joker showed off why he's the smartest villain. Murder millions, but he don't fuck with no tax man!
So Vince was fucking Trump and paying him to keep quiet? Wild.

Oh man. He fucked with the IRS. That is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
Vince will drag this out of court and die before we reach settlement.
LIFE SUCKS AND THEN YOU DIE
Especially after firing his sons
When’s John Oliver gonna get back into this
They had a pic of Vince in one of the intro recently
I’m just waiting for the WSJ report. Not paying for it though, ain’t giving Murdoch any money.
I’m guessing Vinny mac was on the island once or twice with Epstein
was Vince just ignorant of how SEC laws work? why would you do this?
i don't watch college football, pal!
But how else is he gonna see the next generation of WWE superstars?
The Vince equivalent of "Have you ever of heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?!" *"I don't listen to hip hop!"*
Vince wants Bama!
The new crop at the Performance Center *does* have a player from The University of Alabama…
But it says University of Alabama AT BIRMINGHAM.
I mean it did take 15 years to come out. So there's that.
If anything they only found out because there was obviously an audit to find any discrepancies because of the NDAs. I guess company filings are different than personal taxes which I thought you could only go as far back as 7 years.
billionaire don't care
No, this is just how they taught finance and business at Trump University.
I remember posting on message boards years ago that Vince and Trump were mob associates who used their businesses to launder money and I was laughed off the internet. Birds of a feather I guess...can't wait to see discovery once the shareholders sue.
Ooo so we're adding political embezzlement into this shit show?
If this whole thing was a Netflix series I would have tapped out by now for being fucking too ludicrous to believe.
trump wasn’t really that deeply involved in politics in 2007, and only barely in 09
in fact he was still calling himself a democrat at the time. the Trump Foundation was not a political organization back then, it was just a fake charity and tax fraud scheme.
for example, when he created a fake bidder for a charity auction to buy a portait of himself for 60k, then used the trump foundation to reimburse the fake bidder (himself) the 60k.
The extent of 2007-2009 Trump politics was birther nonsense, not running for office.
> Ooo so we're adding political embezzlement into this shit show?
not sure if it's politically motivated. the years don't match up for the Trump campaign. but this is definitely fucking weird.
It matches up for Trump's WWE appearances though, which Vince could've paid for through the foundation to avoid taxes.
Wait until someone finally starts digging into wrestling and money laundering.
Even Riverdale isn’t as crazy as this shit show lol
*"THAT'S THE FUCKEN SEED"* \- joey diaz
And that's when I told Mankind I'd throw him offfa the Hell in a Cell and that \*CAÑONA\* didn't FUKKIN BELIEF ME
Stamford. 2007. We were *fucked up*...
**Vince:** Now listen here pal, that $5 million wasn't to silence women! It was given to known "charitable organization" Trump Foundation!
**People:** You... you know that isn't the win you think it is, right?
Billionaires clearly operate on a higher plane of existence than we do, obviously.
That Foundation is in the process of being shut down because it was being used as a slush fund/tax avoidance scam by Trump and his family. I believe they did stuff like make bids on artwork of Trump (that Trump owned) at exorbitant prices.
This was probably a standard Trump tax avoidance scheme. Pay the 'charity' to avoid taxes since it's a donation, then funnel that money back towards himself via various schemes, whilst doing things like stiffing Veterans and the red cross and various other people he pledged to help.
Wikipedia has a long article on it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald\_J.\_Trump\_Foundation
I would say that the relevant part is probably this one:
**Diversion of taxable income to the foundation as donations**
The Washington Post reported in September 2016 that Donald Trump had directed that $2.3 million owed to him and his organization by various people and organizations should be paid instead to his foundation as donations, possibly evading personal income taxes. The Post found old Associated Press coverage showing that Trump may have started directing income to the Trump Foundation as early as 1989. IRS rules prohibit individuals from diverting taxable income owed to them toward charities if they benefit directly from those charities unless the individual declares the income on his tax forms. Since Trump had yet to release his income taxes at that time, the Post was unable to confirm if the income was declared for any of the donations received...
**The Trump Foundation received a total of $5 million in donations from World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon and his wife Linda McMahon from 2007 to 2009. Trump appeared twice in WrestleMania events, in 2007 and again in 2009. One donation to the foundation was $4 million in 2007; the second was $1 million in 2009. The WWE later told The Huffington Post that "during this period, WWE paid Donald Trump appearance fees separately," and "separately, \[WWE chief executives\] Vince and Linda McMahon made personal donations to Donald Trump's foundation."**
So it seems the board investigation is expanding beyond Vince's penis to include shady business practices and tax avoidance scams. This Trump Foundation thing probably popped up first because that's a pretty well known and well documented scam, but there's probably more to come.
It seems literally impossible to interact with Trump and then not be implicated in some wild ass crime.
"Let me hear you say Ass Crime!"
does that mean Vince and Trump were knocking boots?
Well, considering Vince was a Trump fan from years ago.. having multiple WrestleManias in Trump plaza and having him even appear on screen at the events... I'd say yes, they were probably having sex with each other too.
It’s the only logical conclusion.
"grab em by the grapefruits!"
Does that mean Trump also had to sign an NDA?
Just to summarize:
The payments were made in 2007 and 2009. While Trump has been "involved" in politics since the 80's, it doesn't have to do with campaign finance.
