I've only went to Vi Pei for an anniversary dinner but didn't have a good experience unfortunately. I'm a little hesitate to try their breakfast menu lol
Well I can assure you it's lovely. I go there once a month for brunch with a group of friends and have been doing so for several years. If you want to try the Queen St location that's also an option too. VP & Queen.
Gingerman on Vic Park just south of St. Clair. West side of the street, so technically EY but anyone who wants to argue semantics can get stuffed - and not with tasty breakfast.
Yes this place is great! Good portions for a good price.. at least when we use to go when we lived in scarbs. Also a lot of ppl we know also love it!!! Great bennies too!
Just the other side of Vic Park, but Rise and Dine on St Clair, just before O’Connor. Such a great breakfast. Super fast, friendly service and the food is consistently good.
I live at Gerrard and ~~danforth~~ Vic park and just discovered this thread. I usually go to halibut house. Been meaning to try quarry, but then I see other comments here about gingerman. Idk what to do. Fuck it, McDonald’s is easier.
Edit: I’m tired
Markham Station at Sheppard and Markham
Second this
> Markham Station Ohh looks good, I always drive by this place. Will try tomorrow :D
It really is a Scarborough classic spot. Dare I say legendary
24 hour and service is always amazing. The food blows though.
Yup good place.
Panagio at mccowan and sheppard
Went there recently and really enjoyed it. Good food, fantastic servers and reasonably priced too.
I just noticed this place for the first time the other day, now I’m curious.
Rosemary and Thyme, on Vic Park between Huntingwood and Finch. Love going here for breakfast!
YES! Their cinnamon roll pancakes and their apple pie pancakes are out of this world!
Vi Pei on Kingston Rd is wonderful :)

Panagios on McCowan
My regular spot is Amigos on Old Kingston Road
If you’re trying to keep it Greek: Athens at VP and Shepard. Also Mirage at Kennedy & Lawrence.
So, I know it’s not Scarborough but Evivva at Yonge & Sheppard has one of the best brunches in the city IMO. https://evviva.ca/north-york/
I always liked cora
But they don’t have steak and eggs.
Have you tried Joe’s?
Markham Station & Amazing Ted’s
