Yes, the problem is, you are using an arabic (?) font, which is read from right to left, yet you use indentaion from left to right. You have to bind your text to the right side and indent from there

xk4rimx

yessssss now it work thx

xSliver

I know that the Matrix is coded top/down but are there right to left cases/programming languages?

ChrisHisStonks

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qalb\_(programming\_language)

animatrix37

"We want a recent graduate with 10+ years of experience with Qalb, Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, and Quickbooks, pay starts at $13/hr"

Tard42

When I looked at the Hello World example on the wiki page, I first wondered why it was blank, until I realized that I was looking at the left side of my screen ...

Benzerka

Oh god, i spent way too long wondering why the code box was blank

thGlenn

Doesn’t python have strict indentation rules?

TheodoeBhabrot

Kind of? You can make it any number of spaces as long as each block is on the same indentation, Should work right to left if the Ide is set up but who knows

FracturedPixel

Haskell if I recall

IAmANobodyAMA

Befunge uses all directions! https://esolangs.org/wiki/Befunge

MooseWeird1162

Hedy does support arabic from right to left, check it out xd

shwarzee

But how to handle the Create() ? Create().ArabicStuff?

FinnishArmy

Fuck that.

the_vikm

That's not a font

[deleted]

Ya gotta read it diagonally

recepcavusoglu

You should put بِسْــــــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِارَّحْمَنِ ارَّحِيم at top

Reasonable-Issue3275

thanks brother now my api response with `halal` message on `200` status code

recepcavusoglu

Masallah brother

Musfab

Add Jazakallah at the end in case of memory leak

tprocheira

I have absolutely no idea what is going on, but I love how some people are actually trying to help

Successful-Argument3

> Yes, the problem is, you are using an arabic (?) font, which is read from right to left, yet you use indentaion from left to right. > You have to bind your text to the right side and indent from there The thing is, I thought this was a troll, and it was the solution

dbarahona13

Still not sure. Someone mentioned the bomb.py at the top

Successful-Argument3

The OP replied to this comment saying it fixed the problem...

Equal_Brother

Trolls can’t play along. It’s the law.

dbarahona13

I think it's a stretch of the imagination either way

RoadsideCookie

That's just a hint of casual racism by OP, who is a piece of shit for it. Edit: But yes, it does confirm that's a joke and not an actual call for help. In case you needed more proof, he marked his post as OC, and this is r/ProgrammerHumor. There's no way this isn't a joke lol.

dbarahona13

Yes a hint. Just a fleck /s

sanderd17

I know one thing, I'm not trying it. Typing Arabic a a bit of a nightmare. I once found myself debugging some Arabic translation issues and it drove me mad. The arrow keys work in reverse, just as the backspace, so in a mixed content file (like a translation file), the cursor just jumps around to wherever it likes to go. Even when selecting with a mouse cursor, the selection jumps around. Characters are also connected, so it's hard to do simple things like counting the number of characters. And even worse, when you start deleting characters, the other ones change their shape. Long story short, I'm not doing that again.

SabeDerg

I'm kinda thinking it's partially a troll but actually looking for answers. Not sure what the actual code does but bomb.py almost seems like they were coding in that language then saw a chance at a funny while also asking a question.

Luna2442

😄

Naive_Drive

>wake up >remember I can't program in God's holy language >day instantly ruined

lwieueei

There's still HolyC

GregsWorld

Holy cow?

Generic_Echo_Dot

It's Hindu! Edit: Hindu, not indian

Musfab

It’s hindu not Indian, Muslims live in India too

Generic_Echo_Dot

Oh okay. I'm sorry in that case

Hlorri

You're sorry there are Muslims in India? Hey - thought police! Arrest this person!

Generic_Echo_Dot

Twitter be like

Shooppow

There’s a chain of burger restaurants in Switzerland called that!

amdc

That’s only for vaticanians, as I was told

navi-is-dead

HolyC is haram. Use JavAllah.

-temporary_username-

I can't even program in my own native language.

alonyer1

<בראשית> נכתב בHebrewTML

Cherklov

Just install TempleOS

doomguycrossing1

Halal code

Free_Gascogne

If there is a bug in the code doesn't that make it haram?

doomguycrossing1

No, its just a mistake, if you correct the bug and ask forgiven from Allah he may accept. Elhamdülillah☝🏿 🤲🏿

lulzmachine

It keeps responding "HTTP 403 Haram" though =/

hootian80

I'll start with the obvious, it looks like you're missing a semi colon...

AliveEstimate4

If you code in arabic languages, does the semicolon go at the start of the line?

hootian80

I guess you put it on the left to end the statement?

brimston3-

It's kind of irrelevant as long as it's before the EOL. Parsers usually just ignore the RTL/LTR markers outside of string literals. But this being snakee lang, it probably doesn't have many semicolons at all.

xk4rimx

thiss snakee lang

dr_donkey

Then that's the problem. Should have used Assembly, much better & faster.

feibu

Na. It's a python.

Boolzay

Arabic is my native language, I would sooner code in binary than in Arabic lol.

MischiefArchitect

it should be 60*60*24

xk4rimx

but me want to party 60 hours

[deleted]

Based

HavokSTL

That’s a lot of computer worms.

Oneshotkill_2000

That is not Arabic, that is a mess. Also i could understand that you wrote "the bomb" and the "period = 60\*60\*60", as the usual joke. But that is not arabic karim. Learn your arabic brother

baptimentdubtp

fr though I'm learning arabic and those letters clipping into each other makes it awful to read

OrangAsliIndo

Best thing I can do is to say "AMEEN" to every arabic word.

Musfab

Dude tried so hard to make a terrorist joke but failed. This is not even arabic or any language. Idk wtf have you literally written. Also that bomb.py, good one

whateverDudeldc

he didn't fail.

