Sikh man beaten and has hair shaved in punjab surrounded by mob

How is this even possible in the city of Amritsar? This just exemplifies how far we have fallen.
Cutting a Sikh's hair is worse than cutting a Sikh's head. These criminals are sending a public message to the Sikh community and deserve a swift and strong response from the local Sikh Sangat and Jathabandhis.
I doubt anyone is even batting an eye on this. 2 days already, no new coverage, no heat on this at all. Even googling this took quite some effort.
I wonder SGPC closes eyes when such a thing happens.
Something seems fishy about this situation
Wtf ,that too in Amritsar, why is it not being covered on any news outlet ,there is nothing about it to be found. It is just making me so angry that I can't even think straight.Where are the Sikhs in Amritsar does nobody know about this, man even if he was shastradhari he would be put in jail for defending himself,Sikhs need to be there for each other in such situations. There could also be a case where the Sikh did something horrible and was given mob justice which doesn't justify it but explains why he or no one is coming forward.
Something about this case is extremely weird. Why hasn't there been a uproar or even violent retaliation by the mans family, the faces of the mob are easily visible?

Punjab is changing, and it's coming from the centre.
Doesn't change the fact that theres still plenty of Sikhs and we own tons of guns.By now some of the guys in this crowd should have been cornered by the mans family and shot.Something about this case is weird.

Lowest birth rate in Punjab, meaning most Sikhs are older.
> and we own tons of guns.
No we dont. Automatic weapons have been banned for a while now. Only basic rifles. Nothing you could seriously use if the time came.
> By now some of the guys in this crowd should have been cornered by the mans family and shot.
He looks in his 30s/40s. Maybe most of his family are bazurg?
>Something about this case is weird.
No disrespect, but it sounds like you're in denial because the truth is too scary.
The truth being that we are under a sustained and coordinated attack, and we cannot defend ourselves.
I really hope I'm wrong, but this video isnt the first and it's not the last.
So what should we do?
Find other Sikhs who think this way. Go to the Gurdwara regularly. Organise at a community level. Have families. Raise children. Increase our strength.
I've seen a video of a nihang that recently freed a man that was chained, slaved and forced to work on the kidnappers farm without pay. He's been waking up a lot of the youth from what I've seen and maybe he might do something about this if he finds out about it but I don't think he'll get far if Punjab police or the government see him as threat. Sikhs abroad should try to pump money back into punjab so more parchar gets done, more opportunities get made so the youth have a reason to stay. As of right now, the young people there only want to leave punjab because they see it as a lost cause unless they're kids of politicians, police and business owners.
Link to the video please?
Well if the victim was muslim and if goons have made him to just chant jai shri raam, then there would be more reaction and so much of voices would come out from muslim community that it would become a headline in al Jazeera a recognised news paper in muslim country and even it will become headline in various USA media such as such Washington Post ,CNN ,and due to this there would be huge pressure on the local government as well as Central government .
So community should think that what is wrong with them and why they are always been victims and forgotten from world history, but still don't leave a chance when somebody else are in trouble and only at that moment the community appears on the news paper?
What was he accused of?
Nothing that I've seen. They just beat and shaved him.
He was accused of thievery of stealing a few rupees. It's absolutely shameful and downright sickening that nothing has come of those who assaulted the man's kesh.
Heads should be rolling of those who decided to do this.
