Idk, I feel like if you're bringing in Moon, you get just as much % from having 4 better sideboard slots and just being aware that sometimes you're going to pillage yourself since you've decided to build a deck that does that.
At the very least, I'd think you could play varied utility lands
Idk just fucking weird to me
Maybe it's dual purpose? You side out your sagas and replace with Blast Zone + Moons, but when in MUs where you expect saga hate, you can catch a free win by replacing your Sagas with playable lands and leaving opp with 4 dead SB cards.
It is a lot of slots to dedicate for that though. But hey, seems to be working for that person!
I think the reason Jegantha is cut from Shadow is those two maindeck Furys right? That is a very interesting deck building decision, I’ll have to try it out
Cascading into rhinos is slightly better in most cases, but It's really not that bad to cascade into kavu.
It's probably largest creature on turn 2 in entire modern with great ability.
There are plenty of domain decks that get decent results with gameplan of cascading into kavu as best cascade hit in general ferrous builds.
Cascading into kavu also just compleatly dodges chalice of the void and flusterstorm.
So if opponent decide to stay back with fluster and you cascade into kavu they just put themselves in a really bad spot, as deck presents immense tempo.
That's... a lot of decks right? Seems like way more than usual. Wonder if the card pool stability is letting people branch out and brew new directions. Very cool spread!
That mono u Mill list is super interesting... 3 cerulean drake in the sideboard, I would imagine that card helps shore up burn, can randomly hose belcher as well.
Here is not the Torphy League with the Green Obosh deck but another 4-1 I played on stream with it.
Its spanish but still MTG

I've been intermittently playing AsmoReanimator for a while now and while I really love it, I honestly think that AspiringSpike's Esper Reanimator list is better for the moment.
AsmoReanimator allows you to pivot between two plans and use Cookbook to T2 Archon with Persist sure, but [[Aethermage's Touch]]/[[Witch's Cottage]] gives resilience to your main plan and you can play [[Stony Silence]] against opposing hate in the side which lowkey just turns off a ton of decks or parts of decks and forces them to dilute their plan further if they want to fight it with Prismatics, which are awful against the rest of your plan
I've been brewing with an instant reanimator shell and was thinking about Aethermage's Touch. Does it actually play well? 4 mana feels hefty and I see myself sideboarding it out in a lot of match ups.
Aspiring Spike has a lot of vids on youtube with the deck if you want to get a feel for it and discusses quite a lot about the card.
Short version though, it's good to have 5-8 over persist, but you need to tailor your deck to it so your manabase to has enough swamps for cottage and enough creatures for it to hit touch that you want to hit. It's also an ephemerate deck which helps a lot.

IT HAPPENED GUYS!!! THE OBOSH LIST IS MAINDECKING URZA’S SAGA ALONGSIDE 4 SIDEBOARD BLOOD MOON AND 4 MAGUS OF THE MOON. WELCOME TO 2032.
That's been a thing for months now. MHayashi be doing stuff.
He's definitely up there on the few people who consistently innovates and backs it with results. Dude is operating on another plane lol
Yes, but it’s also siding in 4 Blast Zones to replace the sagas. As fun as it is that’s still 12 slots dedicated to blood moon
Wat fuq Why are they replacing sagas with mountains
Because it's better than Blood Moons pillaging yourself
Idk, I feel like if you're bringing in Moon, you get just as much % from having 4 better sideboard slots and just being aware that sometimes you're going to pillage yourself since you've decided to build a deck that does that. Any idea why the list plays [[Kaito Shizuki]]? In fact, there are 2 copies in the SB. I'm not sure what sort of match-ups Kaito is good for.
Kaito is really good against grindy matchups/control.
grindy matchups

Kaito is good. Not amazing but draws cards and is semi annoying to deal with
Here is video of entire trophy league with domain rhinos: https://youtu.be/y2Z0k6PqWEg
Good job, really nice and innovative list!
Thanks, it's also very enjoyable to play, at least to those who are into tempo gameplay.
Very cool list! But how’s it feel to Cascade into just a Kavu instead of Footfalls?

Is it time to waste more tickets on mono U mill? Signs point to yes.

Good to see /uChaughey with spell pierce in the main of jeskai stone blade. I added one for my last league (4-1) and it has been a superstar. However, I still want some amount of solitude as it opens up game play a little bit. Going to keep grinding!

That Rb aggro deck lost me at Manamorphose. Not really sure what it's doing besides triggering our own Eidelon.
