Their SOTDRT education is seriously tragic. Even if you've never seen a jellyfish, the literal name describes it. Something called a jellyfish would not have a damn shell.
Right? This is not normal behavior for people in their late teens and early 20s, and several of the kids are that age at the time of the video. They seem like six year olds here, both in how they act and speak.
Definitely the most annoying thing I've shown my partner from all the weird stuff I follow- he now loves saying Mahmo randomly and loudly. I've never regretted telling him anything more than this!
Gosh its kinda sad. Are they just...delayed? Or is that what happens when a kid doesn't get enough intellectual stimuli? I had a very sheltered childhood and always felt behind. It was so nice to get out and consume...everything. Timothy needs that.
That is a sand crab. They will bury themselves in the sand if they are exposed. You can actually pick them up and put them in your hand. They are harmless.
It is just so much more cringey and terrible every time I watch this and hear him say that. It’s so bizarre it sounds like it has to be a goofy SNL character.
This kind of excitement would be cute for little kids but these are teenagers and actual adults getting excited about cray-obs in the say-ond. It’s so damn sad.
Hey now I'm 37 and get excited by all the cool crabs and other shelled critters in the sand. But then again I'm also a nature enthusiast so I get excited about pretty much everything outside. Earlier today I got super excited because the Shumard Oak trees were finally starting to get their red autumn color.
I’m glad you have that quality. It’s nice to be excited and have passions. I probably didn’t express myself as well as I could have. There’s just something about their reactions that is off and I’m not sure how to describe it.
Are you and my husband related? My husband takes pictures of trees. He likes to collect tree pictures throughout the seasons. It is really freaking cold right now and the trees are still not naked. He takes pictures of birds, foxes, and animals. He likes raccoons. I get all upset about dead animals. I always think it is some kind of contagion. Such as hemorragic fever.[http://www.kswildlife.org/ww/sick-and-dead-deer-reported-in-eastern-kansas/](http://www.kswildlife.org/ww/sick-and-dead-deer-reported-in-eastern-kansas/) or bird flu or as I call it birdie fever [https://www.ksnt.com/news/kansas/kda-warns-of-sudden-death-bird-disease-in-kansas/](https://www.ksnt.com/news/kansas/kda-warns-of-sudden-death-bird-disease-in-kansas/)I do not hunt and my husband loves fishing. Here is an interesting article. [https://www.ehuntr.com/two-whitetail-bucks-found-dead-with-antlers-locked-together/](https://www.ehuntr.com/two-whitetail-bucks-found-dead-with-antlers-locked-together/)So I get plenty of wildlife reports.
I am partially deaf. I have good days and bad days. I cannot hear myself talk sometimes when I have a cold. Couple that with texas accent and I talk funny. I know I talk funny.
Is Timmy hearing impaired? Deviated septum? Sinus issues? Ear issues? Or is he just loud and slurs his words like he is drunk on jesus.
I believe Nurie is hearing impaired, and she basically raised all of them so that probably affected the younger siblings speech a lot. Plus Nurie may not be the only hearing impaired child, just the only one they noticed.
The Rods kids have such stunted development. What a disservice to isolate children from “worldly” events. The IFB really took that idea to a new level when I see these kids and their lack of development. That entire religion is fear based.
Yes! There’s another one saying it too. It might just be a thing for them. Which like, I love for comedic purposes.
Alsooo Who says “Samuel, be careful!” It’s so funny
THATS THE FIRST TIME I HEARD MAHMO!🤣 at first I thought they were making some weird noise and then I had to go back and listen to it. WAF! Timmy’s never gonna get married!😂
Does a longer version of this video exist? When he says, "Take a picture of us just sitting in the sand, 'cause it would --" I always wonder why he wanted the picture taken.
STOPPPPPP!!! 💀💀I literally thought y’all were just making that word up🤣 holy hell the way he talks is just 🤯 it sounds like a character they’d make up in South Park or Family Guy
My mans, does anything look remotely jelly on that. 🙄
But Jill is a good teacher. This is why her son has to have a placement test and probably ended up in remedial courses in college. (Not dogging that, just Jill)
That’s not a crayab that’s a jellyfiysh
Their SOTDRT education is seriously tragic. Even if you've never seen a jellyfish, the literal name describes it. Something called a jellyfish would not have a damn shell.
Didn't they also think a goat was a llama.
🤯
MAHmo teeeyaaayke a piktchur ov us jeeust sitting in the seeeyand
mɑmoʊ! teɪik ə ˈpɪʧər ʌv ʌs ʤɪst ˈsɪtɪŋ ɑn ðə seɪænd!
*the void has entered the chat*
Yay!!! Thank you for posting this. It's worse than I thought 🤣

