Same, I even moved it to a bathroom so I could smell it better, and it was still weak af! I bought 2 of the candle samplers in hopes to redeem both for the Replica one since it was such a steal, but now I’m nervous. I did just redeem one today online for the Replica one, because I didn’t want to *burn* through two certificates on that one if it ends up being just as weak. I’ll keep ya posted when I get the full sized one delivered.
Ok thank you :) I'm hoping it's just that the samplers we're sitting around for months somewhere and got old, candles do go bad after a couple months and start to lose their scent. I've been watching candle care videos on YouTube lol

Now I'm burning another mini candle but this one is from voluspa and it's goji and tarocco orange and I can't smell anything from this one either :( it smelled more before I lit it!!! I'm starting to think mini candles are the problem and maybe I'll have better luck with a bigger candle.
Oh sorry this is from a different set, the candle advent calendar from voluspa. I hate the smell of that so called lavender one, it smells like cheap public bathroom soap, I would maybe like it if it smelled like good soap but nope. It smells like baby powder too
Yeaaaaa! I’m a pretty huge fan of lavender, but when I smelled that candle I was wildly disappointed. It smells like a beach themed bathroom from the 90s.

Okay, checking back..I just got the full sized By the Fireplace candle, I’ve had it burning for almost and hour now, and I can’t smell it :( I even have it in my bedroom for a smaller space. I wouldn’t personally redeem for it.

Maybe if you burn it until the whole top surface of the candle is melted it will smell more? If the surface area of the candle counts for it to smell more maybe it just didn't melt enough in an hour?
I kept burning it for a few hours until the whole top layer was melted (thanks to that video you shared!! Lol)..and the throw didn’t seem to get any stronger. :/
Welp that blows, I'm wondering if they are ineffective in certain size rooms? My bedroom is about 10×20×8 and I burned a big candle from ipsy yesterday and I couldn't smell it further than a foot away from it. Made me sad bc from what I could smell it was really delicious :(
If you like the boy smells one, those candles really permeate. I love their scents!! I got the sampler set too and I’m going to use the voucher for that one
Really? I heard from someone that the boy smells candles have a weak scent/throw. Maybe they got a bad batch? I originally bought the 3 candle set from boy smells but out of the three I only liked Les so I just exchanged it for another sampler set so I could get Les and By the fireplace
Less surface area for the molecules to evaporate. I’m not a scientist though I’m just guessing. The wide 3 wick candles are always stronger than the small single wick ones IMO
I have the mini votive from the Sephora candle set & it packs a punch! The full sized one is pretty strong even when unlit sitting on my bathroom vanity.
I have the regular size candle and found it to be a bit weak. Not much throw to it unfortunately. I even moved it onto my nightstand and the scent is so faint. It was gifted from a friend but I probably wouldn’t purchase it for $78 CAD, even with a rouge discount. Honestly save your money!

That’s so weird, both of my sets Voluspa are French Lavender. They smell stong af, but smell more like soap than lavender.

Why would a mini candle be weaker than a big single wick candle?

I had said a big single wick candle, a double or triple wick will always smell stronger.
