So you’re saying you’ve sent in your US passport and and an SS-5 application to your local SSA office and they haven’t processed it yet? If that’s the case I would call your office everyday until someone processes the application with you on the phone. I’m not sure if the dept of education uses E-Verify but that’s a program we use for employers when they need to verify someone’s info. So as long as you’ve submitted your passport to the office we can tell the dept of education you’re a citizen through e-verify.
