I'm just worried that if there's WW3 I would be forced to enlist in the military and be sent to an almost certain death. I'm a man in my 20s.

clsetbiguy

Go live live and try not to focus on what you have no control over. You might find out you are stressed out less.

beardstachioso

Lol if its Ww3 you won't feel alone

International-Bit180

Generally impossible to tell. At least significant economic sanctions, which would mean everyone who relies on Russian oil is going to have a bad time (eu). The rest depends on a lot of things.

SakanaToDoubutsu

On a more general note, it's unlikely that Russia would actually invade & annex the Ukraine. They're primarily concerned about the deepening ties between the Ukraine and the EU/NATO. In order to join these organizations a country needs to show that they're boards are stable, these alliances don't want to admit new members just to be immediately sucked into a war over a preexisting dispute. The Russian economy is heavily dependent on petroleum exports to Europe, and a more European Ukraine would easily displace Russia if it became part of the EU, but they don't want to trigger an extremely harsh reaction from Brussels which cuts them off from the Europrean market either, so they'll stick to saber rattling to just keep the Ukraine unstable...

JeffCarew

They will not invade Ukraine - this whole issue is about Ukraine joining NATO. They cannot join if they have a current border dispute that’s why the Russians are in the border. If Ukraine is allowed to join NATO then the USA loads up troops and tanks on the Russian border. Russia is using this tactic to push back the aggressor - the USA is the aggressor here - the Russian move is defensive. WAKE UP!!

SakanaToDoubutsu

The Russians are far more concerned about Ukrainian oil & gas getting into the single market tariff-free than they are about the possibility of US troops in the Ukraine...

Alamata2021

This is some unadulterated bullshit. Did the US force Russia to invade Ukraine and annex Crimea? Are you forgetting that this happened less than a decade ago?

JeffCarew

And the USA did nothing because the Crimea is nothing - same as Ukraine

Alamata2021

So is the USA the aggressor in this situation or not? Please try to make your mind up.

JeffCarew

100% they are NATO wants to surround Russia - Ukraine is a big piece to that. Ukraine joins NATO the USA accomplishes that goal. The final piece to it. The USA is the aggressor here.

Alamata2021

Lmao. Who are you trying to fool? I know blaming all of the world's problems on the US is kind of the done thing, nowadays, but this conflict is entirely down to Russia.
