It’s a big learning experience. Parenting comes with exp. I had my first son young and it was a lot of learning along the way how to deal with things. But once you went through it your kinda prepared for the next time

>It’s a big learning experience. True. Especially if they dont have any help with raising the kid. >Parenting comes with exp. It really does come with alot of exp >I had my first son young and it was a lot of learning along the way how to deal with things. I'm glad that you got through it and learnt how to deal with things along the way. >But once you went through it your kinda prepared for the next time True because now you know what not to do.

We didn’t have anyone to help babysit or financially.. I remember we used to stand in line 3am for toy drives for Xmas to get him toys. And ironically because we couldn’t afford a babysitter it actually led to my wife and I becoming entrepreneurs due to the flexible schedule we needed. He’s 15 now and we both have successful business. Not to mention we have a 4 yr old now and we are much better prepared.. my advice to anyone that wants a baby.. wait wait until you seen the world started your career and did everything YOU wanted

I freaken love the dedication to make sure your son had toys for Christmas that's soo beautiful. >And ironically because we couldn’t afford a babysitter it actually led to my wife and I becoming entrepreneurs due to the flexible schedule we needed. He’s 15 now and we both have successful business. That's a big positive to come out you guys being young parents at least. I'm glad that It all worked out for you and your wife. >Not to mention we have a 4 yr old now and we are much better prepared.. That's great that you guys are now much more prepared this time round with your second baby. >my advice to anyone that wants a baby.. wait wait until you seen the world started your career and did everything YOU wanted That's great advice.

I think they end up either learning from all the mistakes they made, learn from their own kids, or function as better role models now that they aren't not obligated to take care of their own kid 24/7

I completely agree especially with your last point.

SonicKiwi123

It's probably a combination of all 3

True.

Well, if you were a shitty parent, that sets the bar lower to be better grandparent. Also, being a good grandparent is much easier than being a good parent.