I came to say this!! The only thing funnier than watching this over and over is reading the comments! 🤣
I wonder cognitively how far behind these kids are ... especially the boys.
Right? This is not normal behavior for people in their late teens and early 20s, and several of the kids are that age at the time of the video. They seem like six year olds here, both in how they act and speak.
Every time this pops up, I have to watch it too many times.
I swear I heard several exclamations of "Mahmo!" Is this what they call her on the regular or is that just.... the way they talk?
I tried listening to them I just cant. She calls herself mama but I've seen other comment on Mahmo before. A lot.
It vaguely sounds like momaw, like a weird amalgamation of mom and mamaw with a funky accent, but I seem to be the only one to hear this.
DEAD. 🤣💀 Is the person that said that 5? TF is up with their voices
Tim is somewhere in his 20s. Their voices are the result of limited exposure to outside voices
Seriously so disturbing. And sad
Definitely the most annoying thing I've shown my partner from all the weird stuff I follow- he now loves saying Mahmo randomly and loudly. I've never regretted telling him anything more than this!
Nah. You should not regret it. He is a keeper for retaining Mahmo and using it.
My kids are close to Tim’s age and I don’t remember the last time they asked me to take a picture of them.
Gosh its kinda sad. Are they just...delayed? Or is that what happens when a kid doesn't get enough intellectual stimuli? I had a very sheltered childhood and always felt behind. It was so nice to get out and consume...everything. Timothy needs that.
Well in that case, you obviously don’t let them spend enough time just sitting in the sand.
But fr…is he saying “Mama”? Their speech patterns are so odd. (And that’s coming from someone with a Texas accent)
That is a sand crab. They will bury themselves in the sand if they are exposed. You can actually pick them up and put them in your hand. They are harmless.
That poor lil cra-yub being flung and messed with by the Rods 🥺 It couldn't bury itself to hide fast enough.
They're unreal 😅
Every time i hear this i think of Stuart and his mom from Mad TV….
“MAHMO, look what I can do!” *Proceeds to kick his own butt when running fast in yard*
Same!
SAME. Not gonna speculate in writing but I'm speculating a lot of things here.
“Samuel, be careful”
I love Samuel be careful
That's a man eating crab for sure
It is just so much more cringey and terrible every time I watch this and hear him say that. It’s so bizarre it sounds like it has to be a goofy SNL character.

I almost envy their child like wonder

I was going to say, I'm 45 and I might just get this excited lol
I hadn't heard of Shumard oaks, so I looked them up. Now I'm excited, too!

What wait? Do we know for sure she is or is it just a rumour/observation? Cuz that would explain a lot
I've only ever heard speculation on this but would love to know if there's concrete evidence bc it would make a lot of sense
Where did you get that info if you don’t mind? I’ve never heard anything about that (no pun intended)
The Rods kids have such stunted development. What a disservice to isolate children from “worldly” events. The IFB really took that idea to a new level when I see these kids and their lack of development. That entire religion is fear based.
I still can’t believe this is real. Why does he sound like a 5 year old.
Because cognitively, he is.
Creepier everytime I see it
Mods, this should be a pinned post!
This whole time I thought y’all were exaggerating 🤯 This is really…something
I really wish I knew how to make that my ringtone… if anyone knows how to do it for an iPhone, I would love you forever 😂
This worked well for me! https://www.applavia.com/blog/how-to-turn-a-video-into-a-ringtone-on-iphone/
It’s the “Samuel, be careful” for me b
I didn’t even notice him say that wait that’s soooo funny
Yes! There’s another one saying it too. It might just be a thing for them. Which like, I love for comedic purposes. Alsooo Who says “Samuel, be careful!” It’s so funny
Tim
THATS THE FIRST TIME I HEARD MAHMO!🤣 at first I thought they were making some weird noise and then I had to go back and listen to it. WAF! Timmy’s never gonna get married!😂
I’m surprised they were allowed to wiggle their butts to sink themselves into the sand.
Omg thank you. Now I can show my hubby.
Genuinely woke up at 3am the other day with this line stuck in my head 😂
Does a longer version of this video exist? When he says, "Take a picture of us just sitting in the sand, 'cause it would --" I always wonder why he wanted the picture taken.
I think it's because they were sitting with their feet deep in the sand like Nathan was. They were trying to sink. Edit: that was the whole video.
I’d never seen this before today. It truly did not disappoint 😂
It's peak Rod
STOPPPPPP!!! 💀💀I literally thought y’all were just making that word up🤣 holy hell the way he talks is just 🤯 it sounds like a character they’d make up in South Park or Family Guy
I actually cannot stop laughing because MAHMO is just so out there 😂😂😂😂
As someone who’s going to school for marine biology, this hurts to see them call a crab a jellyfish 💀
My mans, does anything look remotely jelly on that. 🙄 But Jill is a good teacher. This is why her son has to have a placement test and probably ended up in remedial courses in college. (Not dogging that, just Jill)
This should be a pinned post, but yeah, I feel sorry for them, too. A couple of them seem a little unhappy to me. Especially the funniest.
They all sound high AF
That will haunt me lol. Why can't they just leave things alone?
This will never get old
I...oh my.
Thank you!!!!! I’ve never been able to find the full video!
It never gets old.
This will never not be funny. 😂😂
Omg thank you for posting this!!!
😂
Where does that accent come from? Seriously.
