That greasefang deck is so steezy, holy shit. [[Tidehollow sculler]], [[fulminator mage]], [[Knight of autumn]], and freakin [[satyr wayfinder]]???? In 2022??? Bringing this to fnm this week fr
The greasefang deck is another spike new brew. He's got three leagues up on his YouTube with the deck so far. I've watched two and he went back to back 4-1's while seemingly not running that hot either. Deck seems pretty legit. You can Coco into the combo with goblin + greasefang as well.
I find it so interesting that the artifact decks still haven't consolidated into a static list. There's a bunch of different versions that all seem to have pretty unique gameplans and none of them are the same week-to-week. The version I like wasn't shown this week but maybe I'll need to check out the Antiquities War. I always loved that card.
Also @OP - the reason piracy charm is played in the UW deck is at least partially for an instant speed Ragavan answer that works well with the Snapcaster package as you just make your opponent discard then snap-discard against the non-Rag decks.
All of these different well performing decks and archetypes, yet people are still crying for more bans. 🙄 the healthier this format gets, the more people want to ruin it.
> Don’t take these League results as true metagame share, as the above removes the # of results.
Not saying you’re wrong but these posts literally come with a disclaimer.
To be clear, viability != share and share != power either. I would definitely feel comfortable taking a random 5-0 deck to an FNM, and if it was something I knew how to play, feel comfortable expecting an average win rate.
A lot of the 'you can only play these X decks at top' comes off as the same old 'I can't have bad matchups' thinking and 'decks are either good or bad' thinking that's easy to fall into (not saying that's in your post, just a general observation);
If you are playing for money/views/etc, do you play the 53% deck or 51% deck? That doesn't mean the 51% deck is not viable, nor even a 49% etc. But if it's a 5k, a Challenge, etc, why would you play the deck that's *not as strong* if you are intending to win? (Of course, if your definition of winning includes putting a meme deck in the T32, well there's your answer)
BAN OMNATH, I PLAYED MY TRIBAL WALL DECK AND MY OPPONENT PLAYED CARDS THAT INTERACTED WITH MY CARDS.
0/10 unplayable. I also died to hammertime turn 2 both games but that was good clean magic.
(Yes, /s)
Ah- Boreal Druid!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your EldraziBlade deck!?
can I see it?
No
Boreal, Foreal?
Seeing Wild Nacatl and Atarka's Command again makes me cry

That DnT yorion list is kinda hot 🔥
Love that eldraziblade list. Also cool too see a decent amount of urza variants. Sad no mill or mud prison though.
I really like that Eldraziblade list. Seems like a fun take on the archetype.
That GR Zoo might be the aggro list I’ve been looking for