Musfab

He messed up the dialect, it’s not even proper arabic, just copy pasted google translate

whateverDudeldc

who cares? arabic is arabic it's just weird symbols. we get the joke regardless

picasso2005_

You forget to قنبلة استيراد

tprocheira

Someone please tell me if this is a joke or not LOL

Neradje

It's not a joke this code is about bomb making

picasso2005_

(for legal reason, yes it's a joke)

xk4rimx

this not problem. line 1 say من ادوات استيراد متفجرة

BobLobIawLawBIog

Instead of a semi colon, you need to end each line with "peace be upon it"

Grtz78

Did you try running it on [Vatical](http://www.gksoft.com/a/fun/vatical.html)?

ShadowWolf_de

What the fuck did I just read?

poopadydoopady

A paper on Vadikal by [KGB REDACTION].

Hlorri

My guess is you didn't.

ShadowWolf_de

I did and that sounds horrible

Hlorri

Oh. Then you are one up on me. I had some German in middle and high school, but not enough to even get started on this.

Grtz78

I tried google translate on it. So much fun ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)

Grtz78

On the plus side: I didn't find a manual in English. But I didn't dare to look for one in latin ...

LittleMlem

Absolutely Haram!

MichalOtto

I am sorry I can't debug noodle# code.

dopplertrain

File name sus

zakiteru

what pisses me off more is that they didnt rewrite the function Create() in arabic

ThinCrusts

Last line reads: return bomb lol Side rant: It always erks me to see arabic written like that.. Arabic is written/read right to left but whats going on in the pic above (and have noticed it in many movies too) is that they translate each word, and write it left to right, with each letter separate instead of connecting them together.

KoKonutted

'bomb.py'...

agent_double_oh_pi

Yeah, spotted that too. Gonna end up on a list.

733_1plus2

Happy cake day!

rowenslee

please report to local police..

7_overpowered_clox

Nope, it's meant to start from the other end

kshitijkythe

I would love to help you, but my imposter syndrome just kicked in.

CreaZyp154

Spaghetti coding taken to a whole new level

Lau955

Sorry i don´t speak noodles

[deleted]

Here's the sokution: # برنامج للعثور على منطقة المثلث a = 5 b = 6 c = 7 # أدناه لأخذ المدخلات من المستخدم # a = float (input ('Enter first side:')) # b = float (input ('أدخل الجانب الثاني:')) # c = تعويم (الإدخال ('أدخل الجانب الثالث:')) # احسب شبه المحيط s = (a + b + c) / 2 # احسب المنطقة = (s * (s-a) * (s-b) * (s-c)) ** 0.5 طباعة ("مساحة المثلث٪ 0.2f '٪ مساحة)

alvarsnow

All your code is in the opposite direction, HalalC is written right to left

fakedeath91

“عودة القنبلة" literally means, return bomb Hahahaha

engai

I don't know if that was intentional but the declared variable name is "bomb" and this function returns it. Don't know how I should feel about this.

Anti-Dragon

It is written from left to right.

lewolq

The function "allahuakbar()" miss the ';'

thinkjazz

The problem is that it should be 42, not 216,000

SGPlayzzz

The holy language 🙏

claraa_lilyy

Looks like you're missing a Shadda

HexFyber

So is this Holy C or Holy F?

RedditRushi

Ka Boom

WhyIsJSONinMyPhone

nice, I wonder what bomb.py does

Klossye

just learn arabic

Xyamboi

Turn it on and off again

YareYareDaze7

bomb.py Holy shit dude LMFAO

ZoteLeRedoutable

Because you are using arabic font with normal number font /s

ChefKatsuCurry

did you try turning it off and back on?

dumnaya

So there’s no Arabic word for Create.

planktonfun

I'm willing to do electronics instead than to decipher that, at least in electronics its symbol based

VenetoAstemio

import Inshallah

Puzzleheaded_Step468

Did you forget the ;?

dickman00

you forgot a ;

lykan9999

Just noticed the file name DEAD

lazernanes

The first line and the last line both begin with ة, which is a letter only found at the end of words.

itsgnabeok5656

Is the file name bomb.py?

Zuck7980

Wtf

rashnull

Is this the wordOfGod.py

Sl4nix_YT

please stop using arabic

Immediate-Engine4364

Maybe they should go over to stack overflow

nielet

Yes Rico. Kaboom.

slavicman123

Man damn

Kojiro_666

the file 🤣🤣🤣🤣 bomb.py

blazkoblaz

The File name looks kinda suspicious.

marques_filipe

Create is not in the same font

Sudont-199X

Shouldn’t this be right aligned

xCrapyx

This level of troll is so high I am not sure if it's even a troll

sohkrazedd

This code is definitely Halal.

kyay10

``` from tools import Explosive from Explosives import TypesOfExplosives def explode(time: Number) -> Explosion: """Creates a bomb and makes it so it explodes after
Valeniar
Wallahi pray my brother, and insallah your code will compile; but please only follow hallal practices.
Ihatetroon
Do IEDs even require any code to detonate or..?
IHateEditedBgMusic
You need to set allahu = akbar;
patty_OFurniture306
So did the compiler know to read it the other way....I guess it didn't matter because the keywords and system classes are still English? Do the lambda ops point the other way like <= instead of => now I really want to know how this works in non ltr languages
eierwerfer
Pray to Allah?? 🤷‍♂️
ShadowEmperor123
I have literally no idea what any of that says, my guess would be the language used but idk man, I’m American and we like hella dumb
Musfab
If(Language == Arabic){ printf(“\nAmericans are dumb”); } else{ printf(“\nYou are not dumb”); }
Tin1700
This program looks like it's about to crash into the twin towers
forlorn_folklorist
No, worse: it's going to make the towers themselves crash.
