Hey, this is some amazing work!! But what is that liquid you used? Is it water or some type of glue? And also, that clear sheet you used to carve smoother lines; what's the name of those?
I’m not sure if it’s the same stuff, but you can be fake water that’s generally found near the fake flower section of hobby stores. It’s usually used to make fake flower arrangements and give the impression the flowers are actually in water. As for the plastic they used to make subtle texture lines, it can be any plastic wrap from pretty much any packaging.
Below is a link to "Craft Water" which is what I was referring to. There are also a bunch of epoxy fake waters out there. Again, I'm not positive that's what OP was using, but I'd guess they are using one of the epoxies.

I've always wanted to know what type of clay is used when making work like this-- is it an air dry? Oven bake? How do you doooo it?
