This is how I used to draw monster trucks in primary school
When you driving home and see the truck you drew in kindergarten pull up on you
except you probably omitted all the important parts being 9" off the ground
It’s inspection day, the mudders are at home.
Yup. Seen this all the time in PA.
FL plates. We don't inspect in FL.
No Bumper height restrictions?
Over 5,000 pounds - nope.
No bumper, no restrictions
Thanks, was wondering why the stock tires were on this.
It looks like a baby’s pram 💀
The pram can take corners faster though
Both occupants of both vehicles will scream at you, at least the baby isn’t throwing slurs
When a Gun and Virga just aren’t enough…BAM💥 48” duche-mobile. Just riiiiiight!
You got the penis size correct.
It’s actual wheels and tires are probably at a different shop being mounted and balanced or it’s tractor tires are on the trailer since they’re not rated for highway use.
Exactly. These are transport tires. That isn't shitty, that truck is built for a purpose
Funny how a lot of people float off thinking about a guy’s penis when they see a lifted truck
You can overcompensate for a lot of things, funny how your mind went to penises.
Hahaha! Got 'em! I think I triggered an overcompensator
Oh boy you got me good! 🏆
Oh yea like what in this situation would you be talking about? You might be the only oddball off the whole post that comes up with something different but…
They're overcompensating for their insecurities. They then tie their entire identity to their physical belongings instead of realizing/acknowledging how much of an absolute insufferable human they are.
They're not all like that, but the majority that I've had contact with are.
I try not to jump to conclusions like most of the cunts here though.
Lots of assumptions here… Could it possibly be that he/she likes the way a crazy lifted truck looks??
They look stupid
There is no purpose where this is the best choice.
Too expensive. Too much liability. Too limited.
Get a fucking CDL and/or some self respect.
What purpose? That thing is useless for any application other than tipping over.
Not any good purpose. Can't do shit for work in it.
Mudding is a perfectly good purpose and that's exactly what this thing was built to do. Would I do it? No. Is this a shitty mod? Also no. Its got a fully fabricated chassis with frame reinforcement, swing arms and remote reservoir shocks. Theres a ton of money and time in this.
Better things to do in life than work
I wish more people had this mindset.
This truck should be on the trailer with the tires as well and not legal for highway use. This truck is basically a 6,000-7,000 pound missile that bypasses the safety features - like bumpers, crumple zones and crash bars - of most other vehicles.
This is a mud truck, florida plates means no inspection, plus he has no rear taillights. i bet the big tires are getting mounted and balanced.
Taillights are integrated in rear bumper similar to the style of corvette round rear taillights on GM trucks. There will not be any big tires in this trucks future.
This is the style they were going for. 100% form over function. Only slightly better than Carolina lean. Totally useless either way.
Oh god they are in the bumper WTF WHY
That still makes the owner a giant piece of shit for driving a vehicle that effectively bypasses all safety measures.
It’s the equivalent of skipping leg day at the gym
...everyday for 50 years or so
That’s definitely not a 48” lift that’s a standard 3 foot or so long king coilover combined with stock specs it’s like a 18” lift
its not really a shitty mod, they put those tires on for daily road use as they roll a lot faster on pavement and its easier to park.
On the weekends they slap on the offroad wheels then drive to the trails
U might b right since it looks like high pinion axles, I thought the axles looked a lil puny an still do. All that lift is gonna make the center of gravity a nightmare an a tipping warning
Also possible that they needed a new set of tires so they slapped these on for now. A minimum of $2000 for a new set of tires is a lot of money.
Assuming their like 45” or so with a lift like that, so a new set will like be a minimum of $5k.
I was about to say my 37s ran over 2k
Personally I'd rather wait till all my shit is ready before driving around looking like an idiot like this guy.
The "right" tires on that truck wouldn't last 5000 miles on the highway and wouldn't be DOT approved anyways. This is the safe and legal way to drive it from place to place.
I doubt it is legal, since the DOT mandates things like bumper heights and it is definitely not safe to other driver. In a collision with a smaller vehicle that truck will most likely go over the crumple zones and crash bars resulting in a very high chance of severely injuring or killing the occupants of the other vehicle.
Things like bumper height are per state law. I dont believe Florida has a restriction for vehicles over 5000 lbs.
It would have to be Florida (I live there). In any sensible state, the regulations for larger vehicles would be stricter as the greater weight/momentum, lower maneuverability and longer stopping distances mean they pose a greater risk to other vehicles.
It tends to be the opposite actually. There are less restrictions on larger vehicles because they are typically for commercial use and need some leeway. The Hummer H2 was intentionally built to exceed a weight limit because at the time anything heavier than that didn't have to report MPG numbers to the EPA.
5000 miles is 8046.72 km
You don’t want to drive on the highway with big ass tires like what this truck could fit. Those really knobby off-road tires aren’t technically legal on regular roads, and they would get worn away so quickly at high speeds. They’re meant for low speed off roading and rock climbing. So he totally could have the correct tires ready to go, and just swapped these on for driving on the highway.
