Underground Wulfrun Creepers- asking for advice

Underground is a good boot company, been around a long time. I have had 3 pairs of their boots over the last 25 years and all outlasted me and were able to be sold on eBay in decent condition to other people. had a pair of ten eye steel toes, calf high buckled winkle pickers and the tanker boot with the metal plate across the shins. I have never had their creepers tho so I can’t comment on the size but creepers do have a weird shape because of the pointyish toe and the narrow foot so it’s a good question to look into. In general suede is harder to take care of than leather, the texture can pick up grime faster and it doesn’t handle being wet as well. You can brush it with a suede brush to keep it clean and you just gotta sort of keep em dry. Suede is a classic look for a creeper. Essential rocker apparel IMO I would go for it and just take care of them.

Thank you so much for your help! What if suede gets wet when I get caught in sudden rain? Will it be ruined? I don't want to be scared of going outside in these shoes...

There are waterproofing sprays specifically for suede products and you should definitely use something like that like on day one to protect it. Suede is still a leather product, it’s durable, it won’t disintegrate from getting wet but getting wet and drying out over and over over time will strip it of it’s oils and leave it stiff and prone to cracking in the places shoes crease and flex. Just like regular leather but faster and uglier throughout the process. One rain storm won’t do anything like that but it can definitely stain the porous textured surface of the suede and that’s usually what people mean when they say water ruins suede. It stains it. That’s why you wanna use the waterproofing spray, just look it up on YouTube, it’s easy to do. A puddle or a rain shower will just bead up and roll right off once you’ve sprayed them. The only other thing you really need to do is use a boars hair type brush to brush dust and lint build up of fthe shoes once in a while.

Thank you so much for your advice! Honestly, I thought I will get no answers whatsoever. I really appreciate your help. I feel less anxious about ordering these creepers in suede now.
