I live in Northern Europe, but currently in Somalia, I voted for Somalia. Somalis back home hardly or never heard of Reddit. They’re more into Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. So it’s understandable that they are minorities in this sub. I assume that most people who voted for Somalia are basically folks like me who currently visiting home or return from the west.

Very true. I’m also from Northern Europe but in the U.K. so I voted for the U.K. Reddit is mostly an anglophone app. The vast majority of its users are from the US, U.K. and Canada so it makes sense for this poll to reflect the same thing