All that said, it still looks really stupid. Plus the truck is basically useless as a proper work vehicle now, so I don’t know why he’d go through the trouble of swapping on highway tires and driving it regularly, you might as well just get a regular car and save yourself a bunch of hassle.
Not disagreeing with you here. The truck looks stupid like this. I wouldn’t drive it like that either. Truck would stay parked until I got the right size tires put on.
Those big tires are probably not highway legal, so the driver might have em towed separately and then attached close to where they're mudding.
How do these things keep from rolling? It just seems like it'd be easy to do with it's center of gravity so high.
Well it's really easy for them to roll, especially when the driver makes a quick steering correction when they look up from their movie or the text they're sending while they drive.
It’s not like you’d think. I daily drove a truck on 54” tires. It was a blast in the mud and always turned heads. You just have to pay attention a little more.
>always turned heads.
Those aren't glances of admiration 90% of the time lol
Zero fucks given, I loved my 20’s 20 years ago.
Straight like that.
I think he meant on these tires. Of course appropriate wheels will do just fine.
That said; how often do you take your mini monster into the woods?
I’m a desert dweller. During monsoon season I took it out every chance I had!
> 54” tires
how the hell do you even get into the truck at that point?
I got 33" tires and I'm 6'3", I have to do a little hop or whatever to get to the seat. I couldn't imagine another 20+ inches of that.
I’m a little shorter at 6’1”. From the drivers side you open the door, left foot on the tire, right arm the seat, left arm on the door panel, right leg into the floor board and boom you’re up.
Edit: a 54” tire only lifts the vehicle 10.5” as half the circumference is up top.
> 10.5” as half the circumference is up top.
ah yeah that makes sense totally forgot about that part.. 10.5" is still quite the difference, but definitely not as bad as I was thinking.
> half the circumference
You're technically both correct. Yay circles!
I’m not sure diameter guy is actually correct. Circumference is correct here, but half the diameter is just a radius. And I’m not sure if the radius is relevant to this particular measurement.
Diameter guy is actually the more correct one. Radius of the tire is center line of the axle. So as diameter increases, the truck gets diameter/2 taller, which is the radius. Circumference increases, but that's a measure of distance traveled per rotation.
Fair enough, circles were something I struggled with the most in geometry lol
How do you get into the truck?
Well if you weight 90kg like I do, you park the truck 300m away and use a trebuchet
Perfect for flipping over with minimal braking.
It will look better when he puts the Super Swampers back on it.
No fucking way. I saw that same truck yesterday.
It's a mud truck on road tires. This sub is good for a few every week.
So it gets even shittier
That's like, your opinion man
Well, those are definitely the placeholder wheels and tires
It’s not the lift and smaller tires that gets me, that I understand.
It’s the shaved tail lights and roll pan that does. Did this use to lay frame and then they decided they wanted to off-road? Owner had a mini-truck before this and the styling continued on to the new truck? That roll pan ain’t gonna be happy when it hits something while it’s off-roading.
They do this to lower the lights to meet the maximum height allowed for lights front and rear. Each state is a bit different on those regulations.
It’s the exhaust tip that gets me…
Oh the exhaust is awful but it’s also so common I forgot about it by the time I made the comment.
Buddy has colour matched door handles, mirrors and bumpers... but the fuel fill hatch is black
The mirrors are odd too, they look like they're from a later 90s jelly bean f150
Why's nobody talking about that muffler? Totally not compensating for anything about the driver
The whole truck SCREAMS tiny penis right wing hick
Skipped leg day I see
At least it appears to have a proper four-link on it.
looks like just transport tires since normal ones probably get torn up on the road, looks like a mud truck.
Helps on gas mileage. You don't always want the big tires on. Lol
Oh god the exhaust. Why?
Was this on i75 yesterday heading southbound? If so it turned my head
Why you don't skip leg day
Inspection day, I swear I put more work into my car before and after inspection than I do the rest of the year.
Nope. Florida plates and we don't inspect.
Weird choice then lol, must be nice living in a state where winter doesn't melt the steel into rust on your car! Half our dealerships haul your old cars up here so we can get the last two years out of them
I'm less than a mile to the ocean, so I get plenty of salt spray, but it's usually the roof rusting before anything else.
Forgot about that stuff. For me it's things like subframe or wishbones
Reminds me of an ironing board
Edit: wait does it just not have taillights or are they painted body color with like translucent paint?
They are located in the roll pan
Why would anyone do this to their truck is beyond me. I can't imagine how that truck handles flat elevation turns.
Monster trucks do this same exact thing, they have one set of wheels and tires for transport and another set they put on when it's time to party.
Wouldn't the suspension have to be more capable to handle monster truck tires?
For legit monster truck tires yes, for something a lot bigger than these wheels and tires but still not quite Monster Truck size, no. The suspension on this thing is actually pretty beefy and looks like it was done properly.
