Not only can the codes be redeemed only once, but they can also expire too. Doesn’t matter if the game is fresh new, if you bought it way past its release it won’t be eligible anymore.
I feel like people sleep on My Nintendo rewards, but at the same time there isn't much to report with the Gold Points since it's basically eShop credit for Switch titles. Platinum Points became more interesting once Nintendo started offering more than just wallpapers though.
You know that you only get a few dozen pennies for each physical game, right? Like, a full priced $80 switch game gives you 80 gold points, which is 80 cents. You get 1% the MSRP. It may be "free money" if you were to buy, redeem, and resell games for the price you paid, but is it really worth it for such little gain?
You would make more simply selling the games for 5 bucks more than you paid for them lmao.
I've tried this when borrowing games from my library. it definitely can only be redeemed once per cartridge.
Your library has switch games? Which country are you in?
Switch, ps, Xbox. Movies too. In Canada. It's like blockbuster without the rental fees.
Oh what. I'm in Canada too, that's awesome. This must be new. Haven't visited the library in a while since I've been buying my books haha.
Specifically Saskatchewan. Not sure about other provinces.
Gotcha!

That’s why I’m only buying games that haven’t hit the 2 year limit yet!
But still if they have had the gold coins collected off them by the first owner then they are gone. Only one time per cartridge. Sorry
Do many people even use my Nintendo rewards at all?
