Blizzard could remove her slow. Freeze the ground under enemies, let them slide off the map.

They even allowed it when they did the "joke" experimental in ow1 where we got the dva mech dmg and moira fade jump from. It also had mei ice block doing dmg if you drop on someone, lucio ult doing dmg if you land on someone, bap field only gave 50% reduced dmg, and some more but can't remember off the top of my head.

I press E and either the enemy flames me pr my team flames me. Either way I giggle.

I am so sorry for this wall of text but... Hard Rein Main. If the team doesn't want to let me call cooldowns, call for peel, establish a burn order, countdown Shatters, it's pretty well Deathmatch. So I automate as much typing as I can because I have other shit to do. Six macros per game for the most common things I need to type. Usually two for the beginning, two for mid-game trolls, and two for "Good round!" or "Good game!". Additionally, one on the clipboard of my choosing. If you can predict it, you can automate the solution. I want to do 6 tasks at the start of each game, plus put my team / lobby at ease if I can. #1 Say GLHF. #2 Pass a Turing test. (About 5% of players will think, "Good luck, have fun!" is a GGEZ macro and tilt, or think you are a bot.) It needs to go to General Chat so: "g Good luck, have fun y'all! ". Task #3 Encourage the use of Team Chat. #4 Signal that I have no interest in being toxic. #5 Teach new players the hotkey for joining Voice Chat. With OW2 being FTP, there are always new players around. #6 Join Team Chat myself. This only needs to be in Team Chat, I don't care if the enemy team is using VC. Second macro is: "t Team Chat OP, and you'll get no toxicity from me. (J) j" I would have used one macro for all of it, but needed "Team Chat" to be optional for QP with friends. Two buttons at the beginning of a game, about two and a half seconds for both messages to be sent. It costs me virtually nothing and makes a huge difference over 1000 games. It takes 10 minutes to program a few macros, and they can save you from having to listen to your hair turn grey.

No Torb round ever counts unless you get a hammer kill. It’s a rule.

ok tbh, i've found mei to be less of a problem, mostly cuz i now play lots of ranged or highly mobile heroes like echo, who can burst her down or dash away if things aren't going well, soldier, who can kill her from a distance, etc etc

I guarantee as a mei main I'll cross map you before you cross map me or even mid range me with Ashe soldier or cass lol

Mei is a strong pick against a sniper IMO. Alt Fire is excellent, not to mention Ice Wall to break LOS or trap the sniper with you at close range, Ice Block as a rescue. Mei is the best Off Tank in the game. Fight me nerds.

That little bit you get to adjust your shot from pressing shoot to the projectile actually going makes the biggest difference, with soldiers espically since they love strafing I can always get them to walk into my shot by making that adjustment right after I shot same goes for widow makers, IMO mei is widows biggest counter in the DPS section, a mei that knows what to do that is because that head shot you land will 100% make her move and the no fall off on damage makes it even easier.

My favorite thing to do to Mei is play sojourn and just keep leeching beam energy off shields or their tank in general and just laserblast that eskimo bitch to the shadowrealm in the air from sliding. Her grenade is perfectly paired with Ramatra's slowdown vortex on top of her little icecube. They rarely use their walls to manage to get out.

Solo ults can be hilarious. I was playing Ana and hit a few shots on a Torb and he had maybe 40 HP left. He hid in a corner, just out of sight so I couldn't shoot him but he could not move from that corner so we kinda had a stand off. Then I hear my duo(playing Bastion) use his ult, and I see the circles appear in the corner with the poor Torb.

Here's what you do. Get an ana, sombra, mei, rein, and hanzo on your team (this has to be open queue). Sleep someone, BLIZZARD them, EMP them, SHATTER THEM, and while they're still frozen, nano hanzo and have his arrow from his ult headshot the frozen enemy.

And I thought a point blank Nano Shatter on a half health Mercy was rude. On a completely unrelated note: Don't BM a Mercy too badly if you play Tank. You may get them on your team next game, and they may politely refuse to heal you for your use of ults in the previous game.

I hope for a revival of /r/watchmeidie and I say this as a Mei main.

Flip a coin at the start of the game. Heads for DPS 1/Tails for DPS 2. Spend entire game farming junkrat tires. Only target that one specific person that the coin landed on. Put 100% effort in getting to them with the tire. Wall climb to the top of the skybox and set your tire sensitivity to double your regular sensitivity, just so you can easily make the tire break hands as they try to aim for it, if you need to. Every time you kill them, all chat "Tired of me yet?" ??? Profit.
