I don't like the way new somali music is starting to sound Tanzanian, Nigerian or Indian. We need to bring back Qarami sounds and styles

I don’t really care, music evolves and different countries influence each other, it doesn’t matter to me as long as its 🔥
It would be cool if we had our own modernized unique sound like Nigerians have afrobeats. A modern revamping of qaraami >>>>
Name me a couple of Somali songs that sound foreign
Why? Somali music isn’t one style. The diversity caters to different audiences in the country & diaspora.
True but so? It still sounds good. Music always evolves and borrows from other styles and cultures.
Music is Haram walaal. Listen to our meaningful and beautiful poetry instead of garbage repetitive choruses.
Music evolves. Cry about it
It should evolve to something new and organic and not copying other cultures. Afrobeat in Nigeria is original and did not copy others and neither are the Tanzanians and Indians
What Somali song sounds like Afro beat
Where did he say they sound the same 💀
“Somali songs starting to sound like…” did u even read the post? Lmao
I dont know who downvoted you, but its factual.
I used to be like you, but now I've come to appreciate modern Somali sound. And I disagree, well granted I don't listen to Indian or Tanzanian music, but Somali sound is distinctly different than Nigerian. This is even reminiscent of qaraami: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6OlbLMEJt4&ab\_channel=SuldaanSeeraar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6OlbLMEJt4&ab_channel=SuldaanSeeraar)
But if you're into qaraami, you should check out Astaan music. They do really cool live concerts: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX-k\_jTXSJI&ab\_channel=Astaan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX-k_jTXSJI&ab_channel=Astaan)
Music is Haram
