I went to an orchestra show where Williams walked through composting a scene, and it’s really any scene is elevated with music. He did a pretty simple scene and played it with and without music and the difference was striking.
As a 3 year old kid who didn’t see any promotional material for the movie (maybe a poster or something), this shit blew my mind. My dad showed me the original trilogy and the only thing I cared about were the lightsabers. I was too young to really understand anything other than blasters and lightsabers.
I remember thinking “that’s not fair how come that red guy has to fight two people at once?” And then the 2nd saber ignited and I was a forever Darth Maul. It was like a shock factor like how Captain America wields Thor’s hammer in end game. Always saw maul as the underdog since it was 2v1 and he almost won. Dressed as Maul from age 4 till whenever I outgrew my outfit probably like 8-9 or something like that.
Traditionally in Star Wars just with the title sequence in the beginning and the way it is so structured, I always have a musical sequence at the end that is either a celebration or an emotional event.
So easy to please you. They literally just said “I guess two is better than one”
Actually what they said is, “that great writer wrote this in a book already, let’s steal it and give them nothing.”

It's an older code sir but it checks out
crescendo intensifies,,
I love good music in movies. Without it, that scene would just be half as good
And Maul half the bad guy!
It is our time. After Centuries of waiting, the galaxy will be ours.
Traditionally in Star Wars just with the title sequence in the beginning .
That’s later.

It's like watching Albert Einstein or Thomas A. Edison. It's like watching Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods, any genius you can name.
Oh god, now I want to see Albert Einstein fight an Uruk-hai with a lightsaber and force powers. \*furiously boots up stable diffusion\*
If my grandmother had wheels, she would be a bicycle
If even with the music, Maul ended up being only half the zabrak he was at the start of the scene, imagine if there was no music
Well, perhaps I could help you.
The scene would be bad
These movies would be nothing without the music. So many generic sci fi movies during that time. This one stuck because of the music.
John Williams everybody 👏👏
*crescendo intensifies*
*crescendo crescendos*
Ah, yes. This *crescendo* here is made out of *crescendo*.
do-do-do-do-do do-do-do-do-do
Gotta give the London Symphony Orchestra their respect too

The music is amazing
Disney neglected the music for the Sequels and suffered for it.
Put some MF respect on the third act of TLJ. Musical brilliance
I vividly remember being a kid in the theater and going, "TWO?!" because my kid brain couldn't fathom the sheer awesomeness I was seeing.
Okay but Christopher Lee was PUTTING OUT during this entire era of movies.
< Forte fortissimo

It has been so long, and my path has been so dark. Darker than I ever dreamed it could be.
The parallels between what we did in Vietnam and what we're doing in Iraq now are unbelievable.
With a score that great he might as well be a bad ass wizard.
Troll lol lol lol lol, lol lol lol, lol lol lol. Troll lol lol lol lol.
I'm singing it in my head now I love Duel of the Fates, and Twin Suns
Traditionally in Star Wars just with the title sequence in the beginning and the way it is so structured, I always have a musical sequence at the end that is either a celebration or an emotional event.
Troll lol, Troll lol, Troll lol, Troll lol
I haven't thought of that in years, and now the song is bouncing around my brain
TIL the chanting in Duel of Fates is Quenya
Followed by that loud ass lightsaber sound before Maul jumps…perfection.
Don’t be so certain.
You are aware, I presume, that I have some skill in anticipating enemies' tactics from a study of their artwork.
[Ahhhhhhh! Darth Maul! ](https://youtu.be/bWXNHui3k-c)
Revenge. I must have revenge.
This is the crossover content we need
Don't remember hearing the troll song during that scene