They do it because this truck isn't for flat elevation turns. Its for mudding and off roading. This is either to go get something else done to it or they're not allowed to drive with the tires its meant to have, or they don't want to run their mudding tires on pavement.
Narrator: it's never been mudding or off road.
The body paint matched control arms tells me this thing is a mall crawler. And the 12" exhaust tip.
How does painted suspension and an exhaust tip mean it's never been off-road? If your already spending the several thousand dollars needed for a build like this of course you would paint those control arms, hell they're basically eye level man, I'd want to look at well painted nice looking suspension.
V e r y s l o w l y.
Small Dick Energy
Don’t post lifted trucks here people with small peepee’s get mad.
The taller the lift the shorter the shlong
Dang people with stanced cars must have massive dongs
I have a stanced truck cannot confirm
I think it's more of a bell curve
That makes sense
When u want make a monster truck but payday is only once a mounth
I bet Florida Man is driving it.
Waiting for the next stimulus check...
Military discharge check came up 4 swampers short...
2mph wind will tip it over.
Y'all are morons
This is driven by the type of person that gets a hate boner whenever they see a Prius or Tesla.
Hate body lifts like this
Where’s the body lift? That’s a full coil over lift kit
It’s actually a well built truck. It’s got full King coil overs. I bet it rides like caddy.
If this car was a person... well... you know the circus clowns who walk around on stilts?
If this truck was a person, they’d be all legs and no torso, and they’d wear a size 5.
What color chassis lighting? It makes a difference, you know.
A high wind will turn this baby into a sail boat.
Drivers passing by: why this highway smell like sh\*t?!?!? Never mind.
Two things, this truck has never been off-road and the owner has a tiny penis
Shaved taillights too?!
More dollars than sense.
Thank for telling us you know absolutely nothing about cars
dosnt do much since the dif is only like 10 in off the ground
Come on man
yeah good luck turning at more than 3 mph. i hope that thing drops but somehow i doubt it does.
Tell me you have a tiny pp and shitty taste with out saying it.
\*\*"Wheels and tires don't come with the truck"
Hopefully he’s headed to buy the tires and wheels to match that lift.
Talk about digital zoom.
Normally when I see things like this posted I'll look out for the following. Is the front drive shaft connected? is it as clean as a show room fresh car? does it have a lot of cosmetic mods or any expensive stuff that would be counter productive to a off roader, mudder truck?
This I'm fairly sure is a show truck just on whatever daily wheels he's got laying around to make life easier.
By the rules of the sub it can be well done and shitty and I'd think this fits that.
You laugh but he'll be king when Florida is mostly underwater
Some real Inspector Gadget-level shit.
Of course it’s Ocala
Everyone where making fun of him... Until the flooding come.
No taillights and a 50 gallon barrel for the exhaust
I like lifted trucks but not THIS lifted
Someone missed leg day...
Tired of not tipping over when taking a slow turn? We can fix that!
“Dems ma street tires”
I shrink out of sympathy
Where are the tail lights?
Next paycheck man, I'll buy a tire a paycheck.
Mom said it was my turn to use the dumbbells
Phenomenal cosmic truck lift! Itty-bitty stock tires
The center of gravity on that car is so high, a small fart could knock it over
Never skip leg day
Wonder what blows more shit out the ass, that truck’s tail pipe or his hippo ass
How the radio though?
Uhhh... Did he also *delete* his taillights?
more like a 6 inch lift, and those wheels and tires are just for transport.
Tell me you skip leg day without telling me you skip leg day.
Not surprised this is in Florida. How do you have a wanker that small???
I knew it was Florida before I even saw the tag.
Poor thing skipped leg day
My big tires are in the shop.
NEVER MISS LEG DAY!!!!!!
100% chance this truck has never gone off road.
Somebody been skippin leg day.
Next tax return
Looks like shopping cart 😂
Florida! Of course. I was so close, I would have said Texas or California.
That is the saddest monster truck I've ever seen
It would look better if it had like 37” tires, oh and ya know, tail lights??
Wouldnt need to lift it on 37s. a little trimming some flares and save $4500 on suspension parts. But that makes no sense as that would increase ground clearance and this guy obviously doesnt care about that. He would rather show off how much money he has (or used to have) while doing nothing but hurting the performance of his vehicle.
I mean, you have to be very insecure or yourself to bother to raise your center of gravity two or three meters, with the corresponding safety penalties, while at the same time leaving your whole transmission system at the same, stock height.
It blows my mind when I see these kinds of lifts. The axles are still low so what’s the point of raising the body of the truck? You still have the same clearance as a regular truck. You just need a ladder to get inside though. 🙄
Gotta see over that traffic!
The real "never skip leg day"
Someone needs to remind this guy that bigger tires are the only way to get more ground clearance. Lifts are only.to.clear bigger tires. This guy has to have a ladder to get in and still smacks his axles on speedbumps. Idiot
