op farms karma by spamming top reposts https://reddit.com/r/OopsDidntMeanTo/comments/90zhat/he_was_clearly_kidding/
edit: lol, they blocked me
He has no life
It’s probably a bot trying to farm karma so the account can be sold
So, literally has no life
Not new to reddit but didn't know this was a thing. Oof.
the account has millions of karma and reddit premium. someone is seriously dedicating the time to it.
Someone's out there paying money for Reddit accounts? What is wrong with people?
Advertising companies, and users who want to bypass subreddits minimum karma requirements.
Although, this one is weird given how much karma it has, maybe someone forgot they had this bot running?
He already has 4 million karma i think thats enough
Well at least his username checked out
OP **is** called "blocks"
I honestly font know what karma farming is good for. Why sell the account? What is an account with high karma even good for? I really don't get it.
Ditto. Someone explain this please.
Does more karma make your posts more visible? I thought upvotes for each specific post would only do that.
No but an account that is years old with hundreds of thousands of karma is generally given more credibility than a fresh one
You mean in peoples minds and not by the algorithm? Because I rarely go and deliberately look at someone’s karma. Seems it melt to me that would be *that* useful to advertisers who just want eyeballs on stuff.
I’m always surprised by the amount of people who DO check karma and post history, because I never do
The app I use for Reddit (joey) shows the average karma per day next to everyone's username and it's been really nice. Like this account is 8 months old and has 18k/day, that's obviously not a human number
Only weirdos look up people's post history.
Eh, it can be really useful. If someone is posting something that could be bait you can check their post history and often determine it's not worth engaging with them.
See, like with you typically I wouldn't bother engaging because you are anti-science and anti-women. So I should have spent 2 seconds checking your post history before I replied to you.
I have seen this guy way too many times...
That profile is so sad. Literally spending your life earning fake internet points
He could’ve gotten away from that all fine if he didn’t say “Rlly”
Because a tree stump can’t say no..
Is this supposed to be someone putting a guy down for having too big of a dick?