It's believed they are payments for his appearances which would likely relieve tax burdens on both parties.
For some reason, they try to connect it to the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago despite zero evidence.
They don't really try to connect it, they just say it's a coincidence. Though given some of the ongoing investigations into both men who knows what'll turn up.
Maybe Trump showed Vince that aliens are real?
The DOJ investigating a former president to get to Vince McMahon would be a real swerve. They've been after him since he was revealed as the Higher Power.
Oh I'm not saying they are, but given both of them are giant fucking carnies, there's a non-zero percent chance one of Vince's skeletons has something to do with the Orange Menace.
Fanta Menace was right there....
Vince will found out not long after Trump figures it out.
I don't think anyone on here connecting it to the Mar-a-Lago raid is being serious. I hope, anyway.
Yeah this is in no way related to the FBI Raid on Maralago. That seems to clearly be about classified documents kept by Trump after he left the White House.
At best it'll have something to do with the NY lawsuit.
Wait wait wait, so you're saying Vince and Trump weren't having sex?
OMG could you imagine if Vinny mac ends up being the thing to actually take down trump?
I know there’s a 0.00001% chance of it being related, and it’s likely a coincidence, but imagine if the raid on Trump had to do with information found in the WWE investigation. And a wrestling reporter was the one who broke the story lmao
Imagine Vince was the informant and turned to save his own skin.
It's all a work the raid, the misconduct, Vince being gone, Trump becoming President
Long term story telling
IT WAS ME DONALD, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG
Trump: Aw sonofabitch
Movie script even if it’s not true.
"IT WAS ME, DONALD"
I've been saying for a while there's something fishy about that Saudi money.
Win win for the intelligent wrestling fans (there are some of us!)
Fuck both those scumbags.
That's hilariously wrong. In the big picture of Trump's issues this means nothing.
I don’t know, Al Capone was taken down by the IRS.
They're going to eventually find a connection to Epstein, if they haven't already found one. Oof.
Yeah he pretty much has to retire
Are we at the part in the Scorsese film with the Layla piano montage?
Between my own personal shit, the global pandemic, and all of this... Oct. 2019 to the present day has been a constant, absolute mindfuck.
I just feel proud of myself for making it this far into this fever dream.
Vince took finance at Trump University
What a crazy time line we live in that I can say WWE is less than 6° of separation away from an FBI investigation
The people that still defend this man can go fuck themselves
Vince or Trump?
If Vince McMahon shows up in the records raided from Mar-a-Lago, I quit reality.
I always felt it was a huge missed opportunity for Trump not to walk out to "No Chance in Hell" for his presidential acceptance speech.
This can only mean one thing: Vince had sex with Trump and paid him to keep quiet about it
You know fuck it I like living in interesting times some of the time, this is some crazy shit right here and I am excited to find out what happens next
On another note it seems like Vince could be in some very hot water with the IRS.
For as invincible as Vince he thought he was even Al Capone lost to the IRS
Obviously, this is incredibly stupid but this looks worse for Linda, IMO
Vince paid out that money, tried to hide it, and Linda gets a cabinet spot. The way the news is going though, it's gonna make Vince look worse.
Edit: to the "it was ten years later" people.... So you really think they're not related? You think Mr. I like people who win and who don't get captured in a war just decided to appoint Linda to a cabinet position based on her ZERO political experience except losing two consecutive races? Seriously?
It really doesn't.
Donate now, get a big position later goes all the way back to the early 1800s and the dawn of campaign financing.
Pick any President you want, at least half their cabinet did them a favor, usually financial.
The only exception might be the few who followed Presidents who died in office but didn't replace their cabinet....in which case their cabinets all did favors for the dead guy.
The money was for Trump’s WM angle and his takeover of RAW in 2009. It’s widely known instead of payments to Trump personally, he paid Trump’s Foundation.
I mean we all know that tons of people literally bought their way into positions under Trump, a lot way more blatantly than that.
But it's nice to have yet another example of this happening, I suppose.
Link to their story: https://wrestlenomics.com/2022/08/11/analysis-theres-a-possible-connection-between-the-trump-foundation-and-vince-mcmahons-newly-revealed-unrecorded-payments
Oh my god let me off the wild ride
Vince's final storyline is his best. Cause wtf is this???
Funny thing is that 5 million is the majority of the money that the trump foundation raised during that time. Which is extremely little when you consider the fact that these are supposed to be two billionaires.
Using company money to pay all these immoralities and dirty shit not to mention the ladies he paid off SMH
Ahh yes, everyone’s two favorite Republicans
Looks to be payment for his WWE appearances and had the same arrangement with NBC and comedy central for work.
Probably to lessen taxes for everyone. Easy way to get around taxes is donate to a foundation
Not surprised in the slightest. He was personally appointed to be Trump’s economic advisor during 2020, all while Linda started running a significant part of his campaign.
The McMahons had more influence during the Trump administration than a lot of people, and it’s amazing how it constantly goes overlooked because people associate Vince with being a carny, so it’s not worth their time to go digging.
Is there a carny angle to every business deal Vince has ever made? It has to be like, at least 80%.
SCJerk: Who cares what billionaries do with their own money! It's his money! He can do what he wants with it!
