Kathy’s grill, pho metro, kabob guys, jatujak
You have great taste
Kathy’s is bomb.
Kabob guys is awesome
Harry’s is better than Kathy’s when it comes to burgers
So many spots on Lawrence Ave between Victoria Park and Kennedy.
Sumaq, Ghadir, Harry's Burger, Top Gun burgers, Big Moe's, Sam's Ribs and Hot Chicken, Karahi Boys to name a few.
Mexitaco, Vi Pei, Lonzo's Kitchen (A+), Saltys Grill
I actually was searching around and just heard about lonzo’s and salty’s def gonna check those out too! Thanks!
Lonzo's is addictive. Similar to PitaLand.
What do you recommend trying there?
Their menu is pretty straightforward. I always get their chicken and rice. They smother it in this amazing sauce. I had it last night after my workout. They have other items on the menu too.
Lonzos doesn’t open till I think 4-5
What’s Mexitaco like? I live about 10 minutes away from it.
I personally love their Arrachera platter.
They are pretty authentic tasting IMO.
Will have to hit them up sometime.
Johnny burgers my fav
I worked a few minutes walk from Johnny's for many years. I never understood the appeal aside from it being cheap and quick, and the old school vibe. Esquire Restaurant, basically next door, has a better burger in my opinion.
Cheffys is a newer spot that is pretty good on O’Connor. They serve Indian street food. They don’t have a website but you can google and check out the reviews for yourself
Excited to check it out!! Thank you!
[Nanthas](https://www.nantha.com) lunch combo, rice and curries.
Bao Mama. Great Asian/Filipino fusion steamed bao burgers.
Lawrence and Brimley there is a food truck - Chainsmoke Urban Barbeque. You can get some great food and eat in the park across the street.
Jatujak is my absolute favourite
Scarborough is big. You might want to narrow it down a little bit, unless you have a 2 hour lunch break.
Four hour lunch break...
Sumilicious, Great Fountain, Fat Ninja Bite
The Real McCoy, best burgers and pizza in the entire city. Hands down!
The Fry, near Birchmount and Sheppard. Great Korean fried chicken.
Hakka Palace near Science Centre!
62 Overlea Blvd, Unit 8
Lots of other Hakka restaurants in Scarborough, too (Indian-style Chinese food)
I can't really recommend anything, but I am calling Scarborough Scarbs exclusively from now on.
Thanks, good post!
Any suggestions for pescatarian/ vegetarian options in the east (Port Union / West Hill)?
Lamannas for vegetarian lasagna, abt $10 but it's pretty great
