Armiger inbound..my largest wh40k print so far by part numbers.

May your supports hold and your build-plate be full.
Both my built plates are full rofl. Which is impressive given my main printer is a epax e10.
Those dark blue parts are inside out.
Blender's `recalculate outside` will fix that, or other tools can also do the job.
Huh..so thats how that is fixxed, I just remirrored the parts which fix it on a second bed print.
I was curious on exactly what was causing that as there are other models that are the same but are main parts so I can't just recreate em..and lychee didn't detect an error either.
Different slicers handle problems differently. The preview that shows what will actually be sent to the printer is really handy for looking for issues, and always worth a quick scroll through.
Yep, I confirmed the dark parts weren't going to print a tower (a problem I've had in lychee and corrupted models) so i just setup my mars pro to print the few missing pieces concurrently and so I have the missing parts printing right now (I had also missed the legs)
push those pieces close
got some inverted normals
The art of packing a build plate takes time to master :)
I remember starting out leaving lots of space between everything. Now the last thing I printed was a 150% scale Terminun and I’ve got parts tucked in below other parts and things crammed in so close they’re realistically maybe ½ a mm apart just so I can do it all on one build plate.
I've been printing for months and I still can't bring myself to put parts below other parts on my plate. Having something supported off something else makes me nervous.
Not supported off something else, tucked in below it between its supports.
Yeah that's the trick I suppose
Also just realised this was a haiku.
Is this from the place that shall not be named? I’d love to print this out in pieces for terrain
Let me know how this goes - I've tried printing this pre-supported model before and I had trouble getting things to fit together :(
I might've over-cured it though - was pretty paranoid about curing everything 110% when I did my first few prints.
I printed in epax hard white (with a slight mixx of some siraya fast) there was some muddying, but it all fit together..ended up printed a crusader knight as well which is currently printing on both printers, so I'll have a update with both..soon.
