More info: The man’s name is Buckland Darrell and he allegedly had sexual contact with a minor male under 10 years of age while attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Redmond. He’s been charged with 1st Degree Child Molestation, and has also been charged with 1st Degree Child Molestation from an incident in another jurisdiction in King County with a different victim.
The two cases have similarities in that both victims were male, under 10, and the incidents occurred near or in the presence of the victim’s parents.
Darrell has attended many church gatherings and events, and police believe there are potentially more victims. They’re asking anyone with information to call the Redmond PD tip line at 425-556-2500.
