Plus this post from someone claiming to have seen the new finalmouse as part of their work.
tldr; wireless metal mouse with holes. 4 colours; 3 sizes; 12 variants.

I can already nope the fuck out of most them because of dimensions/specs/bad reputation, etc...
The steelseries leak about their upcoming lightweight wireless lineup looks interesting tho...
A wireless KPU would be godlike, dont understand why ROCCAT wont go for it...its such a small mouse that 72g would be possible.
Might wanna take Vaxee off the list of hopefuls, it's got that sweet sweet Zowie scroll wheel we all hate. 24 step, but nonetheless still the same crappy scroll.
I'm not interested in it for myself personally, but a lot of people here are. Plus there is something nice about new mouse shapes being created by a team with a lot of experience. Vaxee deserves to be on the list.
im liking the design of the shape the most... but in the reviews ive seen the m1 and m2 button wobble is very apparent ... and that scroll wheel is pretty bad also.
i really hope they improve those 2 design issues. need more xm-1 quality mice and maybe they can pull it off
Well tbh them making these decisions knowing full well what the general consensus is just shows they don’t care about any ones input but the guy that made the mouse. This is going to be a mouse that you buy and use for 2 weeks for most people, unfortunately. So yeah people might be excited about it but I can tell you for a fact they could have saved a lot of consumers a lot of grief by not making the same mistakes we’ve been trying to get zowie to fix for years. So if you want a more or less direct copy of a zowie with 6 more actions on that horrible scroll wheel then ding ding I guess you found your mouse. But it might be worth buying something from a company that actually listens to people, not someone who’s cs “pro” still uses scroll wheel for weapon swap.
The purpose for that wheel, while it doesn't feel great to use nor is it good for browsing, is for defined steps during gaming. And it serves that purpose really well. Now they've made it 24 steps instead of 16 steps so it's not as bad for browsing with, it just feels weird with how defined and loud the steps are.
It's not that they're not listening, they pour everything into making their mice gaming-oriented-only.
Shape is still one of, if not the most important parts of a mouse. If the shape catches on, it has solid build quality at a time where many mice don't, it has a "built-in bungee", etc., yeah it might not float your boat but it'll float plenty others.
I would argue that scroll wheel is muscle memory. Recognizing clicks isn’t as efficient as getting the muscle memory down for how long long each stroke is going to actuate x amount of clicks in the scroll wheel. Therefore, having a deep tactile and uncomfortable scroll wheel isn’t helping by any means. If you use scroll wheel for double binds, macros, b hopping, etc. then having these clicks, which are essentially made for weapon swapping in cs (extremely inefficient bind btw), aren’t good.
I can tell they poured everything into the shape but realistically they could have done a lot more to make this mouse more than just another mouse. There are some key things now that are expected by most people and if they had ticked some of those boxes they could have created a much wider audience.
Now to mention how big of a bummer it is for someone to get this mouse and be looking for a replacement within weeks. This scroll wheel issue could have been easily avoided. Putting a pet in this mouse with the FULL knowledge that the majority of users dislike the scroll wheel, is more than just oversight.
I may be fortunate enough to not be affected by shape like other people, but as a result I’m going to nitpick the performance of the mouse. I think shape is extremely important for the majority of people but why not give them more features they can be known for than just the shape I.e xm1 clicks, gpw scroll wheel, g wolves customization etc.
It's not just for scrolling, it's for not scrolling when you click the wheel too. Too many other mice have wheels that do not help with this.
Again, Vaxee doesn't seem concerned at all with making 60g honeycomb mice or following trends that clash with their design philosophy or demographic. Someone who knows what they like, and wants Zowie/Vaxee's next thing, will not hop on this and replace it "within weeks". Most people will not have heard of Vaxee, so I don't think there will be too many people outside of niche communities like this one, who will blindly buy it.
It might not be for you but what they're doing is purposeful - obviously with all the time they put in to their design decisions, they're not oblivious to feedback on their mice from both inside and outside of their demographic.
Not quite sure how "XM1 clicks" and "GPW scroll wheel" are "features". S series clicks are more than good eonugh (in fact, the side buttons are the best on any mouse I've ever used) and the GPW scroll wheel is nothing special besides being hollowed out and potentially a gram or two lighter.
Okay well when you eventually use your scroll wheel for something useful besides switching weapons like macros, double binds, b hopping, tab targeting with macros, double binds on both scroll wheel direction. Then we can talk. If you wanna use your scroll wheel for the bare minimum then hey I guess you found your mouse.
Don't need to make this about me, and I never once said I don't use my wheel for anything besides switching weapons. In fact, the more use cases there are, the more you wouldn't want your wheel to accidentally do something you didn't want, as I said with other wheels being *too* loose and scrolling when clicked.
Which relates back to my other point of muscle memory. If you’re using it for a lot of stuff more than likely you’re gonna need to do it quickly and going three clicks forward, two back, and another two forward in under a second then having a clunky scroll wheel isn’t going to do you any favors.
There is probably going to be "Pro" version which may look like the render you have. (Like Kain series , budget , better , wireless , although im not sure if they're going to release a wireless one this time)
Yes, lets reduce weight by adding holes, but then add weight by covering the holes! But, we'll make it see through so they can see the holes! Someone needs to do a Screen Rant Pitch Meeting type thing but for mice. At least they didn't pull a Vaxee and put in the Zowie scroll wheel.
People forget that there are some people who genuinely don't like the feeling of holes on their mouse. I personally don't care but there are a decent amount of people who prefer the feeling of no holes.
I was so hopeful of the vaxee, still probs going to cop but if the scroll wheel is actually still exactly the same feel then it will go from 100% main to something I’ll use for a bit then onto the next

And there goes my wallet after buying 3 of each.
Finalmeme rumors?

Hyperx throwing in the towel? Hmmm

https://reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/ixggwk/amazones_leaks_roccat_burst_core_wired_68g_ambi/ I would assume it’s this one.
Oh I missed that, seems like it, I really wish it was transparent like the one in my photo looks kind of cool haha

Looks like it but that clear middle is different
Yeah, I believe either the KPU or the Kain had a clear prototype, may be similar.
Oh dang Ambidextrous kain with optical switches? Might be replacing my KPU if that's true
6 days according to their website https://en.roccat.org/
Possibly 3 different versions too, since their other drops all had 3 variants.
sad for me as it's not ergo ..
well roccat has been pretty lacking on ambi action so........ but it would be nice to see their take on some ikari/naga variant
Wireless is probably just for the Ad to look good...would be pissed if this comes out as wireless before my KPU :(
burst PRO 64G
Sawce? Is that that wireless too?
the roccat burst yes it is! look like this will look awesome
moving away from the Kxxx stuff...last time was tyon and nyth
looks like kiro shape successor... info about dimensions?
how is it a leak when they put it in a video?
The video was for their.new keyboard, the mouse was shown only for a second, hinting that its coming soon.
yeah but thats not a leak thats a literal Tease
Sure, not like it was much of a secret anyways somebody on twitter outed them about it already and they have a literal countdown lol
I'd rather have 5g less than have rgb. Take note bois. Rise this to the top lettem know bois.
Heavy LEDs you got
Yes, lets reduce weight by adding holes, but then add weight by covering the holes! But, we'll make it see through so they can see the holes! Someone needs to do a Screen Rant Pitch Meeting type thing but for mice. At least they didn't pull a Vaxee and put in the Zowie scroll wheel.

Fake News >:) Just wait for the next announcement everyone!
Roccat Burst? So it comes with triple click out of the box, just to beat Logitech? :P
Looks like a kpu wireless
not wireless = trash
