>!at the conclusion of Dark Reign/Siege it was revealed that the reason why Rouge is so broken up was because The Sentry was the only one who could bone her and not die, and that they had been boning!<
>!The Sentry ends up becoming the big bad at the end and kills Ares, Greek god of war and Loki before being killed by Thor when he actually becomes The Void/the hunger of Galactus!<
Not really, you can just get the graphic novel compilations of the crossover events that sound interesting. I hadn't read comics since I was a kid, last story line I had followed was Spiderman Maximum Carnage, up till a friend who went to film school sent me all of Civil War with a read order list, the story was amazing and I wish that the MCU could have made that story instead, but still can't due to all the licensing bullshit from Sony and Universal.
After that he sent me the next year's crossover event that immediately followed it, Dark Reign, where the fallout from Civil War results in the bad guys taking over and the heroes having to work in the shadows.
Last one he sent me was Fear Itself, which I hope gets an MCU adaptation, it cover's the actions of Sin, the daughter of the Red Skull as she seeks power by freeing Odin's brother, Cul Borson, the god of fear, who chooses several already powerful characters and gives them a Mjolnir style Asgardian power boost that also makes them insane nightmare monsters. The heroes have one shot at defeating them before Odin destroys all of Midgard to stop his brother, as so long as he can keep increasing fear he gets ever more powerful.
The their thing you can do is follow stories posted on YouTube, my favorite comic book condenser is DopeSpill, who does an incredible job of breaking down an entire series run into an easily digestible video that cuts out the non essential side content, but also has the background knowledge to fill you in on important details from previous stories to ensure it all makes sense, as well as adds some of his own side commentary to the events. You can either follow along with the individual videos, or wait for him to post them all as a single "The Big Spill" video.
Like [Scarlett Witch and the Darkhold series,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYHseD2Ue9k) which is like its own self contained What If... series.
[Death of Doctor Strange](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN6gkTqt1qA)
Some have previous vids as kind of a required viewing, like all of the current Hulk and Thor stuff he's posting right now, because the power creep on all Hulks just got insane since [Immortal Hulk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rcyny9q3oUs) which leads directly into [Starship Hulk: Smashtronaut](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnzbRADD8DQ) but then you should also watch [Thor: God Of Hammers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzfqvScSKvQ) [Epilogue for God Of Hammers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocrmm_D4QU8)/Beginning of what he's currently covering, [Thor vs Hulk: Banner Of War](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OegSWRkoOmU) which is still on going.
Another huge interconnected set of series is all of the symbiote/King In Black storylines.
Sorry, this is kinda off-topic you seem knowledgeable about x men so I was wondering if you watch the cartoon. Because I once caught an episode of x-men that stuck with me where there is a girl in a coma who was flying and had powers in her dreams but apparently Rogue put her in that state and took her powers and her life or something and had it for a long time and they had this dream battle. I don't know if it's canon, but can Rogue take powers and keep them for real real? Because in the teen version of x men it was like for a few minutes or so.
In the cartoon, Rogue can keep a power permanently if she touches the victim long enough, but most people die way before that, however Miss Marvel was powerful enough that Rogue managed to keep her powers permanently, that is why she flies and is super strong.
Yep, in the comics it was one of rte few actually good things Carol Danvers did. She was always hyper pro military and at one one time was dating War Machine, but intentionally got him killed on a suicide mission because she got orders to do so.
Its why many of us didn't want a Capitan Marvel movie, especially one that retconned a ton of stuff.
Essentially yeah, but we where labeled as sexist for not wanting Carol Danvers in the MCU, the same people insisted that we wanted Shehulk, because she's a Wonder Woman character, but instead of being a BDSM fantasy Shehulk is super horny all the time and has hooked up with several heroes and villains. It lead to some animosity between her and Wolverine because in his words "don't want Juggernaut's leftovers".
This is actually a fight between Captain Marvel and Rogue!
She took so many of Carol Danvers powers that eventually she kept them, and I think Carol ended up living in her mind.
Nah todays weeb servicing is waaaaay worse than 80/90’s western comic depictions. You have literal scenes where the protagonist is just straight up sexually assaulting a female under her clothes, but like it’s chill cause she likes it (looking at you 7DS). The audience is supposed to be like awe they’re in love. Shits weird now. I was never uncomfortable watching X-Men in the same room as my Mom, but some of todays anime I’m not so sure I would.
Iirc I think it was when they were trying to become certified hunters. Gon and his friends were up against some criminals, Leorio was being a pervert in that scene
Ohhh man you just brought back memories I had totally blanked out of my psyche. I was even going to rewatch Hunter x Hunter and hadn't had even the tiniest memory of that. I don't think I can do it a 2nd time.
It was worse than that scene in the recent Sword Art season that came out of nowhere. At least the pig was as shocked and disgusted as I was. HxH just dragged on and on and there was no one there to say 'wtf.'
Yeah. Chimera Ant became a slog in the mid to late arc with a few epic scenes, but overall it could have been condensed by cutting a dozen episodes easily. There is literally a 5 minute segment of that one bad-turned-good character running down a hallway in slow motion while the narrator provides exposition. That was painful to watch.
[This is the one you're looking for](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GcD5XpWnTM) although calling a show where you can see peoples heads get ripped off while they scream horribly is kind of a stretch. also, while the scene is definitely perverted that's the entire point of it and all other characters clearly judge Leorio for his behaviour and it's shown as bad.
Eri and Mirio having a weird ass relationship between an adult and a child. Granted I would believe this is a translation fuck up, but still mad weird on screen
From a certain point of view, isn't EVERYTHING fan service?
Why do companies come out with movies/shows? To serve the fans of the franchise.
Think about it. Why would a company come out with a film that they know for a fact fans would hate?
If you do not adhere to the wishes of your fans, you make no money.
This is my issue with the concept of fan service.
Iv even recently come around to anime there are a bunch i enjoy now, but this meme is like weeb incel propaganda its such a ridiculously prominent problem, i cant even get through a relatively reserved anime without a minor with the biggest tits youve ever seen being treated by the show like an object of uncontrollable desire. its so fucking creepy.
It’s a reference to Always Sunny in Philadelphia when a character is trying to massively overcompensate for not “diddling kids” by saying he doesn’t many many times.
The above commenter was saying that it seems like OP doth protest too much.
If I were to compare 20s anime against 90s Saturday morning cartoons, I'm still confident the modern anime would be more sexualised than the cartoons from thirty years ago.
There had to be a reason why I loved that show so much.
Also check out art of Psylocke from X-Men 1-20, in the early 90’s. Those artists didn’t hold back.

That is an untouchable ass.

See, that sounds so cool, but man it is so intimidating starting to read comics because it's literally like a lifetime worth of reading.

“Comics are too much reading” *slowly puts down book 13 of wheel of time* 🤔

Yooo that was Miss Marvel?! I gotta keep up lol thank you so much I was wondering for years!
Glad to be of help. It is hard to keep up when there is so much backstory to everything. I am no expert, I only know this because my mother told me.

That's wild. Idk I'm just googling and... So Carol was the one from Captain Marvel. Yeah looks like they wrote a whole new character for her lol
Just wear a condom... A full body condom
Hey, hey... Rogue had substance. Show the respect she deserves that Marvel didn't in the movies.
How much influence do you think Marvel had on the X-Men films?
Which one piece ep is that? My friend was asking
Good question
So is my friend what a coincidence..
all i remember is that it was in whole cake island, I'm guessing after luffy and nami escaped out of the burning book prison
Oh yes now i remember! My friend said thanks a lot!
LMAO
👍
Same but asking for myself.
found it. ep819 8:31 u welcome
They knew we would be looking back at it years later, getting both nostalgia, and, something else
I still have a thing for southern accents. It's been like 30 goddamn years.
At what point did one piece became the land of stick figures with boobs? I remembered it not being as exaggerated as this
You're remembering right. Nami's figure and presentation got wilder in the manga after the timeskip, but the anime straight up lost its damn mind.
i now want to watch onepiece :D
1000+ episodes: *bonjour*

I agree, that one scene (inside that ant hill looking place) in hunter x hunter, caught me off guard. I was thinking this was a kids show
What's the scene again? I haven't watch hxh in a long time.
Iirc I think it was when they were trying to become certified hunters. Gon and his friends were up against some criminals, Leorio was being a pervert in that scene
When Hisoka was bathing?
Ah damn I forgot about that one 😬 nah when leorio fingered (?) one of the inmates to figure out if she was a chick or not
Ohhh man you just brought back memories I had totally blanked out of my psyche. I was even going to rewatch Hunter x Hunter and hadn't had even the tiniest memory of that. Getting through the slow parts was a pain, but the other parts of the show, honestly helped me out on my outlook on life
Yeah. Chimera Ant became a slog in the mid to late arc with a few epic scenes, but overall it could have been condensed by cutting a dozen episodes easily. Example please?
Seven Deadly Sins
I fucking hate the relationship between ban and that fucking child
Nah bro you don't get it shes 3000 years old /s
Author of that manga is a mf pedophile
>Author of that manga is a mf pedophile That's what happens when the Japanese government secretly allows most men to be pedo's.
Eri and Mirio having a weird ass relationship between an adult and a child. Granted I would believe this is a translation fuck up, but still mad weird on screen
Let me guess, she’s actually a 1000 year old demon or something?
No, shes conically a child
The time I gave mista a blowjob
Do none of you remember how thicc Dexter's mom was
Damn, you right. She got her own orbit
Are you seriously comparing the sexism in an avarage anime with the "sexism" in Johnny Bravo?
Damn Rouge was thicc! She deserved her own stand-alone movie!
The thundercats were so.... HMMMM I wanted sum of that Thunderpussy ☺️☺️☺️
That is the fucking word of the day THUNDERPUSSY.
👃💨
Pixar got the inspiration from somewhere

No where near the same lmao

She Thicc
HOLY MOTHER OF THE DAMNED! WHERE YOU GET ALL THAT ASS?!

I wonder why people like this ( I really don't, ) Anyways most anime I've seen is absolutely trash
Lol. That is not a Saturday morning cartoon. Fucking weeb incels trying to justify themselves.
The x-men tv show was on Saturday, you uncultured swine.

Both are glorious and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Weebs trying to justify pedophilia
shut up weeb
Broad shoulders are for women what asses are for men. Put that into perspective here.
Hot, sexy, and smackable?
r/theyknew
I dont like those either
Paleeezee in the 90’s we had heavy metal the cartoon.
Why do you think i watch both then?
👍
Yo Apocalypse got cake dude

WoW that's a good armor
What episode is that? I need to do research. 🔬
**Nami chwaaaann**
Dude I am one of the biggest fuckin weebs you will ever meet and anime is loaded with way more fanservice. It’s fine lmao.
If I were to compare 20s anime against 90s Saturday morning cartoons, I'm still confident the modern anime would be more sexualised than the cartoons from thirty years ago.
Both can be true and one can be more blatant
When I was a kid my favorite show was Totally Spies. Don’t ask me why.
There had to be a reason why I loved that show so much. Also check out art of Psylocke from X-Men 1-20, in the early 90’s. Those artists didn’t hold back.
Dat ass though.
Rogue had that dump truck!
And we should LEAVE IT in the 90s
Hentai
